When a good man is hurt, they are hurt so bad. He's still hurting but loved her enough to let her go. I'll tell you this, he will find a good woman before she finds a good man.....
She's been messy and petty. He's been quiet this entire time. People handle things differently, but she seems like she's moved on and he's still coping with everything.....

Tamera was single in her 20s and got to know herself.....Im 50 and started dating my husband at 15./married at 20 and kids at 25....I hit 40 and didn't know myself.....we didn't divorce, never an option for us. But I let him know I wasn't happy and it had absolutely nothing to do with our marriage. I just wasn't happy with myself. I/WE went to counseling, and we have the tools now.

What I’ve been seeing in the comments is people believing that if cheating or abuse wasn’t a factor, then the marriage is salvageable. Which is untrue because there’s other factors outside of that could lead to divorce. You can’t determine other people’s breaking points.

I remember Tia and Tamara did a reality show on the style network. It showed their work and family life. Tia often talked about feeling exhausted and needing help with the baby and balance. Tamara would tell her to take a break from work, but Tia would basically say she couldn’t afford to take a break from work. Fast forward to the divorce news, Tia started doing more videos on social media. She discussed a scenario of one spouse being the bigger provider of the household, which they were fine with because they knew one day the other would start making more income. The issue was when they did, they wanted the household financial situation to stay the same and not provide more.

He did reply in an interview once that Tia " got on his damn nerves!" People took that crap and ran with it! Before that interview, she only talked about him with such love and positivity like a high school girl in love with her first true love. She always talked about how they were best friends and could talk to each other about everything. If there are any full grown adults that are in long term relationships you know that sometimes your man gets on your nerves and sometimes you get on his nerves. The only difference is that he said it out loud, people heard it and got in her ear. I'm sure they started saying things like " Oh, she loves him more than he loves her, That was so disrespectful, No he didn't, She can do better than him and all kinds of other crap. The devil saw a crack and he slipped right in! I have wanted to address this situation for so long. I watched every episode of sister, sister and every episode of her and her sisters reality show and all of her cooking shows and trust me, she wasn't unhappy. She let the devil sneak in and misery loves company! Cory loves his family to goodness!

Wow. I can comprehend his pain. He’s been with Tia since 2000 and they met in 1999. She was there for him when he had no one, no car, no money, and was broke. He was a security guard on the Sister Sister set, so she pretty much held him down and made him a better man. Ultimately, they most likely outgrew each other and she may have been tired of holding it down, financially. So sad to see them part.

And then I know there is about to be people saying “they have different personalities”. I don’t want too hear it, something has been gone for a long time now.

Closed off people always feel no one asked. They were in therapy for years. Someone asked. He can be a good man but not good at emotionally connected relationships. He’s just like a lot Black men who are emotionally unavailable due to their childhood issues. “Good” kind and faithful men can also be distant, detached, cold, reclusive, stone walling, bread crumbing, depressed & refuse to get help. These type of people you can love until the heavens part and you’ll always be lonely with them. They’ll always “disappear” into a dark place within. They also self sabotage which involves the people they love. Being with a deeply connected & emotionally available person is a nightmare for them. Once they’re out of the relationship they seem free & happy because there’s no more pressure to give emotionally. Tia did not just wake up and leave a “PERFECTLY good man.” He pushed her away but want her to stay. Don’t forget he’s also an actor. Read up on detached attachments & avoidants.

Tia doesn't seem to be a Christian anymore. She said she's exploring and even has crystals. She's confused because she's all over the place. She doesn't have a source anymore. Cory still has his Christian faith and is still about God and his family but Tia is about herself now, trying to find herself and looking for meaning in life. I think Tia needs her family to be patient with her and just let her do her and see what she discovers. I just wish she'll do all that privately because Cory and her twin are catching strays now. Her fans are scrutinizing and attacking them based on what she's saying.
