Just great. The slide into the Hey Jude chorus revealed a hidden connection between two great composers.
The Hey Jude bit at the end is also in the original. This is George Harrison’s song though a lovely performance by Jimmy Nail, of course.

love it, great version, but it is a pity we dont see jimmy back on tv ie (spender) (crocodile shoes) also back in the music charts, the man is a north east talant, and it is about time to see him back doing anything.
I always admired Jimmy Nail. What a voice. I have enjoyed everything he's done. I would love to see more programs like Spender and Auf Wiedesehen Pet on TV. Come back Jimmy all is forgiven.
