What's the problem? Among the amazing inventions from George Santos, in addition to inventing gravity and electricity, he also invented the $199.99 store.
😆👍👍
😂😂😂😂
LOL
Total good one...funny as all get out

Justice Delayed is Justice Denied. Lock this criminal up and throw away the key.
"Nothing will fundamentally change."

Amen!!!! If this be some poor man who stole food for his family, he’ll be incarcerated for years.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we can do that to every politician that’s guilty of the same thing. Biden Bernie Sanders AOC Omar Nancy Pelosi. And more Would all be in jail!!
Is not enough for him to resign, he needs to be in jail
I predict he’ll go to jail, and he won’t resign. There is no law saying that a convicted congressperson has to resign. He can rot in jail and still be a representative. Isn’t that crazy?
This guy George Santos is costing more to investigate, than he is going to get paid for the one vote for Kevin McCarthy.
Because it is amazing what you can afford when you don't have to pay the bill.
We the people are paying to investigate Santos/DeVolver or who ever he is. We have to pay his salary, the people who put him in power and paid for his campaign will claim every dollar as a tax deduction.
He's probably a Russian troll
Getting this biological unit out of the house is worth every penny (and then some).
Couldn't he just have made it $187? Or something like that.. This guy is the worst criminal ever.
Right? He’s not a smart criminal. He could have put random different amounts instead of 199.99 and no one would have noticed.
Yeah, he stands out not because he’s a liar, but because he’s such a bad liar.
I'm glad he didn't. Maybe he'll be going to prison on account of stupidity. 😄😄😄
199.99 - 187.00 = 12.99
12.99 x 37 = 480.63
Your plan would have cost him almost 500 bucks! Ol' george ain't leaving that kind of cash just sitting on the table! Greed says get it all!
@@hanzinmypockets13 I woulda done 123 different entries for random amounts, and I bet it would have flown.
And I probably would have gotten away with a lot more than he did.
But then, I STILL wouldn't have bothered. I'd just be quiet and wait til I got on committees, and then "Never used Insider Knowledge on my trading, o noes!"
The problem with a Pathological Liar and Thief is they HAVE TO lie and thief , _no matter how OBVIOUS and self-destructive it is!_
All of that money went into Santos's pocket. And since he was pretending it wasn't income to him, he didn't pay taxes on it. Tax fraud too.
Gonna party like it's 199.99!
The best part about George Santos is the way he looks up at the elevator floors as if he's getting some info instead of answering the questions from the reporters. That is so funny... he will go down in history as the biggest disgrace our Congress has ever had.
He's the same a MTG and Matt geatz he just got caught
@@kellymm7630 Bimboebert too
No trump will. But he’s a reflection of USA citizens.
@@luatala8008 Trump was the president, not in congress. So, yes, Trump might be our biggest regret, but not in congress. My vote goes to MTG... she is a thousand times worse than some dumb liar. Her beliefs are wacko... Like the Jewish space lasers starting the California wildfires. GS is an embarrassment, MTG is dangerous.
He has been programmed to computers signals and chips.
Something is severely broken. In ANY kind of job these expenses would have you dismissed. What an utterly sick system.
I was a bookkeeper for years and this is a huge red flag. Something stinks
So obvious that he was structuring the transactions to avoid documentation requirements, which is just another violation.
George...or Anthony....or Kitara, or whatever he calls himself, has to go.
His prisoner number should be 199.
He will say his campaign staff handled all the spending and he had no knowledge of it.
He may try but if he lies under oath, that's another crime. He'll most likely plead the 5th like the rest of the criminal politicians. But they'll get him, just hope it doesn't take forever for his scammed constituents to receive the justice they are due.
That may work for all the $199.99 charges, but he lent his campaign $750,000 supposedly of his own money, with no explanation for how he got so rich after having a salary of $55,000 a year earlier. He can't say he had no knowledge of lending his campaign $750,000.
@@ronaldturner4849 💯💯💯❤🔥❤🔥🤜🤛
Uber of 199.99 is ridiculous!! I questioned George Santos spending over $26000 at an Italian restaurant!!! There should be receipts for all expenditures!!
Even an entry-level accountant would suspect legitimacy of "$199.99" purchases....even non-accountants can't believe that a candidate bought everything at that price. Unbelievable. At the restaurant? At the grocery store? Stationary? Gasoline? Sandwiches? Coffee? Binders? Just unbelievable.
💯💯💯❤🔥❤🔥👍
I bought a bond paper for $199.99.
Clearly this is Biden's fault.
An entry-level middle schooler would suspect legitimacy of $199.99 purchases! Oh, I forgot, Santos invented Middle School.
I'll choose "Felonious Campaign Expenditures of $199.99", for one thousand, Alex.
💯❤🔥
That category only has $200 questions.
This is exactly why we need to have a watch dog scrutinizing congress people campaign finances 🤷🏻♀️
These people are so connected. That's why I laugh at the Garlands and Smiths...their job is to keep trump out of custody. That's what they've accomplished. We're in a state of judicial crisis. We need outside intervention. Our system is impotent. They cannot charge a wealthy white man.
@Nicky L yes, of course we do. he wouldn't be under scrutiny for violations if we did not.
Um, Karla, hon, we do.
Donor transparency.....
@@democracysaved2577 And, why Spineless Speaker McCarthy keeps saying the issue is for the Ethics Committee. They mostly gutted that committee so they don’t have to be held accountable for their disgusting lying ways!
This George Scamtos needs to be removed from congress, the sooner the better.!!!!!!
when you have a pattern that appears to subvert regulations, that alone is grounds for investigation.
Money laundering and structuring at the most idiotic way.
199.99 for a Miami beachfront Hotel? Well he Only needed the room for 1 hour...
You gotta be pretty dumb to try to hide illegitimate transactions by putting *each one of them* one penny below the limit.
@@shielanunn3484 that's exactly what this bonehead Santos is doing money laundering. He's just not very good either...doing exactly what don the con Lump just got caught doing.
Money laundering? Look at all the politicians who had kids making big money in Ukraine a couple short years ago
@@howard7689 the problem is that working in a different country doesn’t meet the elements of the statute for money laundering but what Santos did knocks the elements out of the park. From layering to structuring etc. Plus who the heck cares about the son of the politician. Would you care if Ivanka broke the law and not vote for Trump? I can careless about Hunter and his addictions.
santos charged $199.99 when he landed on the moon and went to the cafe there. When he parted the red sea, he then paid $199.99 for the staff he bought from Moses. These are all legit transactions. How dare you!!!
He charged 199.99 for the patent of the polio vaccine that he created. Can’t leave that out!
😂😂😂😂
@@jasminegermany2895 And Schoedinger's _bris_ ...
You’d have to drive pretty far to have an Uber that costs 199.99 lol
No you don't! Just saying ☺️
Drive to Montauk Point on the edge of Long Island and drive off into the Atlantic Ocean--of wait, it's gonna cost more than $199.99 for the repairs if not the destruction of the vehicle. 😊😵💫🥴🤦🤦♀
My guess is that he spent way more than $199.99 but just claimed that amount. This guy should have been indicted long ago, along with the Splinter of the House, Kevie McCrapper who is aiding and abetting.
"Mr. Santos, the W Hotel has no rooms below $600. How do you explain this charge of $199.99?"
"They were sold out so they let me sleep in the janitor's broom closet."
Mr. Devolder.
"How many times are WE going to answer the same question?" Each one of your Aliases needs to answer the same question.
"It wasn't us, precious"
That he's not been drug out on handcuffs is a mockery of every member of congress.
I’d say it’s a mockery to the American people who are paying a salary to this lowlife.
But McCarthy still wants him.
…McCarthy needs to take a long walk off a short pier.
I bet he'll try to disappear before any real consequences come his way.
simple example: the restaurant, run by a friend, charges $114, for a group at Santos' table. He writes the check for 199.99, and tells the restaurant to refund him $60 cash, and adds, "keep the rest for a tip!"
@BlueLt naive?
Did you note the 60 bucks returned to scamthose?
Are you naively claiming that is legal?
more read, less tude.
More likely, he buys nothing and gives them $40 bucks and he gets the rest
Amounts below $200 don’t require receipts. So probably no receipts at all.
"He never had the makings of a varsity athlete."
So basically stealing money.
OMG!!! I can’t with this guy. He kept all the transactions a penny short to avoid detection but the amounts and frequency of same is exactly what triggered investigation of him. What school did he go to again??? Lol
That depends on which day you ask. 😂
Laws are for citizens
For the low price of $199 you buy yourself a "conservative values" politician
The problem here is even his so called treasurer is fake from the guy that supposedly signed his FEC paperwork? Head scratcher.
That signature was forged! or Georged!
Wish I could pay for the mortgage with $199.99 installments.
I'm not a cop but I played one on TV. Isn't he guilty of money laundering?
This should be easy enough for the professionals to figure out. I mean, come on... one day he's taking Delta in TX, couple days later American in GA, then a few days later an Uber in CA. It should be easy enough to subpoena the records of these businesses and find out if he was actually ON a plane in TX, GA... if he actually rode in an Uber (always in CA, just like Delta AIRFARES are always in FL, etc). These are bogus expenses and we all know it.
Nancy Marks, who had served as treasurer for Santos’ 2020 and 2022 campaigns as well as campaigns of other New York politicians including former Rep. Lee Zeldin, said she had left the post last week. And a year-end filing submitted late Tuesday night listed Andrew Olson as the Santos campaign’s new treasurer.
That was the same day both those groups filed amended forms claiming Tom Datwyler, who has served as treasurer for many GOP candidates, was now the treasurer.
But a lawyer for Datwyler said he had not agreed to serve in the role.
The FEC then asked Santos’ campaign to clarify the situation. Tuesday’s filing was the first to name Olson as the treasurer. The report also included a note saying it was “filed based on the limited information provided to the campaign from the previous treasurer Nancy Marks.”
Passing The Buck down the line...🤔🤔🤫🤨😒😕😡😠😠
solid investigation. good for scripps news.
He couldn't do a few 175s 180s anything in between that. That just shows how ignorant that is.
He has to be locked up in a room with his benefactor Trump, throw away the key, and forget it and move on...
Because George knew the owners of the Italian Restaurant so well, I have to wonder if they didn’t write receipts for $199.99 for each of his meals, then give George back the difference! Great pocket money for the little cheat!
Knowing what we do about Santos, he easily may have duped them or just went behind the counter while they were closing down for the evening. What a piece of work the guy is.
@@J5L5M6 🤔😒☹😠
All this and he's still not charged.
Did this guy not know that these documents would be public?
He also spent $199.99 for each of those snappy fiberglass vests.
Couldn't they just check with the businesses to get the actual cost of his visits?
I was wondering the same thing
Start with Il Bacco.
But if there's no receipt, how could it be traced?
That could easily be checked via the restaurants records. We kept record of every sale when I managed a restaurant. Both cash, and credit card paying customers
Wearing nonprescription lenses is one thing, paying around with campaign finance laws is another.
🤣
ALL expenses need to be accounted for with a receipt submitted. This money is coming out of the public purse ultimately. How many tax paying citizens are going without because they can't afford necessities?
💯💯❤🔥
George Santos is The $199.99 Man. Move over, Lee Majors.
he shops at the $199.99 store in chinatown in ny
He is as real as a 3 dollar bill.
$200 could save someones life, but yeah they treat it as not even worth getting a receipt for, pretty disgusting
In my country, a business operator has to keep the receipt for absolutely _everything._
No one at the GOP said you had to be a smart criminal Congress person, just an unscrupulous criminal Congress person
Now the Former Guy, the Liar in Chief, has actual competition in the number of lies category. My hopes are Santos and 45 share a cell in Federal prison.
Get those number and check if Greene was one of them.
This entire mindset of lying, shuck and jiving, blaming others, evading responsibility, making accusations that are untrue, all goes back to 45. Although lying and graft have always been with us - he refined it to an art form. And normalized it as well....Ugh.
If we do federal travel we may still be required to provide receipts if we spend less than $75
Now I would like to know who is paying for Santos lawyers, and it better not be taxpayers' money
Good reporting
The government should scrap $199.99 threshold and require all receipts.
$199.99 is what Rudy charges on Cameo, for a birthday message.
Santos behavior is so bizarre that it seems he wants to get busted.
You can only come to the conclusion about how Santos laundering money works.
Thanks for a */SUPER/* report!
Didn't Prince once say " Party like it's $199.99 " 😳
Hehe 😋
So he claims $199.99 and puts $200 in his pocket for spending money, or perhaps the treasurer was pocketing the cash.
He has no treasurer...The treasurer that he claimed he had said that he did not accept the job lol
@@s0sDarkAngels0s well there's lie #623! Does Santos ever tell even a half truth!?
@@ottopartz1 Well at least he was half honest about the drag queen thing
This reporter is becoming famous. She's in almost every shot of Santos running down the hall to the elevator.......lol
Where did this channel come from? Frigging great job of actual journalism.
Great exposé, Alex!
I continue to wonder why ppl work for him? What kind of ppl would willingly work for a man with no decency, no moral compass, a man who has lied his entire adult life? It says a lot about THEIR characters!
The black bald guy is loving every bit of this. Every time I see him on camera he's smiling. Almost as if its a game to them.
Lol…. So he was discovered at 99 cents store? No wonder the “quality” or lack of we are getting!!!!!
Lighten up on poor Georgie/Anthony/Kitana, he/she lost both parents last year...Queen Elizabeth and Meatloaf. TWICE!
There would be some kind of paper trail to confirm these costs - if they are real. No one pays Uber in cash. There would be credit card statements to back up the claims. No one buys airline tickets or hotels with cash. Also, no one carries around thousands of dollars to pay for meals, parking, etc. There might be the occasional cash expense for parking, etc. but not for $199.99.
the 199 is part of the art.
Today’s campaign filing was even more ridiculous than the previous one from him.
At the restaurant paid for the amount made a large tip and took the cash
Excellent job, Scripps!
The Talented Mr Santos, the gift that keeps on giving. Hutzpah!
Santos should be in a compilation of dumb crooks videos.
Im waiting for the movie. The title is "My name is George " Staring John Lebowitz as George Santos.
@@MrDan11422 🤣😂🤣
Santos flashed a white power hand sign when being sworn in
I can't stand how that dude that's always with Santos it's already laughing and trying to make a joke out of it like it's just something that's so hilarious
On May 22, 1856, Representative Preston Brooks of South Carolina entered the Senate Chamber and repeatedly struck Senator Charles Sumner of Massachusetts over the head with a cane.
Sumner had given a speech critical of slavery.
At least George hasn't done that. Yet.
Trump is so proud of his protege.
“BOY “ he sure eats a lot!!🤪🙃!
If Santos had an iota of insight....he'd be on 24hr watch.
Congress men and women should be audited every year.
Guy's obviously a genius.
"implausible to the point of being essentially impossible" says it all. We're talking the recent past, receipts from the retail outlets should confirm his claims yet still render concern. I'm an always tipper at my favorite sushi bar but $199.99 and twice in one day is either some kind of service or some kind of arrangement for sure.
Hopefully after this we can create measures to prevent things like this instead of letting it slide.
pretty simple what he was doing. If the bill was over 200 , he would split the bill, charging 199 to the campaign then covering the rest some other way. Is that legal? It might actually be if he is allowed to get hotel rooms and food with campaign funds.
When I was a kid just out of college, I knew enough not to fill out an expense report as stupidly as Santos. 🧐
...George "Flim Flam" Santos...
George, I'm sorry I got caught, Santos.
Prices are rounded down to the nearest multiple of 5 cents for sales ending in: 1¢ & 2¢ (rounded to 0¢); and 6¢ & 7¢ (rounded to 5¢).
If the other crooks do it, you won't be able to do anything to Santos. Unless its a matter of degree, and that won't work in court. Basically its like telling me there is gambling in Vegas
when you say there is a thief in congress.
This could be a great movie.
The GOP has finally found the perfect Republicon in Santos.
What about reconciling the financial statement with actual invoices? Are the penny below 200 charges imaginary or are the merchants in on it?
Crazy Santos is auditioning for his new occupation...199.99...Our prices are insa-a-ne!!!!
