Yup. I think this 450 MT will be a hit and I look forward to seeing what follows.
CFMoto is making very quick turnaround in upgrades and tweaks based on customer input, and coming out with new models as well. As you touched on, they've partnered with KTM and apparently made the 650 engines for Kawasaki as well (and that's why they used them in their own models to start)? And they've been making ATVs for a long while. The CL-X is a striking bike in person. I was eager to see the 450NK and MT models, and that 800NK naked looks interesting also.... They are making inroads quickly! Meanwhile some of the old brands are moving so slowly it seems. Both the China and India based manufacturers are going to make more and more noise in the market.
They are and when they get the design, quality, service and price right the established brands might be in trouble. It happened before with Japan in the 1970’s. This time it seems to be quicker.
Very well presented! I’d bet your hanging to see the KOVE 800X😉 But, definitely the CFMoto 450MT is a great entry level rally bike trying to catch up with KOVE

I’d put CFM above Kove just in relation to dealer support. Especially with CFM having association with KTM now. Love seeing the competition in this category, though!
@@PeakMotorcyclesall depends on the pricing in india. It will do great even if it's priced $800 higher than the himalayan 450. Himalayan final price will be around $4000-4200 in india so if CF Moto can launch it in that price range then it will be a real competitor but I am thinking their final pricing will be somewhere around $5k with original stuff being replaced by cheaper parts and that will kill their game. Will be very hard for CF MOTO to compete with RE 450 in india, RE 450 ex showroom price in india is $3400 and after all the taxes and insurance it will go upto $4200.
@@nuclear9977I think there’s a 100% tax on imported bikes, so unless CFMoto can manufacture in India, I can’t see how they could sell a bike like the 450MT and price it competitively. So it may end up being for the non-India market only. I guess that is the price of protectionism.
I've owned over 100 motorcycles and spent almost a decade in the powersports industry, I recently picked up the 450SS and going to pick up the 450NK this weekend, let me tell you, these bikes are solid, we'll see how the reliability is but so far, I'm very impressed with the performance and build quality of the 450ss. I will tell you though, add $1000 to the price of the bikes, all the dealers in my region (southeast US) add an enormous amount of fees to the retail price, still a good value but don't let the retail prices fool you. Great video!
I'd like to think it'll make them take notice. Bigger, better, faster, higher tech and therefore higher price, isn't always what people want. There seem to be a lot of bikes the wrong side of £20k in the the UK right now, and while 150hp+ is fun, you really don't need it for most things. I'm looking forward to giving the CFMoto a try!
Agreed but the Japanese/euro brands have a big dealer network and that matters. I would be very interested in CF but there aren’t any dealers anywhere close.

Hi, I found it fine, but I’m 6’1”. I didn’t pay close enough attention to how high the stand was either. If there’s one at the London motorcycle show, I’ll check the seat height properly and let you know.
I think so, yes, but with a different engine map for more torque and less power. The SRS makes it pretty high up in the rev range, which is perfect for a supersports, but I think an adventure bikes needs more low down to be useful.
The abandoned KTM twin engine! The MT 450 looks the business, the seat is quite low, about the same weight as my Transalp 600 ;-) As you say, Andre, the Himalayan 452 and MT 450 are close competitors, around 6,500 Euro. Both attack the established brands (who lean back and have very little innovation). Thanks for your vids, Günter
I’m waiting for the 450 Scrambler !! As soon as they make it I’m buying! When this comes to China I’ll be be test riding it for sure, they’ll probably have the 800mm seat option (much better for me). I love the 450NK - killer bike!
Thanks for the vid. Been looking forward to this coming! UK expat here living in the Philippines, so we should be one of the earlyier countries to receive it going by past launches by CFmoto... - already sent them a mail as to how to preorder the 450MT...lets see what they come back with... this is exactly the bike I have been looking for which didn't exist until now!
Me too. Though my dealer doesn’t know when they’ll be coming, so I asked someone at CFMoto in China and he said they weren’t rolling off the assembly line yet. That was 16th January, but even when they do, it’s probably a 55 day sea transit, plus a week or two at each end for transport to/from the port, loading and customs. My guess is late Q2 perhaps? If I find out any more I’ll share it.
In the US, CFMoto is showing up at lots of dealers. I only have 1 RE dealer 60 miles away, but CFMoto at multiple dealers closer, and with the nice tech and more support I have to wonder how the competition will really stack up. I suspect CFMoto is going to make big inroads in the US and faster than RE.
@@PeakMotorcycles Haha, great minds think alike. A week ago, I fell in love with the Triumph Scrambler 400, then changed my mind to the Royal Enfield 450 (bigger tank and centre stand), but this new CFMoto has it all ... nothing more to spend.
I have to comment on this one because I have lived in china for a while I left around 4 years ago, and even then china didn’t really have any decent motorcycles, how things can change in what seems a short time, obviously with the help from other major manufacturers such as ktm plus they are listening to what the customer wants. But what I did learn when I was there there’s no shortage of money to invest in plus government help, I just hope for the future of motorbikes CF moto keep their prices realistic and more affordable for more people, think about the future and the younger generation and affordability
they still haven't figured out how to make their bikes lighter, that 450mt looks like it's gonna be near the 200kgs. they're quite reputable where I'm from, hope they sort that out in the future.
Fantastic content Andre. The cfmotos are coming on so well and the quality is up there. Now watching this video I would say I prefer the 450MT over the Himalayan. On the spec sheet you showed, it said the seat height was adjustable down to 800mm. Thats fantastic for us shorter people or for somebody who wants to be sure footed. Just need a dealer that isnt a 160 plus mile round trip to go and try one.
I think I'm going that way vs. the Himalayan... If you'd asked me this morning that would have seemed unlikely. I think I'd still like to ride both. A twin has a very different characteristic to a single, and I'm hoping it's not a straight lift and shift from the 450SR as I think that would need some work to keep it in the right working rev range.
Looks don't mean much. Chinese motorcycles (like CF Moto, Benelli, Moto Morini, etc) have always had "looks". This is kind of like the KTM-390 Adventure, a road bike under the guise of an adventure bike.
Certainly looks an interesting bike, I bet if it had the Ktm badge on it would be alot of fuss going on about it can't believe the dropped the engine from the KTM lineup.. I think it's what alot of us were asking for 270 degree crank, tubless an a 450 twin, I think this is gonna be the Royal Enfield's biggest problem now it's only £550 so cheaper for the top of the line 450 Himmy to the NX500 with Honda Reliability an a well proven engine, an very close to the 300 Rally price wise that I bought n owned before I let that go for the 1150GSA. I think the interesting thing will be where this lands price wise could really upset the applecart as in the UK the RE is still a nightmare to get parts from RE from what I'm reading on the forum's so nothings changed from when I had mine. Quite a few people with bikes of the road still for a few months. If they dont get a grip of that it could really open the door up for some of these companies.
Yup, though UK availability is still a bit of a mystery. I’ve tried calling my local CFMoto dealer a couple of times asking, and each time they’ve said they’ll get back to me and I’ve heard nothing. Maybe it’s not coming to the UK as ‘There’s no market for one’…. I beg to differ. Maybe in 2024?
@@PeakMotorcycles yep you think it would be a dead cert for the UK Market certainly the bike we all want. It's a shame the Japanese won't produce a motorcycle like that. At the moment it's looking like a NX500 or a vstrom 650xt for dad an I.
they make such good looking bikes and they hold up well here in my country, the only problem is their power to weight ratio on their bikes. they're pretty established now.

That is looking really nice especially at that weight including the crash bars, lights, tubeless wheels and a twin engine. I spotted a USB socket and throttle cables so no ride modes, which aren't really needed on this size bike and less to go wrong. What is the 'phone' about? It's included? I guess for satnav and music?
Yup, it's definitely well spec'd. Re. the phone... I meant that the phone bracket, not the phone is included... but yes, I can see how I sort of said the phone was included. It isn't as far as I know, but the phone mount is.
From YT videos the biggest surprise was kove 800X pro and rally too, 185kg 799cc twin, 275mm ground clearance and long travel suspensions, if only the 400cc was the A2 brother it would be perfect, sadly its not.
I hope they offer a low fender in some way for the 450MT, the shape and angles of the front fairing look similar to the Norden 900, would look good with a low fender IMO.
I am loving the way a lot of the new stuff looks like it’s designed to be used off road with all the protection. And I love that 450 my CRF300 Rally is nice but it’s rapidly starting to look delicate underpowered and overpriced! - watch out Honda
The MTX concept looks like the bees knees, I’d be tempted with that when it’s properly released. Does look like it’s a KTM, only probably comes with all the bits and probably doesn’t have the silly demo mode on it, which could wipe out KTM adventure sales
@@PeakMotorcycles not I'm the UK (where I'm from) but over here in New Zealand the dealer let me have a sneak peak. If you check out some of the EU they list them too
@@willyd-advwill do, though the specs do tend to vary from market to market, even when there seems no good reason for it, like the Thai CRF300 getting an LED headlamp and indicators, the UK one with a filament headlamp and indicators, but the UK Rally gets LED indicators but the US Rally is filament bulbs. I also think the UK Himalayan 452 has more options for tubeless than the Indian models. I’ll see what I can find about the 450MT though. I guess we are still a few months away from getting them in the UK.

The CFMoto 450 MT is a very intriguing bike! I'm looking for substituting my fatty-heavy 1200cc ADV with something moooore light and agile/funny, and this bike seems very close to what I'm looking for. 175 Kg as dry weight is not bad for a twin. I think this 450 MT will be a hit and I look forward to seeing what follows.
The 450MT sounds like the ideal adventure bike for someone my size. Can’t wait
I'm sure it will do very well.
Thanks for the video , 450Mt and MTX ARE A BEAST 👌👌
Yes they are!
Thanks for you video...I'm really waiting for 450 Mt...looks nice design....
You and me both!
I've seen it. (That's my next edit. 'Should be up in an hour or so. It's just gone 2230 here, and I decided to work until midnight. I have another long day of fliming tomorrow, and I have Thursday and Friday to keep editing, so no point burning out on day 1!)
I’d put CFM above Kove just in relation to dealer support. Especially with CFM having association with KTM now. Love seeing the competition in this category, though!
Thanks for sharing this Stand at the show Epic stuff from CFMoto
It's good isn't it.
Sure is Andre . Looks forward to more of the show Thanks again
Cf moto will rule in India since honda n Yamaha ignore the midweight adv demand in country....really waiting for the launch in India @CFmoto🙌
Great. It’ll be interesting to see how it does vs the Himi 452 in its home market.
Merci pour cette vidéo 👍
Thanks!
Thanks for that. Good to know.
Interesting CF MOTO seriously doing well stunning looks and quality in everything's hopes to hear more from you bro
Thanks ✌️
I fall in love ... this is this bike what i want to have.
Luckily you probably can! Just not right now...
@@PeakMotorcycles Yeah... look when. Actualy i ride an 25 years old DR650 SE.

I hope so!
CFMOTO! It's Just giving a big kick to the hits of many very known brands!! Isn't it!!?
I'd like to think it'll make them take notice. Bigger, better, faster, higher tech and therefore higher price, isn't always what people want. There seem to be a lot of bikes the wrong side of £20k in the the UK right now, and while 150hp+ is fun, you really don't need it for most things. I'm looking forward to giving the CFMoto a try!
Agreed but the Japanese/euro brands have a big dealer network and that matters. I would be very interested in CF but there aren’t any dealers anywhere close.
@@eastsidebadger8416 that's right!! But if you read about the brand !! They are already building shops almost in whole Europe!! Also en UK!! Central and southamerica .. Australia .. África etc!! USA in every state already!! With the name Cfmoto Ibex!

Many thanks!
Cf moto is making moves...
They are.
Finally the perfect Adv bike!
I suspect it's not the perfect motorway cruiser, or 2-up overtaker, but it does tick a lot of boxes, or it looks like it does.
@@PeakMotorcycles doesn’t have to be perfect for those things but it will allow the ability to do so and still kinda comfortably. It’s hopefully a great all around and also the himalyian 452. I’m curious how they will stack up
Wow great coverage on these bikes I was looking to get a 800 MT but their hard to come by and that 450 MT looks pretty nice...
Got for 450 mt. It's wiser choice
@@dipankarbaiswal6506 yeah I’m look into it…
I’m hoping they will be available. Waiting to see.
I just ordered the 450mt im just wondering how you found the height I'm 5'8
Hi, I found it fine, but I’m 6’1”. I didn’t pay close enough attention to how high the stand was either. If there’s one at the London motorcycle show, I’ll check the seat height properly and let you know.
Is the engine in 450mt same like in 450 srs? 270 degree crank?
I think so, yes, but with a different engine map for more torque and less power. The SRS makes it pretty high up in the rev range, which is perfect for a supersports, but I think an adventure bikes needs more low down to be useful.
The abandoned KTM twin engine! The MT 450 looks the business, the seat is quite low, about the same weight as my Transalp 600 ;-) As you say, Andre, the Himalayan 452 and MT 450 are close competitors, around 6,500 Euro. Both attack the established brands (who lean back and have very little innovation). Thanks for your vids, Günter
I look forward to trying them. Perhaps I'll end up with one.
@@PeakMotorcycles Or the Himi 452?
I’m waiting for the 450 Scrambler !! As soon as they make it I’m buying! When this comes to China I’ll be be test riding it for sure, they’ll probably have the 800mm seat option (much better for me). I love the 450NK - killer bike!
Sounds awesome. I think this engine will be a great platform.

I look forward to riding one!
Thanks for the vid. Been looking forward to this coming! Lucky you!
ordered mine this morning here, in France. They expecting to have the first ones on April
looking like end of Feb to Mid-March here... no orders being taken yet though@@crazyosva
Nice vlog loved cfmoto
Thanks
I ordered one 😊
6:11 ... I love that pantomime mask on the new 800MT. A big cheeky grin.
🤣 Some things you can't unsee!
Cf moto are really coming on leaps and bounds, the mainstream manufacturers should be concerned Andre, great content
They are and their stand has been packed all week.
Seems like CFMoto is a winner there then
Cfmoto 450mt very beautiful
It's a good looking bike.
I gotta say (as a T7 owner) - I am impressed with how the bike looks under the spotlights. Eager to see a legit , offroad test on this bike.
Yup, me too. I'm curious as to how they've remapped the 450 SRS motor for an adventure bike.
That 450mt looks fantastic
It does. And just a few hours ago, the Himalayan 452 was my favourite...
@@PeakMotorcycles Haha, great minds think alike. A week ago, I fell in love with the Triumph Scrambler 400, then changed my mind to the Royal Enfield 450 (bigger tank and centre stand), but this new CFMoto has it all ... nothing more to spend.
Nice video.
Thanks!
How is the seat height adjustable?
I’m sorry but I don’t know. Did it say somewhere that it was? If so, I guess either the seat mountings or the suspension.
Thanks for that. Much appreciated
💪😎💪
Thanks!
CF have the ability to hurt the big brands starting to see more and more of them out and about
Loving the coverage Peaks👌
they still haven't figured out how to make their bikes lighter, that 450mt looks like it's gonna be near the 200kgs. they're quite reputable where I'm from, hope they sort that out in the future.
Thanks.
Phenomenal
It is.
Tomara que venha para o Brasil
I hope it does.
U can adjust Himalayan's seat to 805mm urself. Plus Himalayan's seat is narrow on the front which makes it better suited for short riders.
Nice bike. I want one.
Me too!
@@PeakMotorcycles is the size of the bike a little bit smaller than an 800MT or same as the crf300?
Very interesting bike 👍 Chinese make really good looking bikes and still to see the reliability..
CFMoto continue to improve. I look forward to trying one.
@@PeakMotorcycles Me too 😉, I would like to try the Kove 800 also, the bike is very nice.
Please tell us your height and inseam when you sat on the bike
I’m 6’1” with 32” inseam all the time, not just when I sit on a bike 😉
@@PeakMotorcycles 😂😂😂
That 450 MT is really impressive.
imho is too heavy 175 kg dry :(
@@beddccom who's lighter? =)
I think it's my bike of the show so far. (That or the Kove 800X which I still have to edit...)
@@IvanIbanov-i9t Voge 300 Rally, Honda CRF300L, Suzuki DR-Z400, ...
they make such good looking bikes and they hold up well here in my country, the only problem is their power to weight ratio on their bikes. they're pretty established now.
Yup, but for the pricepoint, I think they are still pretty good.
450MT come with tubeless spoke, yes, just take my money!!!!
That seems to be a popular opinion!
Is the engine 270° Twin?
It is, to give it a v-twin feel from a parallel twin.
been waiting for the ADV 450 since the SR450 was released, are Brixton there? any news on a UK distributer or the 500 Storr? and thanks re the 675, ill do some digging and comparisons on the build, CF Moto really are listening it seems
I've not been round all the halls yet, and I have a feeling Brixton are listed under their parent companies name (which I forget). I'll do the other halls tomorrow, and if they are, I'll do a video. Time permitting.
@@PeakMotorcycles nice one, ill be honest and say i dont quite get the branding when they dont sell in the UK, but the Storr looked interesting last year but heard no progress about it since, youre doing great mate, youve got faster editing skills than me lol
The cfmoto 450 looks very nice.
It does, doesn't it.
It's just me being hard of understanding ;) @@PeakMotorcycles

It does. I think it will do really well. It'll also depend on how it rides, but I can't wait to find out!
Bang for buck, CFMoto have an answer.
They do
From YT videos the biggest surprise was kove 800X pro and rally too, 185kg 799cc twin, 275mm ground clearance and long travel suspensions, if only the 400cc was the A2 brother it would be perfect, sadly its not.
Yup. That's my next edit...
Nice specs. The battle between the CFmoto 450 MT vs the Himalayan 452 is set..!!
Indeed. It’ll be interesting to see the pricing. Lower than the Honda CB500X/NX500 perhaps?
I hope they offer a low fender in some way for the 450MT, the shape and angles of the front fairing look similar to the Norden 900, would look good with a low fender IMO.
I'm sure there will be a host of aftermarket options, though not every bike appeals to everyone.
The 450 MT is very nice!
It is!
I am loving the way a lot of the new stuff looks like it’s designed to be used off road with all the protection. And I love that 450 my CRF300 Rally is nice but it’s rapidly starting to look delicate underpowered and overpriced! - watch out Honda
So is mine!
If the price is right the 450 looks like a really good proposition. 😊
Yes. I think that will be key. Especially alongside the new Royal Enfield Himalayan.
@@PeakMotorcycles the dealer is thinking the price will be around 7000 eur
The CF Moto said the same to me except he said $7000 USD in my case.
in France they are talking about 7600/7800 eur
The MTX concept looks like the bees knees, I’d be tempted with that when it’s properly released. Does look like it’s a KTM, only probably comes with all the bits and probably doesn’t have the silly demo mode on it, which could wipe out KTM adventure sales
That does seem silly of KTM, especially if people run their bikes in properly. Just when you could try the demo mode it stops working...
Most of the items you mention aren't stock parts, this is a fully specked up one
Good to know. I don’t think I’ve seen the spec list for the UK yet. Is it available?
This bike looks better than the Himalayan,, only thing the spec sheet didnt show is ..its a 5 or 6 spd ?
The 450 MT is a six speed.
Meanwhile Kawasaki with its 400 cc twin engine and honda with its 500 cc twin engine had a lot of years to bring something like this but somehow they didnt. cF moto is hitting really hard lately

The CFMoto 450 MT is a very intriguing bike!
I'm looking for substituting my fatty-heavy 1200cc ADV with something moooore light and agile/funny, and this bike seems very close to what I'm looking for.
175 Kg as dry weight is not bad for a twin. I was looking for a single cylinder but... this bike is so nice!
21" front and 18" rear... I'm bought.
P.S.
The navi-gps mounting bar going up/down with the windscreen is a very smart solution. Bravi!

It's essentially CFMoto's take on a KTM 790 Adventure (which CFMoto make for KTM). Nice bike though!
Anyone knows it's dry or curb weight?
My error I think. It's dry weight, not total, so it's actually about he same as the Himalayan.
