I believe if you shear a sheep that sheep does not de-spawn, so it is possible that you are encountering the same few pink sheep. Great video, liking the series!
That is true, I’ve made a world once and dyed a sheep yellow and sheered it. Ran off came back and it was still there, I know yellow sheep don’t spawn naturally(or I don’t think so)

27:04 there is sugarcane to the right of you as you walk away from where you placed the two pieces and say you will have to go looking for some more as you walk back to the village. Lol

This could be a cool way to add various trading posts in your world. With the new trading system Mojang is working on, it seems like a no-brainer to have a place to earn and spend emeralds to get resources.
Also, taking a couple of episodes to build a town/ small city for world building purposes would be neat, so it's not just your bases/ campsites

CQOTD: Have you ever played/ considered playing other survival games like stranded deep. Been watching since I was kid and now I can’t stop they are so satisfying.
another thing you could add is from vanilla tweaks, they have a pack called “Diminishing Tools” which is a completely cosmetic change where the tools will look more and more broken as they get used!
Oh my goodness, how very tragic that the mayor died of a sudden fall + heart attack + random creeper explosion that was completely unprovoked!
On the other hand I think they’ll be in great hands under your dicta- I mean your reig- I mean good management Overlord Emperor Mr. Mayor Dallas!

Idea while you're at the village make that village the biggest and most populated village in the world and then add more houses that way if there's ever an emergency you can come back for a short while love your content by the way

This is just an idea but every time that you return to this village, or any spot for that matter; you can develop it bit by bit to make it look as if villagers or fellow wandering traders have decided to settle down in that area.

you can use the vinalla tweaks texture packs, theyre really nice and have some usefull features like smaller sheilds and other good things like warm lighting

I don't know if it works on Java, but to save paper on maps you can use a cartography table. It's a 1:1 ratio

Hey Dallas you said last episode that you may add more mods as the series goes on. I think it would be cool after a while of vanilla friendly mods you start adding mods that ads content like more bosses for example.
CQOTD: would you ever consider doing a LP of a skyblock world or a 1 block world since there pretty popular right now (love the videos🙂🙂🙂)
I recommend the bobby and nvidium mods, bobby mod will keep loaded chunks loaded without impacting performance, nvidium greatly optimizes your gameplay however this only works with nvidia graphics cards.

Ya know, this series has definitely inspired me to also do some nomadic living in Minecraft
For your storage issue enable the "Bundles" experimental datapack and place the items from your llamas into the bundles. In last episode you had 2 rabbit hide in that desert village (It takes 6 rabbit hide and 2 string to make a bundle)
When harvesting things like pumpkins you should craft one into seeds and plant the seeds

I don’t mind the idea of having multiple series be gone for some time and come back. Because it’s kinda the reason I found this one. I kept seeing your main World videos and it was hard for me to keep up and watch all of the because they were almost consistent. But when you brought this series back it was more slow pace and it reminded me of much I love Minecraft because it’s exactly like that. It’s either a slow pace game or a fast pace game and it’s the way you play it that makes it enjoyable for the player. So play your series with enjoyment not care.

I did expect an upload from you from the trials update the day it came out but from my experience it was glitchy and bugged. There was no stuff in chest and there were small chambers and broken ones too.

You should try to get in on the next hermitcraft. I feel like that could give a great chance to bring back viewers. I believe you can bring back this channel and even grow if you could get a chance on hermitcraft

Have a look at the antique atlas mod, very much more in keeping with Minecraft it feels more like minecraft and it looks good as well
it's sadly outdated. Only has an option for 1.20.1 while all my mods are 1.20.4

Dallas!!! In the mod configs for the atlas mod, you can use paper instead of maps to fill your atlas, so its not as expensive that way. Love these videos!!!

You can also configure a lot of other mods as well with it, including better clouds and your sounds mod as well

There is a different atlas mod called antique atlas and that one should just update without requiring new maps everytime. Loving the series though

😂 Now that sugar cane that I spotted at 27:06 in your video could be the sugarcane that you found already but yeah ahm there was sugar cane at 27:06 in your video as you're going up the hill to the right, and you just said that there wasn't any sugar cane around in the area.
I like the atlas but like you said it wasted too much materials and I kind of think the big map is better because it'll show the viewers how much you traveled and where you want to travel to when you're trying to explain where you want to go.
I also think that a atlas could be a useful item in Minecraft today as a base game feature just with a little bit less expensive materials to update the map like you said.

If you rather an atlas mod that isn't as expensive, try "Antique Atlas". Similar style but doesn't require the constant input of resources.
