History of this world:
This survival series started on July 10th 2014 on the MCPE (Minecraft Pocket Edition) App. I had quite a few MCPE videos before this series that I recorded and edited on the iPod 4th Generation. When I finally upgraded to the iPhone 5, this was when I wanted to start a Minecraft series that will last forever! I started this series on the iPhone 5 and eventually upgraded again to the iPhone 6 Plus for more power on Ep.66. MCPE on the iPhone 6 Plus served me well for a long time until the game started updating more and became even slower. This was until I bought myself a gaming laptop (Lenovo Y700) and transferred my ongoing MCPE world to Windows 10 Edition on Ep.154. Till this day, we are still surviving and thriving with builds in this world and plan to do so far into the future!

Him and Fwhip are the only Minecraft ones i watch. They both, mainly Dallas, don't do the ADHD editing, and make their worlds full of ugly buildings and farms. This is more of how I play it.

@@billasweather7833 True true, but not as some of the other channels. Plus I think he is a little dramatic on streams. But I also love his world, its amazing. There was a video of a guy building the Titanic in Hardcore and he doesn't give a background on why he did it or all the farming its just sped up footage and no tour at the end, just ends after he completes it.

The minecart doesn't maintain the same velocity after launch, curved rails drastically slow it down so the best fix is to add 1 or 2 more powered rails in the middle so it can keep going. :)

hey dallas! to answer your first question; no, nests do not behave differently than hives. you are also right that when the nest/hive is empty it will stack, but what can also occur is when there is 1 or 2 bees in the nest it will also not stack. your farm appears as if each of those hives does not contain its max of 3. it is much more work, but very worth it to separate the nests into individual glass huts and make sure that each of them has 3 bees. if not, they are easy to breed in mass numbers with flowers :) trust me, you will get much more honeycomb or glass bottles

The honey farm turned out fantastic. It's got a very striking shape and great details. I love brutalist architecture in Minecraft, and you do it wonderfully.
I love getting the yt notification for these videos when I'm at work because I know I get to come home, make a choccy milk, get cozy and watch dallas :) I will miss them (at least their frequency), but I'll find comfort in knowing that you'll be supporting yourself!
You should add window cleaners to the skyscrapers or towers. Use a grindstone with chain to look like a lift chain

I think the firefly frog thing was an excuse. I think a more likely reason to not add fireflies is because the game cannot create dynamic lighting without causing lag. I know they were working on adding dynamic lighting around the time the glowsquid was added and there was some complaints that the glow squid doesn't glow. So maybe they cancelled fireflies until dynamic lighting works and then fireflies will come.

I believe the only difference between Beehives and Bee nests is that Beehives don’t require Silk Touch, but in efficiency they’re the same!

Hey dallas, one thing which you can do to make your maps more interesting is to make a banner, rename it to the name of a certain location, and then place it on the location. Doing that will make the name of the location pop up in your maps!

I think he’s spoken about this before, he’s not a fan of the 1000 days style videos (what’s popular). There has been a rise in popularity of slower content much like the older style of Minecraft videos much like his current style of video. I do think if he did some chill longplay type content like waxfraud he could see more rise is views, but that’s personal opinion.

i think it would be cool if the chimney of the honey factory continued downwards inside the factory about half way down, and all the honey machines had pipes and stuff going up into it, its hard to explain but its kinda like the lift shaft you fall down in Portal 2 chapter 6: the fall if you wanna search it up

CQOTD: sorry if youve done this before, but what do you use for inspiration for your city? Do you use real cities/ buildings or fake ones? Do you have a journal where you draw ideas and then make them in your world? I know bdubs goes on walks and gets inspiration from that.

dallas, the hopper minecart slows down because of the items that are in there. the more items there are in a hopper/chest minecart the more it slows down so, you would have to put more redstone rails there.

Dallas you should turn on the option in the world settings to see how many days you've played. It won't track all of them from PE but I'm pretty sure it'll count any from when you moved to Bedrock on your laptop years ago. Would be cool to see!
Dallas have you thought about making a University or little college town in your world? Maybe away from the city a bit or it could be a city school like Georgia Tech or something with the bees.

So for a mud farm you will need a gold farm for lots of gold to trade with piglins to get gravel, from there you need some dirt from there craft course dirt and place it down, turn it into path blocks and mine it, then use a water bottle to turn your newly duplicated dirt into mud :)
Probably a much easier way but a fun way nonetheless
that is to complicated you could just mine dirt and then turn it into mud with watterbottles.
