I have been using Irish Spring soap since 1972. I love the scent of it, and keep several bars in my bedroom. At night, I place a bar in each tennis shoe to keep them smelling fresh. I also place a bar on top of the shirt that I am going to wear the next day. Here in the USA, I don''t think I have ever paid more than 50 cents per bar. Yesterday, I bought a 8 pack of Irish Spring soap for $4 at Dollar General. Last year at Dollar Tree, they had a 3 pack of Irish Spring Icy Blast soap for $1.
Yes it has a very distinguished smell known all over North America. Very good bang for you buck. Its very strong though some some people cant really handle it on their skin. Tough skin tough soap! Thanks for the comment and the view! 🧼
As a restaurant worker I personally find irish springs to be the absolute best out of dove, axe, coast, etc the smell last unlike the others after I start sweating and this combined with old spice deodorant is both nostalgic and legendary 👌

I'm from the opposite side of the world (Bangladesh). A relative of mine brought this soap from the US and gave me 2 bars.. I love the classic scent of this soap, I personally am someone who loves classic stuff.. I live in a very hot and humid weather here and i didn't have any dry skin issues or anything.. we have local brands that overall are better in many ways but to me classics have their own place.. I love your videos on soaps, I have come to learn a lot about different soaps and hope I'll give those a try.
Irish spring is just straightforward it literally knocks all the must and dirt off your skin it's especially good if you shower every other day it's really harsh on the skin but I love that non-greasy feeling in my hands and skin especially during the summertime when it's really hot and you sweat for no reason this is perfect I used to use it everyday for over 20 years as I got older I realized how much dryness it was causing so maybe I'll put a dove in there once or twice a week
Totally agree it does leave a nice feeling on the skin especially in the summer. Has you feeling fresh. As bad as it is for you there’s something exciting about taking a fresh bar of it in the shower.
Good video...have used Irish spring original for a lot of years a nice Irish spring substitute is the life brand spring fresh bar soap it's really nothing like IS original its much more on the lemon citrus side and foams up much more profusely than IS original... Steve mino over and out
I think Irish Spring has not only citrus, but also "green notes" and lots of clean musk. A cologne that smells like a more upscale/premium version of it is Jaguar for Men (the green bottle that first came out in the late 1980s).
I'm a girl. When I used it, cuz my ex did, I always got "you smell good" compliments 👍 I don't wear perfume. I'm oblivious on weather my skin dried out or not, but I'm thinking about buying it again
The smell is definitely nice. I find the one i just reviewed, irish spring moisture blast, smells better than the original. If it doesn’t bother your skin, then hey why not.

@@BarSoapManCanada i bought some yesterday, holy shit. my tattoos were severely chapped. but i did put some lotion on and its normal. it definitely gets rid of oil and dirt, probably the cleanest ive ever been. i think its a once in awhile soap. i bought the deodorant too. that shits bomb.
Any barred soap is made w/wax! It clogs the pores!! It leaves a film all over your tub & shower walls & makes it difficult to keep clean! Over time coats fiberglass w/layers of film! Use degreaser to get it off. Or a steam cleaner. Use liquid soap from now on to keep your shower free from built up wax. Your welcome!

You should try dettol anti-bacterial soap. I love it, it has dettol disinfectant in it but it leaves your skin soft
It’s amazing for my skin when I don’t use it my skin stars to look dull and it’s the best soap ever
I’m 57 been using it since 16 only downside they changed the formula feb 2022 so the scent doesn’t last as long it’s more milder
Irish Spring is my favorite smell on Earth. It’s so fresh and clean.

They're certainly nothing wrong with being clean however to take five showers within 2 days is a little much no wonder you were itchy...

Try Irish spring sport anti bacterial bar soap
4 or 5 shower's in two days will do that no matter what soap you use

They messed it up. Not the same as it was in the 90s. Scent used to last a few hours now it only last a few minutes then its gone.
