Pan, I have one to add to your list! Cleaning the windshield wiper blades. I always wipe the blade during contact wash. This can make a noticeable difference in rain and help preserve any coatings on the glass. The blades can get surprisingly filthy.
I like to think of myself as a pretty good detailer! I’ve been detailing my cars since I was 15. I’m now 53 but watching your page in the last couple of years I have added some trick to my detailing arsenal! Always enjoy your videos and look forward to many more. Thanks for enlightening us on some new trick. Great Job as usual my friend ☝️✨💦👏
I just started doing the part of the door frame I uess you would call it the iner frame I just woke up bout the as you open the door top bottom sides and the back as the trunk / hach back.
Great Tips Pan! One area that i noticed recently in a used vehicle I just purchased is the Leather bag around the shift lever on Automatic cars (when the vehicle is in any other gear other than park). When the car is in Drive that area is exposed and there is lots of dust an debris that gets neglected. This is because its never seen when the car is in park during a detail! I will make a note to shift the car into gear (with brake on of course) in order to clean this area next time.
Thanks for all the great tips! I would love to see a more detailed video on polishing. Most videos show how to polish on a big flat surface area like the hood, but it would also be helpful to see how you polish smaller areas, side mirrors, odd body panel contours, around emblems, etc.
Proud to say that I do all the things you mentioned in the video, although I do forget to lower the windows once in a while! I have to add that tomorrow, June 25, will make 1 year since I discovered your channel! Best thing ever! I'm 69 years old, have been washing the family cars since I was 10. Upon discovering you, the first detailing channel I ever saw, has changed the way I wash, clean and maintain my vehicles drastically. I used to be a 1 bucket with a sponge, etc. No more... it's the Pan the Organizer way for sure!! Thank you very much and continued success in the future...looking forward to that 1 million subscriber mark!!
As always great video pan. I like the part about decreasing the windshield, with dish soap before you use glass cleaner on it. Again something new I just learned from you, the master professional detailer ''Pan the organizer!''
Thanks Pan!! There are areas I know I don't give enough attention to, but with this video I can make mental notes for my next detail session. Also an area that could get missed is the underfloor storage in your SUV, I always vacuum it out and use an interior cleaner/detailer on it.
Yay! I am pleased that I passed the Pan the Organizer informal detailing exam. Excellent tips - all! Thank you for your continued assistance in improving my skill set - very much appreciated :)
As always great points to remember. I like to make sure all the pockets on seat backs and door panels are cleaned out. It’s amazing how much stuff gets left in. I always put the vehicle up on wood so that I can clean the whole tire. Amazing how many weekend warriors are doing just as good or better than the pros! Probably cause we are watching your great videos. Keep them coming!

Pan thanks for the reminders, as a weekend DIYer I was pretty happy I get all those areas you mentioned! I have to admit though in the past for some reason the rear gate or trunk jambs was an area I missed.
Cleaning the sunroof jam with a quality quick detailer spray and microfiber cloth and lubricate the sliders. Keep a towel spread out inside the car to catch any debris that may fall into the cabin. Great videos keep up the good work!
Great tips Pan and congratulations on 900,000 viewers! The backs of the rear view mirror is often forgotten where fingerprints tend to accumulate. Thank you for a good video!

Hey Pan.Finally got the opportunity to use my new Rigid Compressor with my Tornador cleaning tool. Thanks for the video that lead me to this compressor and I just couldn’t wipe the smile from my face. I also used the enzyme cleaner from Tornador. Made the cleanup spectacular. I can now just do regular maintenance with P&S Express Interior cleaner. Just awesome. And great tips btw.Till the next one.
Hi Pan, Since watching your channel for about a year now. I have learned most of the tips you mention today. I did miss a few like tail pipes. I was actually happy when the first one was door jams which I do now regularly. All I have to do is use a APC and microfiber towel. Yea a little spritz and wipe there you are done. As always thank you for all that you do in helping us maintain our vehicles. By the way from a DIY'er I now have my first detailing job and ceramic coating.
The gas cap, wiper blades and arms and the window trim are by far the most neglected part of vehicles outside the pedals and seat belts connectors on the inside. Pan the Man! you're the best 👍
Hi Pan. I'm just a weekend warrior but it is those hard to reach areas that get neglected. Like the inside parts next to the front seats. You have to move the seats front to back and back again to clean the carpets. We all know those parts when something falls there and you can't get your hand in. I always say to myself - no one knows it's dirty there, or other hidden parts, but I know it is dirty. And you can't fool yourself.
For the pedals I clean with an apc/degreaser first then I use chemical guys rubber floor mat renew. This ensures they are thoroughly clean and revived back to that oem look without being unsafe or slippery. It doesn't compromise safety and it looks much better than without the chemical guys rubber floor mat renew. I would definitely recommend
Great video with useful tips. My nomination for an area that people often forget? The front scuttle around the base of the windscreen wipers! Oh, and the wiper arms themselves.
I tend to watch Pan for detail advice and feel his suggestions and techniques really improve my detailing skills.I have watched him for several years and find him to be a true asset! I feel the way he explains things really helps to grasp the concept he is discussing. Some people can do but not teach,I'm glad he can do both very well.👍
I loved your tips on this one! When you said trunk jambs that reminds me of a common area missed on bigger SUVs like Tahoe and Yukon which is the SECOND hatch jamb. A lot of people get the main one but they forget the little button that actually opens the glass to reveal a second jamb or area dirt looooves to get trapped in 😊 keep up the good videos 🤝🏼
It's great to see Rick from RAD Garage on your video. The first time I saw him was about three years ago on your channel, when he was detailing a red Audi RS5. We have four Audi's in our family, so I instantly liked him.
Excellent tips! Growing up in Upstate New York I learned at a very early age to pay attention to the door and trunk and wheel wells like you mentioned. The reason however was rust prevention. that's where a lot of debris including road salt accumulated causing the vehicle to RUST😢 So nice cars are better protected now And moved to the desert Southwest🌞
Excellent content as always Pan. Thank you and keep up the great work. One area I imagine some people neglect or don’t think about is between the rear glass and interior brake lamp. On some cars, these can be easily removed and reinstalled after cleaning.
Thanks for the tips on areas commonly missed. I’m glad to say I am 12 for 12 in my daily detailing. I would like to add that the hood channels and cowl can remain dirty and full of debris on many vehicles. I added it to my routine a couple years ago and generally use the pressure washer to blast out the channels. Thanks for all your advice!
Thank you so much Pan for all your guidance and support..plz guide when to clean engine bay ,i mean before the whole car wash or after.. thank you once again...Our very Own Pan the Legend 🇨🇦
Thanks! You would clean the engine bay first, and then wash the rest of your car after. That way, any grease from the engine bay that splashes on your paint will be cleaned when you wash the car.

0:54 true but look at the water spilling to the interior!😆 as a DIYer, I discovered this myself but spraying door jambs just not advisable. simply wipe it with a damp cloth. areas that can be cleaned or reached don't matter as common people don't notice it anyway.

Great video Pan. The other three areas I find often missed when a client brings their car to me are the scuttle in front of the windscreen, the roof gutters and the rubber trim at the bottom of the side windows - particularly if the car lives outside near a tree or bushes.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks for all the tips and reviews, it’s really helped me in developing my business and RUclips content @detaileddriven over the last 12 months. You are my go to channel when I need advice on products and techniques.

@@PanTheOrganizerThanks for your reply, I think I was looking up some reviews on certain shampoos. I've just recently tried Turtle wax colour correction. I drive a white Ford and wanted the white to pop or whiter if u know what I mean. In still in the process of paint correction busy with Polishing with an abrasive compound. But with work and family it's taking longer than usual. Next on my shopping list is the Turtle wax ceramic spray so will see. Thanks again for your hard work and time u take to make these videos.Regards.
Thanks for the video! I USED to miss areas. I solved it by creating a checklist of things I missed on past details. EVERY item on your video was missed by me on past details until I came up with the list. Two areas I missed in the past: behind the front seats and lower part of steering column under the dash. Since I own a Subaru Outback station wagon not having a rear deck, I have a note to detail the rear deck (pulling a detailed sedan out of the garage and noticing the rear deck wasn’t touched gets me to utter a few foul words!).
I like to clean the inside of the windscreen wiper arm, the bit with the spring. I apply trim dressing in there (car pro perl) and when your driving and can see the inside shining and dark black, it looks good. Great video pan.
Great tips! When I do the inside of my vehicle I tend to forget the cargo area. I wish I had all day to do my SUV . I have to divide it up onto 2 to 3 days
Great video. I have been using the technique on the front windshield since you posted it a while back. Dawn dish soap is the best . And the squeeze works great. Thanks for all the tips .
I've noticed one area that people tend to overlook is the narrow space between the front seats and the floor. I suspect that's because it's hard to reach by hand and also because nozzles on the vacuums at car washes are too large to get into those areas. Not to mention, most car owners don't have vacuums just for cleaning their cars. I washed my car late yesterday and as I was inspecting it this morning, I noticed that I hadn't gotten the area around the car's letters as clean as I should have. Took care of it asap upon noticing. Admittedly, I've never cleaned the tailpipe. I can't see it on the car, but I know it has one. Otherwise, I do get the other areas that you mentioned. Cool video, by the way!
I used to always forget the area between my pickup cab and bed. It's amazing the amount of debris that gets in there. I use a long Rag Company wheel brush with the interchangeable sleeves to scrub down there.
Thanks Pan ! You have helped and motivated so many enthusiastic like myself to up our car grooming game. It amazing to see ur detailed work and simple instructions. You have surely made my wife happy by savings and irritated at same time as I spent more time cleaning 😂😂😂

Thanks for the tips. On the other hand... Have you think about to wrap some parts of your cars? For example: 1- I consider that you can wrap the mirror side in High Gloss Black 2- The Aleron Spoiler in High Gloss Black 3- Turn in smoke black your headlights... 4- Put a Tint in all glass. I guess 50% smoke. This tuning I consider will do your car looks much more amazing and sport
You deserve all the subscribers. I used the summon feature on my Tesla to move the car backward to dress the bottom of the tires. 😁 No exhaust to clean. ✌🏼
Don’t forget the sunroof and moonroof glass.. Nice to see Rad Garage Rick in your video. Looked like Allan from Am detail products as well. Great video enjoyed that. 👌🏻🇨🇦
Great tips .... as usual. I'd add the wiper blades (front and back), steering wheel, shifter knob & boot, entertainment screen is a dust magnet, chrome interior door handles, rearview mirror? I'd like to think I catch all the ones you mentioned minus the vanity mirrors in the sun visors.

The only area not mentioned and I don't always have time or tools for is behind the license plate. As always, your car looks dripping wet and stunning in the background, what a looker she is❤
Wow. So close to 1 million. I remember the days when your videos discussed household budgeting or how to effectively clean out your clothes dryer! Let's have a big online party when you hit 1 million! Pan, can you recommend an affordable car lift for novice detailers, other than the super expensive ones sold by Obsessed Garage.
Great video Pan!! One area that may accumulate soils like the inside of the windshield is the inside of the sunroof glass. I appreciate the other tips as I just detailed my parents SUV and almost forgot the door jams.
Nice video! I think I do almost all of them minus the air vents. You could also consider the door pockets and/or the area between the front seats and console.
Thx for great tips!!! things that must to renember: the console between the two front chairs, The areas under the seats - I always forget to vacuum there properly, I recently discovered that there is a lot of dust and dirt on all the plastics of the electrical systems under the front seats, for those that have a common trunk with the passenger compartment like in Mazda, Toyota, etc. - dust always accumulates on the plastics that are between These two areas. Another tip is the rear window that has an anti-fog system - we should always clean it well and carefully
A tip for those who don't want to use a pressure washer or sprayer on door jambs: to keep water out of the interior, try a waterless wash (Pan has reviewed several) in a pump sprayer. Agitate with a brush and/or wipe with a microfiber towel...

I would like to add that the hood channels and cowl can remain dirty and full of debris on many vehicles. I added it to my routine a couple years ago and generally use the pressure washer to blast out the channels. Thanks for all your advice!
Thanks for sharing!
glad i am on point. Also cleaning the engine bay rim under hood is also a key note.
Great tip!
In our process's we assess these areas first! Great video
Awesome! Thank you!
Excellent video. I am not a professional detailer, but I have learned quite a lot from your tips and tricks videos.
Great to hear! Thanks Keith. How did you discover my channel by the way?

Thanks! Saturday’s video will be a good one!
All these are perfect items to include but not every time do they need the attention on a quick clean. Pan , I do appreciate this topic, it is a pop quiz
👍🏻
I've been detailing my cars for a little over 30 years now and I don't remember when was the last time I detailed the pedals! Lol wow thank u pan. I said I'll check it out while i wash dishes to see if i can learn anything and bam! 😊
Heheh thanks Ramon! You'll always learn new things by watching my videos! :) Where are you from by the way? Cheers from Montreal, Canada!

Cool !!
Great video On fundamentals, Pan. I learned to do the exhaust tips differently than I’ve been doing.
Thanks!
Boy do I have a lot of work to do now!!! Except for the door jams, I think I missed every other one ... Great video!
Have fun!
Another great video pan! Keep them coming.
Thanks Todd! Will do!
Thank you very much Pan! Your advices are always welcome. Of course I'm on the list with a couple of mistakes. Greetings from Chile. Take care!!

0:54 true but look at the water spilling to the interior!😆 as a DIYer, I discovered this myself but spraying door jambs just not advisable. simply wipe it with a damp cloth. areas that can be cleaned or reached don't matter as common people don't notice it anyway.
Hey Pan, another spot i like to do is the glove box sides when opened the inside, and the sunglasses compartment, thanks for the videos.
Thanks Tony! How did you discover my channel?

Great video Pan. The other three areas I find often missed when a client brings their car to me are the scuttle in front of the windscreen, the roof gutters and the rubber trim at the bottom of the side windows - particularly if the car lives outside near a tree or bushes.
Good point!
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks for all the tips and reviews, it’s really helped me in developing my business and RUclips content @detaileddriven over the last 12 months. You are my go to channel when I need advice on products and techniques.
Hi Pan,
Great video.👍 I always notice other people's cars when they neglect the inside of the fuel filler flap, bonnet and boot shuts. My Scooby has pillarless doors, so don't have to worry about dropping the windows. Another areas I like to keep clean as they can be seen, are the rear diff endplate and back box which is stainless steel. Both are polished to a shine.
Keep up the great work. I always enjoy your videos.👍😎
All the best, John.🙂
Thanks John!

Thank you for the kind words!
Congrats on the growth Pan! And thanks for the tips
You are so welcome!
Well said!
I like to clean the inside of the windscreen wiper arm, the bit with the spring. I apply trim dressing in there (car pro perl) and when your driving and can see the inside shining and dark black, it looks good. Great video pan.
Thanks Stephen!
Great reminders thanks Pan.
Glad you like them!
Great tips! When I do the inside of my vehicle I tend to forget the cargo area. I wish I had all day to do my SUV . I have to divide it up onto 2 to 3 days
Thanks!
Great video. I have been using the technique on the front windshield since you posted it a while back. Dawn dish soap is the best . And the squeeze works great. Thanks for all the tips .
That is awesome!
Well done Pan !!
Thanks!
Thanks for another informative and helpful video
Glad it was helpful!
The side mirrors! Best regards from London, UK!
Great tips as always. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
I used to always forget the area between my pickup cab and bed. It's amazing the amount of debris that gets in there. I use a long Rag Company wheel brush with the interchangeable sleeves to scrub down there.
Thanks! I learned a lot from this video
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Pan ! You have helped and motivated so many enthusiastic like myself to up our car grooming game. It amazing to see ur detailed work and simple instructions. You have surely made my wife happy by savings and irritated at same time as I spent more time cleaning 😂😂😂

@@PanTheOrganizer your channel is amazing I've been ur subscriber since 2020 . I discovered you channel by browsing and followed you due to consistency and easy of instructions. The only issue is in NZ we have limited products + they are expensive. Hope this changes in near future.. hey btw, have you made any video on how to fix crack leather ?
Thanks for all the kind words. I don't do leather restoration, but experts at Colourlock do, check out their channel: ruclips.net/video/5vbVm2sQsT4/видео.html
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks Pan that helped.. the video was quite impressive. Hey lastly, how to get rid of wax from plastic trims please? Have u got any video on that too?
Cannot remember the last time I cleaned the vanity mirrors in my car or my wife's. GREAT TIP!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the tips.
On the other hand... Have you think about to wrap some parts of your cars?
For example:
1- I consider that you can wrap the mirror side in High Gloss Black
2- The Aleron Spoiler in High Gloss Black
3- Turn in smoke black your headlights...
4- Put a Tint in all glass. I guess 50% smoke.
This tuning I consider will do your car looks much more amazing and sport
You deserve all the subscribers. I used the summon feature on my Tesla to move the car backward to dress the bottom of the tires. 😁
No exhaust to clean. ✌🏼
That’s a cool feature!
Another great video. I’m looking forward to your 2023 “Best Product Awards”. Hopefully even more categories will be added.
It will be the best one ever this year!
Which categories would you like to see added?
Taking notes on these! Thanks pan
You're so welcome!
Don’t forget the sunroof and moonroof glass.. Nice to see Rad Garage Rick in your video. Looked like Allan from Am detail products as well. Great video enjoyed that. 👌🏻🇨🇦
Thanks!
Thanks Alex!
Dude they would laugh at me at the fire station when I would wash door jams. Love the channel bro
I appreciate that. They shouldn't be laughing too hard, as you're likely the one with the cleanest car at the fire station. Am I right? ;)

The only area not mentioned and I don't always have time or tools for is behind the license plate. As always, your car looks dripping wet and stunning in the background, what a looker she is❤
😁👍🏻
Another great video there Pan
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for your continued support!
Super useful tips Pan, fantastic video!
Glad it was helpful!
@@PanTheOrganizer Absolutely👍🏻❤️
Pan is such a legend
Thanks for the support man!
Great video Pan!! One area that may accumulate soils like the inside of the windshield is the inside of the sunroof glass.
I appreciate the other tips as I just detailed my parents SUV and almost forgot the door jams.
Thanks Adam!
Nice video! I think I do almost all of them minus the air vents. You could also consider the door pockets and/or the area between the front seats and console.
Thanks!
I would definitely think people forget about the door jams and the petals. Great video pan!! 👊🇨🇦
Thanks!
Thanks, a good check list. Place always missed, seat rail.
Glad you liked it!
👍🏻
Good stuff Pan-Man…thought I was the only one who pushed the vehicle enough to get the rest of the tire! 😆
Thanks!
Awesome video and tips! And thanks for the Canadian links 😁👍
You bet!
Yup, i do All of that to my car. But my exhaust pipes are Big enough for me to stick my hand in. That's my perfect way of cleaning them..AWEsome!!
A tip for those who don't want to use a pressure washer or sprayer on door jambs: to keep water out of the interior, try a waterless wash (Pan has reviewed several) in a pump sprayer. Agitate with a brush and/or wipe with a microfiber towel...
Pan mentioned the same--I just wanted to bring it to the fore....
👍🏻

Excellent as always Whats the smallest compressor you can use for a Tornador style air cleaner thank you

Great tips because as you said It’s All About The Details 💯

I like to clean the leather skirt at the base of the center console gear shifter. It tends to gather dust.
Same for the cup holders in the center console.
Thanks!
