Poisoning both Yuthura and Uthar - The Double-Double-Cross
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 10 июл 2022
- During your search for the Star Map on Korriban you have to enroll into the Sith Academy and Yuthura Ban ropes you into a scheme to kill her master, Uthar Wynn. In this video I'll show you what happens to play both sides and double cross them both by poison.
Big special thank you goes out to Primal Pattern for showing and suggesting this to me.

Big shout outs to Primal Pattern for showing and suggesting this one. If anyone else has any ideas on scenes they want to see, you can leave those suggestions in reply to this.
One suggestion I have that after 18 years I still forget how to do is avoid getting dark side points when you commit to fighting Bendak. I know it requires some extra steps and I think you can even get light side points in some cases.
@@jmcgin1453 Hm, I'll have to look into it.
Influence Gained: Kreia
Indeed.
True
@@PapitoQinn i mean, she _was_ his master at his point
@@thomasboland540 At what point? During the events of KoTOR 1?
I can literally hear her saying:
Well maneuvered! By poisoning them both, you have ensured that YOU will be the one to decide the outcome for the struggle of power at the Sitch Academy
*does the most sith thing* Yathura and Uthar: "You will never be a sith now!" Revan: "Bruh"
exactly! Like wtf a true sith would never take orders from someone they know they can easily beat and betray
My headcanon is Revan just standing there listening and slowly cracking a goofy smile as the scene goes on.
I guess Revan wears a mask to make up for a poor poker face.
Foreal seeing theese 2 argue when its so obvious i betrayed them both i wish there was a option to thorw the fire Grenade and melt the ice seeing them burn alive would please me very well😈may the dark side be with you
Tamara Phillips as Yuthara Ban is one of the unsung highlights of KOTOR's voice Cast in my opinion.
I thought it was Tamara Phillips who voiced Yuthura, or was that a pseudonym for Lori Alan?
@@sambridgers9543 I must have misread a Credits list.
I'm surprised there isn't an option to tell them that you don't need their affirmation to be a sith. A true sith needs not the praise of weaklings or fools
Very true. They want to be infamous, not famous.
All hail Lord Revan
There is if you're Darkside. "I'm a true Sith and the academy is mine now."
I want to see this in a video, the Sith response. I was too LS in my last playthrough at that moment to get it. Funny how railroaded KOTOR 1 is. I am LS just because I defend the helpless and am not a jerk to everyone I see, but suddenly I'm DS because I oppose the Jedi and the Republic. Typical.
I love doing this on a Darkside run.
It's a pity you can't take over the academy. You'd think after the 2000th body the academy students and staff would realize you're the rightful Master, even more so if you claim to be Revan reborn.
I love doing this on LS runs. It's pragmatic to wipe out as many Sith as possible.
That's not part of a lightside run. Jedi don't kill, it's why you can reform Yuthura.
I think that's just a psychotic Republic Nationalist run.
They were all too weak and stupid anyway to become true sith
There always must be a Darth Traya indeed.
If Kreia was hear she would probably say something like "Perfectly executed with both Yuthara and Uthar weakened and relying on your aid, you can influence the outcome however you see fit and you will have an advantage no matter what."
"Kill Trevor, then kill Michael."
1:30 me IRL when I try to speak up
Bastila: "That-"
The PC/Revan: "QUIET!!!"
Funny, now that I think about it, even if inaccessible. Also, submissive slave Jolee is super weird.
It's also the funniest too lol.
I love how Jolee says "master". Even in a galaxy far, far away, he knows his place.
I never knew you could do this. Thanks for showing me this.
You're very welcome.
Talk to characters more. Explore options.
I love this so much, beating the Sith at their own game
I remember doing this. I remember being an absolute god against both of them. I also remember being so op that I didn't even need to poison them and still destroyed them. Man I miss being 8
So I found out completely on accident in my last playthrough that if you start this, telling both, but doing neither of their betrayal tasks, and still siding with Master Uthar, then afterwards he says that it is time for you to die.
"What? But I passed your test!"
Then he says that there's no telling how far your plotting with Yuthura had gone, and that he has a new class coming tomorrow.
This is foreshadowed in the tomb when the dialogue before the test changes twice. "So you know, do you?" It makes no difference, or something.
Special thanks to the likes of Revolver Ocelot for giving us this overly complex yet downright cathartic way to eliminate both annoyances to the situation.
Another MGS fan, huh? Where did Ocelot pull something like this off, again?
@@sambridgers9543 Every game he's in, but the most noticeable example would be MGS2: Sons of Liberty.
@@michaelandreipalon359 I know Ocelot is a magnificent bastard, so it was difficult to narrow down what you were referencing in particular.
Every single action he did in that game, ranging from betraying Gurlukovich, Solidus Snake, and, more covertly, the Patriots even. And don't forget the subtle moments of him actually assisting Raiden and co..
1:30 with the Johnny Lawrence "quiet" toward Bastila.
I didn't even know this was a thing. Awesome
Am I the only one who on first playthrough went to Korriban as first planet, then proceeded to get killed by Ordo for 40 minutes and then challenged both sith ? ( And proceeded to get killed for another 30 minutes )
truly a rememberable experience for me
Sure as hell subscribed. I've played this game over 150 times. Based ytber
Thanks, homie!
I didn’t know about this. You can also turn Yuthura to the good side if you pass some speech checks and learn about her past.
Yes and if you use warp codes to bring Jolee and Juhani with you when you do it they have dialogue that's still in the game. You can see them here: ruclips.net/video/hwhH4EbkUhg/видео.html
This is my favorite option in this scenario - upend the leadership of the academy and then wipe out the students in lightsaber combat afterwards!
I remember doing this a while back lol
I literally do it every playthrough
I loved doing this as a pure evil Dark Side Revan.
Well jee wiz. I didn't know I could poison them. Would have made that last 2-4 play throughs 15 years ago easier.
The more you know!
1:30 - That...
Even on dark side runs I don't do this so I gotta settle for this. Actually, ESPECIALLY on dark side runs I never would! I must test these fools at their full strength!
10:15 when i got to this part I just 2v1'd they were no match for light side tank revan dual wielding lightsabers with the heavy strike mastered
Hey, i just finished kotor 2 and aiming to buy a kotor 1. Question: is it somehow different or better than kotor 2? I heard that its not made by obsidian so dialogues and lore looks bit different. Is it true?
It's a great game. It's made by Bioware and it's more of a "traditional" star wars story, as people would say. I would have recommended you play it first. But in terms of dialogue and tone it's different.
@@PapitoQinn by saying its more "traditional", do you mean less of personal choices we can make as a character?
@@jakubberel9125 nah, KOTOR 1 is more of your traditional "Good vs. Evil", Hero's journey storyline.
KOTOR 2 is more of a "what is good and evil?". A dissection of the traditional SW tropes. Some truly wonderful characters
@@davidbuckley2435 tell me, do you know more games like kotor 2?
@@jakubberel9125 I mean it's more a Joseph Campbell style hero's journey.
