Wow! Another beautiful find guys! I love the contrast of the red rocks with the blue water. This part of Chile and so stunning! Another reason for us to go back!
Hey guys, your excitement to share this destination with us really shined in this episode 💕 it really is a unique part of the world. I like your description of the grass and smiled at the thought of trolls running around at night 😆 That salt flat really did look like ice!
Hi, Channel and host couple, What a stunning landscape of Alta Cama Desert and it's saltplan. Absolutely beautiful place, equally beautifully captured by cameras. It's seems just as walking on moon. Chilean roads are good, so driving through is also great experience. Thanks to driver Craig and Nissan Kicks. The only thing the National Parks fees are very high. Nevertheless, beauty has a price. Good Luck. Looking forward to Channel, so keep on traveling, safely.
It is a beautiful and scenic driver for sure, but yes the prices in Chile are a little high for entry to these parks but after visiting we would say they are worth it, so unique to see! Thank you for your lovely words, we will keep up the travels and keep on sharing ☺
Decided to take another trip to Argentina and Chile this year. Your videos were helpful to me last year in BA, Iguazu, and El Calafate. Looking forward to Chile and some northern Argentina. Thanks again for all the tips. You guys are awesome!! ❤
The currency exchange is normal in Chile just like anywhere else, just withdraw cash from a regular ATM or pay on card in shops/restaurants. It is only Argentina (of the countries we visited in SA) that have the official/unofficial rate.
What a beautiful video, a hug from a Chilean friend, nice how you comment on your videos, and how they are amazed by everything, and it feels very real Que hermoso video, un abrazo de un amigo chileno, lindo como comentas tus videos, y como alucinan con todo, y se siente muy real

Unbelievable places in this beautiful planet that unfortunately one day will no longer be.
It’s an incredible place that we all get to call home 🌎
Thanks!

Hi @TideKnotTravellers how many nights did ye spend in the San pedro de atacama area?
We did 5 nights in San Pedro which was a good amount of time to see the main sights.
How is the currency exchange / cash situation in Chile as compared to Argentina?
The currency exchange is normal in Chile just like anywhere else, just withdraw cash from a regular ATM or pay on card in shops/restaurants. It is only Argentina (of the countries we visited in SA) that have the official/unofficial rate.
