Thanks so much for watching you lovely people!😊 If you liked the video, please give it a thumbs up👍🏼 it’s the easiest way for you to help our channel and means the world to us, see you on the next one!
I´m glad you continue to enjoy these landscapes!! I Watch all yours videos, and at the same time I practice my English. Greetings from Bahía Blanca , Argentina !!
These days are what we live for! This is what we travel for! Well said and can't agree more! Love penguins and also know how smelly they are ahahah It seems so cold over there but still worth to visit and worth for every penny - the tour doesnt sound too expensive! OMG the views from your hike are INCREDIBLE! I cant even imagine how beautiful it looks in person, stunning!
We have found the tours to be pretty well priced when using the unofficial rate, really helps 😊 the views are seriously mind blowing it’s the kind of place I feel everyone needs to experience at least once in life, it’s awe inspiring just standing there 🤩
Beautiful guys! Your experience on Penguin Island truly looks amazing! The penguins really do look adorable and full of personality. Love your drone shots on the hike. Such amazing views!
What a fantastic experience that must have been to be so close to those penguins 🐧. Very good filming of them. And looked an amazing place that Laguna Esmerelda. As always great filming and narration.
What an epic day, guys. So happy that the weather continued to work out in your favor. The Penguin island tour was an absolute bargain and the lagoon looked so peaceful. That milky blue color is so unique! It's gonna be hard for you to top this day!
What a dream that would have been to see all of the penguins!! I would absolutely love to do that tour. Thats crazy that there is a home in the ozone layer there and impacting your skin... hope you brought some spf. Seems like a beautiful hike and the weather looked great for it as well. Incredible drone footage and scenery 😍😍
We loved every minute of this day so much! Yes we had SPF on and still got a bit of wind burn/sun burn, weather is a different beast in this part of the world! 😅
That surely Look like The End - FIN DEL MUNDO of The World - nice and peaceful ! There IS an NHL Ice hockey Team called Pittsburgh PA Penguins - and They just yesterday lost ( at game 7 ) to New York Rangers ! The FANS Are Real dissapointed - but I am Quite sure that They never Have seen Real Penguins ! I keep watching - what happens NEXT ! Greetings All The Way from Tallinn Estonia !
Pittsburgh PA Penguins should contact the Ushuaia Ice Hockey teams, there's a lot in the city, they organise the "Copa Fin del Mundo" (End of the World Cup) tournament, maybe they could teach the teams in Ushuaia (mostly in amateurism and unexperienced). Greetings !! !!
Your smiles and excited looks on your faces said it all…looked like the experience of a lifetime! Interesting that there are two different types of penguins on the same island. They definitely are the most photogenic 😅 You guys are going to have to come to Boulders Beach in Cape Town!! You’ll love the penguins there, and you can even swim with them in the sea 😅 Great that a meal was included in the ticket price, love when that happens 🤗 Straight into a hike from the penguins…you really know how to make the most out of your time 👌 wow! Your drone footage on the hike is stunning, especially like the shot circling you guys 🤩
We will definitely be heading to Boulders beach someday to see another of the 18 species. So strange seeing them somewhere warm though as we always associate penguins with cold weather. Yeh we were squeezing in the hike as we had the afternoon free and also our tour bus was going right past the start of the hike so saved us paying for a taxi from Ushuaia out to it. It was stunning scenery, we’re so glad to be able to show it through the drone shots, best way to share what we were looking at, it’s incredible!
@@TideKnotTravellers lol, the Cape Town ocean is freeeezing though 😅 but so worth the experience of swimming with them penguins 🐧But I’m sure the water isn’t quite as cold as there in Argentina
Martillo Island is also home to one couple of king penguins who have been nesting there since a couple of years ago. I did this same tour a few months before you and there was one of them, standing tall in the middle of the gentoo penguin colony.
I have friends in Patagonia right now and found your video. I was there about 20 years ago and Ushuaia has changed so much. Enjoyed the video a lot and have subscribed. I don’t know your names, but the female looks so much like Australian actress Asher Keddie although she is a bit older now. Check her out. Offspring is a great TV series that she did.
Thank you for your lovely comment, hope your friends are having a great time in Patagonia, it’s the best time of year for it! I looked up Asher Keddie and first of all thank you, it’s a huge compliment and secondly Craig agreed about the resemblance. I hope I can look that good when I get to her age ☺️
Awesome video - thanks for sharing! I noticed that nobody on Isla Martillo seems to have regular cameras and are only using their phones for photos/videos. Are cameras allowed on the island???
Thank you, we're glad you liked it. Cameras are allowed on the island, we filmed this video with our main camera, guess most people just seemed to only bring their phones.
Important question: what are the toilet facilities like? We’re older and need to use the toilet frequently. Just need to have an idea how we can join the tour to Penguin island.
I HAVE SEEN YOUR ENTIRE ADVENTURE IN ARGENTINA, YOU WILL BE OUR AMBASSADORS AND MANY MORE WILL COME TO KNOW OUR BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY. THERE ARE MANY PLACES IN ARGENTINA WITHOUT KNOWING, WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU SOON FOR THE SECOND PART, GREETINGS FROM BUENOS AIRES 👍
It is difficult, booking anything online in advance in Argentina is not easy. We arrived in Ushuaia and walked straight into town and booked the tours we wanted to do. We show them in our videos as this is the only place you can book this specific tour to walk with wild penguins. We paid in cash and booked our place for two days later. It is the most straightforward way to do things in Argentina.
Hello, I want to tell you that in Patagonia up to Tierra del Fuego there are many families of English origin, and they raise sheep to get their wool and sometimes to eat them, I tell you that in the province of Chubut, there is the largest colony of Welsh, He was in the town of Gaiman drinking Welsh tea, the Welsh settled in Chubut on the day of July 28, 1865
Yes, we knew there was only one and that space would be limited so we went to the office on our first day and booked it for a few days later then planned everything else around it.
Thanks so much for watching you lovely people!😊

Nice, in Galapagos you can even swim with them ❤

Aconsejo, Puerto Madryn, es más cercano y además ofrece avistaje de ballenas
We definitely wanted to see that but our route didn’t allow it, it’s on our list for a future trip for sure! 🐋
