What a story for that particular mx5
Hi, my dad has a red mk1 in his garage which he’s had since I was knee high to a grass hopper and last year he finally let me drive it! I only put my foot down on the straights as I’ve done enough to disappoint my dad without smashing his pride and joy up! It wasn’t fast but it’s all about that feeling and that buzz it gives ya! And yes I would super charge it if ya wondering 😂😂😂

I do love Mk1s, dad's on his third and I wouldn't mind one myself!

Quality video. In 1999 I bought a H reg mx5 1.6 BBR Turbo. I don't know yhe exact hp but it would piss all over the 1.8s. The BBR Turbo kit was available from new at the dealers with the mazda warranty. A great 'drivers' car 👌

I have a hardtop for it and the head room is better than the soft top so I think Daniel would fit (just) as he is quite tall hahahaha

As long as you have control, that’s all that matters.
No power steering , and casual driving means you have to hold it odd on occasion 😂
