  • I review the Titan TTB 705 BDS 80mm bandsaw that I bought from ScrewFix 6 months ago and say what is good and what is bad about it and whether I would buy it if I had my time again.
Here is a link to a video of me cutting a very large shape, proving that the throat size can be worked around pretty easily • IOM Clock cutting

I have the same machine and I do use it a lot. Mainly as a quick means of sawing smaller pieces. Apart from the issues you mention my biggest gripe is how difficult it is to set up for resawing. I've tried several different blade sizes and adjusted all the various possibilities but I can't prevent blade drift when using the fence. I can cut fairly straight without the fence but I always allow a little extra that has to be planed off.
Still for the price it's a useful if limited machine.

I totally agree, I always get blade drift when using the fence, but having said that, I also seem to get the same issues with my 14 inch Lumberjack bandsaw so just assumed that it was my technique!

Is this good for cutting hardwoods for charcuterie boards?

Hi there, I have cut hardwood on this before and the bandsaw will have no problem with it, but you just need to make sure you get a decent blade.
