Thank you. I look forward to the next video for setting up the bandsaw.
Thank you for watching 👍 the video is coming out this Friday
Great intro' to the world of bandsaws. I've got the humble Aldi Workzone 8 inch bandsaw that I picked up for £49. I have to be honest, I've not really used it that much, as it is a real swine to set up correctly. Replacing the blade last year, really made a difference. I guess, with the cost of material nowadays, I have been a bit skittish about trashing my dwindling supply of hardwood if the blade goes on walkabout, as is its want. Once again, thanks for taking the time to share!👍
Thanks, Hmm I'm actually glad I've invested in this bandsaw I got. Although I wish now I even went for the 14inch version. Fortunately I got a healthy stack of hardwood, although I'm struggling with sheet materials. That's why I'm taking down old cupboards, beds etc to at least get some veneered chip board for some projects 🤣
Another great video thanks Tomasz
Thank you kindly
It's a strange world now ,tools are now cheaper than the wood we are cutting😂.Another good video .
Haha absolutely right 👍🤣
Thanks Tomasz 👍. Perfect timing for me too. My new saw needs proper setting up so I'm looking forward to the next video.
Cool👍😁
Video out this Friday 👍
I would like to have one as I'd like to make a bandsaw box.
Never done a box like that yet to be honest I need to have a go at it 🤔
Hi Tomasz just bought a table top bandsaw myself it’s assembled but needs setting so found the video helpful as always, When it stops raining in the UK might be able to try it out as my shed is full and need a bigger one (much bigger! ) anyway look forward to the next vid 👍
A bandsaw is a great tool to have. This Friday I'm posting a video on how to tune up a bandsaw, change the blade and set it up correctly 👍
Very good this Tomasz, as an introduction to the bandsaw, covers all I need to know. Looking forward to the next installment.
Thanks, video out this Friday 😁👍
Bardzo praktyczne tutoriale. dziekuje i pozdrawiam
Dzieki wielkie i pozdrawiam 👍
A thorough overview Thomasz. I love the bandsaw and agree it’s a very versatile tool. It is a relatively safe tool but still needs to be used with great care especially when cutting smaller pieces (I have followed through with my thumb but was very lucky to get away with a shallow cut only). I look forward to the bandsaw tuning video. Cheers 👍😎🇦🇺
Thanks, yes like with any tool you need to pay attention to what you're doing 👍
Good overview Tomasz, my Rutlands bandsaw has a lot of similar features to yours, but smaller capacity. Currently the LED lamp keeps flashing like a strobe, so need to get that fixed. Looking forward to part 2 👍
Yes they are all usually very similar, video coming out this Friday 😁👍
Great video, I thought the size (10 inch or 250mm) referred to the wheel size, so slightly more than the throat ?
Depends on the saw but yes its usually larger than the depth of cut
Great video again Tomasz but you really do need a new blade in that saw 🤦♂️
It looked like it was burning it’s way through the wood 😂
Hehe it was lol. New blade on and video ready to be published on Friday 👍
That’s better 👍 Good man 😀
Hi, I notice that you have noise reducing foam on your door. Do they work?
Hi, I do have a video on this so you can check it out here - ruclips.net/video/Vc5BtZopW-A/видео.htmlsi=7Z7cl44q-bHlb7yR
As a budget option (IMHO) the Titan bandsaw from Screwfix is a good option, adding an Axminster fence absolutely transforms the saw (in terms of accuracy) into a very capable machine, the fences always seem to be the weak point on budget bandsaws, as with any bandsaw at this price point also allow for a decent quality blade, 'Tuffsaw' blades are really great I have found
I have to say all the Titan tools are decent quality. I got the pillar drill and the jointer/ thicknesser.
Interesting video. Thanks for sharing. How much does this band saw cost? I followed the link in the description box, but it is sold out.
Thanks, I had it for few years now and I bought it for around £300 now I think its around £400
It's way too small.. Minimum 12" Minimum one horsepower.. I had a 10" I outgrew it within one year and was frustrated with it. Now I have a grizzly 17" 2 horsepower. Very happy with it you are very unlimited with it.
your saw blade has no more teeth😇
Hehe I think you may be right. A new lovely blade in now👍
