I’d be really surprised if this is the entire roster. There’s a lot of front runners that aren’t included in this list that would be great picks for this game. Ms. Marvel or Captain Marvel feel like obvious additions, as well as the Spider-Man villains mentioned in the video. Jean Grey/Phoenix feels like a great pick, more X-Men in general should be added to fill out the roster, I’d love to see Nightcrawler, Cyclops, Gambit or Rogue. I’ve seen people mention Ghost Rider as well which would be great, Daredevil and Luke Cage also aren’t mentioned and I think more Defenders would be awesome in the game, especially with the addition of Iron Fist.
I also hope to see characters like white tiger wraith prowler etc playable eventually I'm OK waiting months to years as long as they end up in the game
I feel like Ghost Rider is a missed opportunity. Imagine him being like a stance character where he could switch between on foot and on his bike. He could use his chain and shotgun with hellfire for some sick abilities.
Possible Villains: Apocalypse, Mr. Sinister, The High Evolutionary, Stryfe, Carnage, Omega Red, Juggernaut, Blackheart, Kang the Conqueror, Thanos ( as you mentioned)... There are so many to choose from. I definitely agree that the devs should look to buff their list of playable villains. Also, on a personal note, I would love to see Blue Marvel, and/or Everett Thomas (Synch), added as characters at some point, if the game goes live.

I wanted to say I read the list and notably, 1012 and 1013 are absent from this list. Imo it means thens are characters that were some of the earliest ones in development that are either finished and being kept out of the files on purpose or they were scrapped and they are looking for ideas on how to make them work in the game. Because they were so early on in development, we can assume they are pretty notable characters. Some that come to mind are Cyclops, Captain Marvel, Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Ms Marvel, literally any of the other xmen and then some villains.
Task Master, Omega Red, Mister Sinister, or even Shadow King would be cool additions on the villainy side. Getting Iron Fist means we will get Luke Cage at some point as they teamed up a lot and the understated element of the game is hero combinations. The Game needs Nightcrawler though...

This definitely isn't all the characters. Ghost Rider is a must. Cyclops would be amazing and Doctor Octopus would be an amazing tank character. There's so many incredible picks.
The five I would like is Doc Oct, Cyclops, Captain America, Moon Knight and Jean Gray. Doc Could be a lot of things, but a mid range tank wpuld be cool. Cyclops is made for this. Captain is a mobile tank. Moon Knight could be a strategic assassin with a "rage" like mechanic. And Jean Grey can be a telekinetic healer type.
They already have every superhero written for a game like this (with many more that havent been tought of yet), they only need to bring them in this game. As long as they can manage to add heroes on a decent frequency basis, while not having too much microtransactions, this game will rise and I'm here for it. Balancing and everything else can wait; make this game FUN and ENJOYABLE to play for hours on end. and uhhhh, I'm not sure i'd want a battlepass for a game like that; right?
Some villains I think that could be fun: Tank: -Sandman. Big attacks with his hammer hands and movement by turning into sandstorms. -Arnim Zola. Very slow and clunky character but very strong laser beams. -Dr. Octopus. I just think his arms could be quite unique. -Nimrod. I mean, Nimrod was always annoyingly tanky. XD -Lash. Just to get some Inhuman love in here. DPS: -Annihilus. He’s just an imposing villain. And I feel like the Akins could go hard. -Nebula or Electra. A fast glasscannon. -Green Goblin. Though his glider would most likely be a cooldown ability. -Electro. Idk. He’s cool. Shoots lightnings. Strategist: -Mystique. Granted Loki already shapeshifts and because of recent events I would much rather have Morph anyways. But Mystique is cool too. -The Manderin. I feel like with his ten elemental rings he could be quite interesting for buffing and debuffing. -Enchantress. Would probably be an annoying character, that depowers other characters like Sombra in OV. -Mysterio for that confusion on the battlefield. (After seeing that Iron Man can fly with no cooldown I guess Goblin can have his glider the whole time.)
I hope they do a battle pass/ seasons with themes and they can release heroes than fit the season theme and they release 2 heroes that’s are related in a way and have a special team up ability with each other
I think this is an awesome list, but I see the lack of x-men as an even bigger issue than the lack of villainy. X-Men are SO iconic and have an infinite pool of unique and awesome characters to pull from. Gambit and Nightcrawler could be awesome DPS and Colossus is the perfect fit for Tank.
They have included the bare minimum of Mutants to confirm that the mutants are going to have space within the game but the rest of the mutants will be left waiting for when Marvel starts releasing mutant movies. They have already crushed it so far with the breadth of characters. However, Vision, Silver Surfer, and War Machine would have been too perfect for a game like this.
You have to take into account the variety, War machine is redundant when Iron Man and Punisher are in the game. For this reason, many exclusively melee characters have been left out to include Black Panther (Black Panther is practically mandatory if they want to attract black people to the game)
I want to play as Kingpin, the only way I can see stronger villains is if they do survival mode events where they can do all of us vs Thanos or Galactus.

Characters I wanna see
TANK - Phoenix: (Abilities - Launches energy, levitates with speed, summons shield with telekinesis) (ULT - Becomes dark Phoenix with increased Dmg for a short amount of time)
DMG - Wasp: (Abilities - Launches self forward damaging anyone nearby, charged blast, shrink) (ULT - Shrinks and flys slightly faster, along with faster projectiles and reload speed)
DMG - Ant-Man: (Abilities - Shrink, ant swarm summon, shrink uppercut, item enlargement) (ULT - Enlarges to a giant size allowing him to stomp causing enemies to be launched in the air, and increases the size of the ants)
SUPPORT - Young Madame Web: (Abilities - Forsee health, Forsee damage, astral projection, mind reading that senses nearby enemies) (ULT - When activated all nearby enemies Ult progresses will be shown along with auras and decreases amount of ULT progress earned for enemies)
SUPPORT - Emma Frost: (Abilites - Mind cloaking that makes Emma frost or chosen teammate to be invisible to enemies, moving illusion, psychic healing, diamond form) (ULT - Diamond form time is longer with increased psychic healing)
Give us Gambit!!!! And Bastion, Cable,Wolverine,Cyclops and Sentry. And yes I would like a code fora ps5

Wanted to say. I can see popular characters being left out as they would play way too close to other characters or they are one note. Cyclops for example. Ironman just has more to him and has a laser.

A little disappointed in the roster. We need more X-Men, villains, I'd like to see Hyperion or Sentry, ghost rider, Deadpool, Captain Marvel just to name a few

It would be a spoiler but the tweet is right. With the exception of Ultron. I don't remember if he was included or not. I'm looking forward to another character that hasn't been included in the trailers yet. They were my main >:O
@DeadlockDev Well let's wait and see who they release before we jump on the train. I remember fake leaks/files in datamines that ultimately meant nothing (there were datamines for MK 11 that had false information in them)
