I have been hoping for another video on the corpsman Larry; thank you so very much. My uncle was KIA February 15,1968 in Hue during TET. He was a corpsman. ❤️🙏❤️🕊😇

@@VoicesofHistory thanks Larry. May GODS RICHEST BLESSING BE YOURS
These men were exposed to the most horrific sights and situations of war in the line of fire . Day in day out.... True Angels in boots on the ground... 🙏
Wow true hero !!!!!!
Thank you Doc Henry! Thank you Larry for interviewing a fellow Corpman
Jimmy have you told your story?
I served 6 years as an enlisted swine in the Navy during Vietnam, I was even in Nam in 1970. Later in life I worked with a gentleman who was an F-4 marine pilot. He had his wings made into a ring. When I remarked that he actually had Navy wings, that the Marines didn’t have their own wings, he told me, yes indeed the Marines are part of the Navy, the men’s department. I wholeheartedly agreed!
Mr. Henry you are a remarkable man, thank you very, very much for your service. Welcome home!
❤
I can see the pain and horror in his face both in the picture then and the video now.
Thank you for your service to our country.
What is / was your call sign / ham radio
HM3 Henry brought home the trauma that a Combat Corpsman faces. It is daunting what they face as they go about their business of saving lives and giving hope. Thank you Petty Officer for your service, and the good work you did.
AMEN!
Thanks for your service !
Great video! Thank you.
Thankyou Larry for another terrific interview. I don't know how these corpsmen did the job that they did; damn sure I couldn't
Many thanks Bill!!
You know the saying about first responders "when everyone else is running away from danger, they run into it". When you are a soldier in a war zone, there is a fair chance you'll get to see what combat can do to the people around you, may they be your friends, your opponent or civilians, but no matter what unspeakable horror occurs, there is no way around it for the doctors, nurses and medics. They will run there, they will be there, they will see it all.
Yes, indeed. The corpsmen and medics are all heroes as far as I’m concerned!
My life partner son was in 3rd battalion 4th marines known as The Magnificent Bastards
Awesome interview
Semper Doc!
I've got the deck or stove for cover many times for sketchy noises. Better safe than sorry especially now a days. That's your instincts and skill saving you. Lot of sitting happening now a days
Small World....at 2:56 is Navy Captain, MC R.E. Faucett who was the CO of the Naval Hospital Oakland. I was transferred there in '72. He was a RADM by then. NRMC Oakland was staffed with outstanding MD's, RN's and corpsmen. A 9 story hospital.
Thank you Lawrence.
Devil Doc, Semper Fi
