Honestly, I was expecting another generic "Fire the sun from your eyeballs" overpowered types of spell mod. Pleasantly surprised. This adds plenty of well thought out utility that can really change up, and enable different play styles. I could certainly see myself using this
This is an update to what was known as the Grimoire spell package. I have played this with Apocalypse spell package, and the two mods work well together.
RedTeamReview Lord Red stared at his computer. The faint glow of the screen washed over his face like the light of a full moon. A bead of sweat glistened on his brow. The call of the lands of Tamriel was too strong, even for Lord Carmine of House Red. He started for his Steam icon. "I'll just play a couple of hours", he thought to himself, "my viewers don't need me to tell them the Martell storyline sucks in the show, they can see that themselves." He double-clicked the shortcut and the application started loading. To be fair, the current season of Game of Thrones had been dreadfully mediocre. The only reason he kept uploading his reviews was that he knew his subscribers awaited his opinion eagerly, some to have intelligent discussions, others to shit out the latest utterly outlandish fan theory. Despite the number of idiotic comments the lord had kept the reviews up, but Brodual's latest mod review had plunged him into the Skyrim down-spiral. He needed to play TESV. Steam had booted up by this point. His face ripe with eagerness and excitement, he began to think about all the mods he would install. "I should play a mage, it's been a while since I've used magic, and some of these new mods would certainly bring new life to the game." His hand over his mouse, he quickly found the Skyrim icon and started installing the game. "ETA 7 minutes, that's not too ba…" His tongue froze mid-word. Behind him he had heard a sound; one he was accustomed to from his experience with medieval history, shows, and games… the rasp of a blade sliding from its scabbard. At once he knew. "The Butcher of Blaviken", he said, unmoving, his voice calm. The witcher stood in the middle of the room, his right hand tight around the grip of his steel sword, the blade hanging a couple of inches from the lord's neck. Geralt of Rivia was a tall man of ashen hair, a long scar running from his forehead to his left cheekbone. He was a witcher, a mutated human, bred and trained for the sole purpose of hunting monsters, but no less efficient at slaying humans. - "I can't let you do that", Geralt's voice was somber, more so than usual, "I can't let that game drag you back to its pit of despair". -"There's nothing else like it", lord Red's voice was almost a whisper, "no other world can offer this much freedom. And the mods, o gods, the mods add such remarkable features that it is a whole new game". -"Is that so?" Geralt paused for a second, " Have you heard of The Witcher 3: WIld Hunt? It is causing quite stir among both the peasantry and nobility". -"I have, but surely the rumors are exaggerated, no game could ever come close to Skyrim, it is simply…" Swift as lightning Geralt pressed the fine edge of his sword against the lord's neck, drawing blood upon contact. Lord Red winced as the cold steel bit into his flesh. -"They are not rumors. The game is good. I can vouch for that". The sword shone a pale blue in the dimly lit room. Only the soft sound of the fans of the computer could be heard in the darkened chamber. -"Well, I guess there's no harm in trying it," said lord Red finally. -"Good choice, glad to have been of help", said Geralt with his typical sarcastic demeanor and upon uttering these words the witcher withdrew his sword, blood still dripping from the sharp edge, and started towards the door. Once at the door, he stopped, sheathing his sword back into its scabbard. "The North remembers lord Red", and strode out.
Dangit brodual, I just finished playing through tw2 for the billionth time and thought to myself "All right, I think I'll play skyrim as a mage now. Oh look, another brodual video, their videos are always nice. And it just happened to be a spell mod , what a coincidence". And then I looked at your character
Lost grimore of skyrim. Phenderix magic evolved. Spectaverse magic of the magna gee Thunder child shouts. Perkus maximus overhual. It doesnt seem like much, but some add a lot and i play on a laptop.
Just to point it out, in vanilla skyrim you can put a DEADRA HEART into a dead HUMANOID npc and use the master level resurrection spell on him/her. With the deadra heart in the dead humanoid npcs inventory the npc will continue to live as they did before they died.
Im currently playing a healer/bard sorta character with a party of four including me, and the restoration/illusion spells are just what ive been looking for, thank god for your vids lol!
Will you cover any Witcher 3 mods? I don't expect the modding community to ever get as big as Skyrim (Witcher 3 is a story driven open world game, not a Sandbox), but I could still see it getting some cool mods in the future!
Starvin Marvin I built a catsle once. Then I played with my pals Lego around it. Sad thing was the castle was destroyed after rain :'( Damn I miss my sandbox
This is my 8th mod to bookmark for my next big playthrough. After I find some more amazing ones I'll get "sick", take a week off from work, life, friends and family and just play Skyrim again until I'm satisfied for another couple months! :D
I'm going to be honest, I saw this on the nexus and debated whether or not to get it; but the way you guys present, just wow! I'm going to download it now.
***** I don't even want witcher 3, I don't understand the hyper, it looks just as bland as the first two. It's so predictable, and cliche, and boring, every single stereo type in the book, with a thick layering of "random tits" =/ such a classic. I'll stick with modding skyrim till TES 6, TYVM.
Art Murder yeah but skyrim is thesame too its pretty bland unless you add mods to it lol at least the story in witcheris a lot better than anything elder scrolls can achieve
I think you should make a character with which you do a playthrough of Skyrim, and then start using in all the mod showcases. Gopher, MxR and Top 5 Skyrim Mods of the Week all do (or did) this, and I think it makes the mod showcases much more interactive and enjoyable :)
I think you forget about "fabricate object spell", i use this spell to answer the guards that said, “Hail Summoner. Conjure me up a warm bed, would you?”
CD Projekt Red allowed modders to port stuff from TW2 into Skyrim, which explains why there's a bunch of armor, animation and creature mods from the Witcher on the Nexus. Now the real question is, will CDPR allow that for TW3, especially after the whole paid mod fiasco?
Steve Hussein Yes, probably, I wouldn't know why not. It is also a good advertisment for the game, and I don't see any further problems with that. But I really would like to see the actual fighting animations of Geralt in Skyrim. But this is quite impossible because of the Skyrim engine I think. None the less it will never work unfortunatly.
Der Fenrock That, and I'm pretty sure that in an actual swordfight, swinging your sword like Geralt is among the best ways to get yourself killed by your opponent.

Is anyone else getting a situation where Electrocute or Firebomb just don't work sometimes? I've had a lot of times where I've died because I got detected after having my Electrocute or Firebomb suddenly decide not to kill the guy I'm sneaking up on (or rather not do anything at all). On that note, these spells specifically mention that they "silently" do what they do so why does casting it alert enemies? I've actually even had one instance where Firebomb worked, but when the guy exploded, he didn't take any damage. I used it on a sleeping target and the explosion not only did nothing, it didn't even wake the bastard up.
Lotfi Adam I haven't been playing Skyrim recently so I haven't had the drive to do this. I've been playing Minecraft recently and have been modding that.
what if there was a restoration spell where you sneak up to an enemy touch them with a spell back up and slowly take their health by holding the hit button

WinterSplinterM.II They're pretty similar to the vanilla spells to be honest, but offer more variety. There's nothing insane or over the top; you aren't firing out huge meteors, or creating gigantic storms. It's great for a first-time spell package if you've never used one before! :)
WinterSplinterM.II if you read much lore about mages in elder scrolls you will find they can do pretty much anything with enough power and the spells we get in the games barely scratch the surface
654billygoat It's a shame that Skyrim basically made being a mage pathetic. I'm still waiting for satisfactory mods that'll make mage, spellsword, and general magic use much better. magic should've been a lot more like this in the original game! Hoping for something cool like this in elder scrolls 6
They should make a mod, call it *Secret Magic* and have a spell that lets you turn wood to gold. I wanna turn wood to gold ;__;

whatchachattin Not quite mister What*cha*son *took 2 minutes to think of that*
Sebastian Michaelis I believe he was playing witcher 2 because that is how Geralt looked in witcher 2.
Interesting looking spell mod for Skyrim!
I've been using plenty magic mods, but this looks like another I need to add this to my list
sounds like a good well rounded mod
U badly need the no more spinning death animation
Poison skills as restoration skills? Yeah that makes perfect sense.
The trickster spell is basically a shodow clone jutsu.
This plus apocalypse spell package = ultimate spell sets.
Even Brodual has caved in to the Witcher 3.
I think you should make a character with which you do a playthrough of Skyrim, and then start using in all the mod showcases. Gopher, MxR and Top 5 Skyrim Mods of the Week all do (or did) this, and I think it makes the mod showcases much more interactive and enjoyable :)
This look's amazing. I see many mods all in one. Hopefully this will combine with the Apocalypse spell's :) Thanks.

The no damage thing is a glitch but some times enemy's can hear you walk and detect you or 'randomly' turn around.
+Alistair Cross If i remember correctly there is some perk that adds silent spell cast, could be useful.
Might be a glitch but get the spell muffle it makes it impossible for you to be heard. Which is a lifesaver when sneaking.
Need a mod to be able to hide old weak spells that you never use so you don't have read through a hundred spells to find the one you want
