- Welcome to "Farming Simulator 22 Career Mode" - a unique and realistic take on farming life, inspired by my hopes for future game versions, such as Farming Simulator 25.
In this series, you'll experience the everyday life of a farmer/farm worker, with some added responsibilities:
Eat, Sleep, Pay Bills, and Taxes: Manage your daily needs and financial obligations alongside your farming duties.
Interactive Dialogues: Have conversations with characters in the community, adding depth and realism to the gameplay experience.
Random Events: Look out for occasional surprises that bring new challenges and keep the gameplay fresh.

Just some more info on the random events and what will happen after the vote 🗳
I'm trying to simulate a game mode within Farm sim. Most games that do that give the player a couple of options. And we are stuck to either path. Each has a positive and negative. But only one is correct. It won't always be obvious which one is the right path. But if you guys vote the wrong path, something negative will happen in the game mode. I plan it out before so I know which one ends badly. But sometimes it will be a trick or too obvious.
That's the fun part!
Time will tell what path was correct.
I know that in the real world, there are more options and probably much better options to take.
But the "created" career mode locks me into 2 paths. The right one and the wrong one 🙂👍

Just blitzed episodes 1-2. Looks like this could be a winner.
Re leak, phone the landlord and get a time from him. Then phone Arthur, tell him you’ve got a leak and explain that you need to be there to meet your landlord but will only take necessary time away from farm.

I do agree with the career mode, something they shouldve added into the game add more to the game other than the typical harvest, cultivate, seed and repeat each year, i do hope they add some sort of career to next game, and keep up great videos scroft!
Loving this Concept. Seems very interesting and something I think the next generation of FS could really do with implementing. Few ideas for you.
1. Increased household bills for winter. Darker colder evenings will put the bills up.
2. MOT & maintenance on the van.
3. Moonlighting. Work for others on your day off.
4. Professional goals. Obtain operators tickets for all machinery required. Excavators etc. Take lessons and pass tests. Obtain a truck licence. The more skills you have as a player to more money you can make as an employee.
5. Personal Goals. Own your own home, land, small holding.
Just some ideas for you.

Thanks for the feedback. I will add them to my list. The MOT and insurance is something I have planned, but it's every 12 months and will pop up as a bill like the car Tax did in the last episode.
I'm going to include XP in the next episode with levels. Each level gets me a payrise and some more jobs, like managing workers
Small addition really, but I think it'd be mint if the van got the proper TDi engine sound. Quite fitting in a way, with those things sounding like little tractors at times lol
I don't do discord but go with opsonin 2 Aather will understand if you explain it to him beforehand.
Enjoying it so far. You have clearly done a lot of prep work for this. My only thought so far was that your sleep and food bars feel like they work in the wrong direction, i.e. I would expect the colours to the left and white to the right. I can't actually decide why I think that, in Ark the stat bars are vertical, FS 22 damage and fuel are vertical, in Minecraft health goes one way and food the other - I can't work out why my brain would be happier with your sleep and food bars reversed or if there is precedent for it in other games?

Definetly nice series👌I would like to see next version of FS yield random depending on weather conditions,weekly lottery with realistic odds😂equipment maintenance would definetly need deeper look..why not animal healthcare,and like you said deeper finances etc..and when you established with dealer maybe some week try outs of equipment..

Great vid. I don't know how realistic you are trying to play but you may want to "get" speeding tickets. I am sure the map maker has speed limits on the roads. Just a suggestion.

Option 1. Water can be turned off but farming never stops!
Arthur has the same kind of truck as George. LOL. Call the landlord right away. Turn off the main water line to the house. Tape up the leak and dry up the water. Then be on time to work and tell Arthur about the problem. He will understand. The landlord can do the repairs while you work. Problem solved. Or, you can call George for technical advice!! Love this series.
Get the manual unload mod, also the 2 vehicle maintenance mods, the one with the service pallet at the other one with the battery going flat
I got a ideas for you what if arthur hires a contractor like for silage and anything like that for work and field work and you could use courseplay and autodrive to roleplay that contractor and when you ate getting in cars tractors could you use interactive control it would be very realistic

Patch and a real landlord will have keys so let him know and let him in
I think you should use a voice changer or something so it doesn't sound like your reading stuff off during conversations
I do custom voices in my RP series, and i do all the male characters. I'm trying something different with this one. Like it's a career mode that I'm playing and reading the pop up messages 👍

I tried to match the old colour. I had to sell the van and buy it again when I went over to MP and made a new farm for my finances.... let's just call it Sun fade 😅

I would like to hear full on voices like you do for the FarmHand, makes it so much immersed. Also...great concept for making the realism come to life to make career mode more like real life and things we have to normally deal with.

It's a lot of work buddy. It take me a while to get the Farm Hand voices edited. It's not a voice changer on the fly. I do the voices and then custom audio edit it myself after.
I'm going to keep that for TFH. I also think it's a good idea to play this like it's a career mode in the game. So I'm playing it and text boxes pop up and I'm reading them and then after talking about what it means.

Maybe in the future. I wanted this series to not be as much work in audio editing like TFH. It takes a while to edit it to that standard and find each part where George talks. I also wanted it to be like you guys are watching me play a career mode where I'm reading the text boxes 👍

Turn off the main water line and inform the Land Lord. You got no time to fix a leak and duct tape isn't gonna help at all...
BTW, I think the reason why manual attach wasn't working the first time you attached the header trailer to the combine was because you used super strength to move the drawbar. If you do that you need to jump back into the combine or vehicle and then get out again and then manual attach should work fine.

Loveing the new series scroft, good that you must eat ,sleep and see your incoming and outgoings , perhaps you could send this concept to joints to introduce to next fs version

For cows can you do a TB test on cows every 6 months.
Can I ask what the mod is that shows the camera on the grain bin ?
Scroft what mod are you using to do career mode.
I'm using loads of mods. There is not one specific mod. It's created by me the career mode aspect
I like the premise of the video but the bonus should have been sorted after the selling of the grain to be close to real life and the event the options given were a bit off it personally I would have given turn off the water by the stop tap and attempt a fix or call landlord and he come over immediately but you face a call out fee from the plumber
