just hope he can keep himself grounded, seems a nice mum, and family just need to be there for him, because as he goes up, the good and bad guys blur, hope he finds his way.
Is this Tank Washington son? Why is there no mention of his father. He was a standout college lineman and currently coaching. Seem like y’all are pushing the single black mother narrative.
This story is key to moving America in a positive direction. The support of his Mom, Coach and Shaq is driving Byron towards his dream. Every kid in the world needs some of that.
“If you’re not where you want to be, why are you taking a day off?” THIS is why I think this kid will not only reach the NFL, but be a starter. Elite physical gifts is great, but having a strong, borderline maniacal work ethic is what makes good players great!
He seems like a great kid, and has overcome a ton of obstacles already in life, but labeling him "The Best Lineman in the Nation" is just utterly laughable! He is NOT even in the Top 100 best OL in the country, he is a solid 3 star recruit, nothing more!
@@Z3R0US Tell me what service ranks him as a 5 star? You can easily look him up. Every place I've seen lists him as a 3 star. He's good, but he's not considered elite. But things can change a lot in college. Only time will tell.

Dude is a beast but I feel like he has so much weight on him that it’s mostly all fat. If he tones that and has less fat he would be a much more versatile player. But if he keeps the same size with no changes, I don’t think he’ll make it past college. He’s got a great size and height to play in college football but if he is not quick on his feet, he’ll get crushed by defensive ends
@@jimmihaley9679he is just big bro. His feet are slow, his technique is okay. He needs to lose 40 lbs and maybe he will start D1. They are selling on potential not current talent. He’s 6’8 with a wide frame. He’s a prototypical tackle but his weight is hindering him too much.
Yeah he has a ton of fat on his body. First step is slow and subpar. Getting rid of the body fat would help him a ton. Hopefully college will help. Good luck to the kid

Byron should call Mario Cristobal at Miami. Cristobal & Alex Mirabal at the U are the best coaches in the nation for OL. Good luck wherever you choose to go. Go Canes!
He needs to get with a trainer and meal plan...no reason to be 380 lbs and be idolizing Trent Brown Cut 50-60 lbs and someone show him some Jonathan Ogden film. This is similar to the kid on Snoop Dogg's Netflix show (Big Max). That type of build will have him keeping the bench warm, he has the foundation to make it into something special though with the correct cultivation. Not hating, I just don't wanna see him on one of these lame content creator's channels "what happened to the massive OL prospect from Texas..."
I agree get down 50-60 pounds work on his footwork a little bit more and he’ll be straight and him having knee surgeries don’t make it any better so he need to come down take some weight off them knees
His knees would be s concern for me. That's a lot of weight on the knees and better opposing teams in college are going to do everything to cut him down. Recovery from injury will be a long process with all of that weight. I hope that he proves me wrong.
What a great kid! He has a wonderful Mom, I wish him all the best. Way to go, keep grinding!
Could not have said it better.

I'm glad that this young gentleman is committed to Syracuse. I look forward to seeing what his presence on our offensive line will lead to...
Yes! I'm excited to get a look at an O-lineman working his way up. Nice to meet you, and mama, and coach. Good wishes to you all.

I will be pulling for Byron's success. I hope he has a great career
Yes, love that man. And a happy life on and off the field..
Kid is a beast. Good luck to other DT or DE trying to get through him.
He needs to watch Desmond Harrison that played at Texas. Regardless of being 6’8 you gotta have that bend and play with leverage ‼️
He should watch Joe Alt to see how an elite D1 Tackle should play at 6ft8.
