I think your "dust" is actually mineral residue from your humidifier using tap water. Using distilled water in it should fix that. Amazing sounding guitar!

There's a boutique builder in the Philippines who makes guitars from locally sourced materials. The brand name is Alama. His base price is about $400 US and they sound really good. There's someone in Ontario who has one of his guitars. He has a few uploaded videos with sound samples.
