As a cat lover, on my first trip to Morocco I was amazed by the kitties lounging in the hotel and the welcoming attitude of the staff. The hotel manager explained to me the regard for cats deeply rooted in Islam. He then joked " You see, look at this cat performing Wadu and also how often he bows in prayer to Allah. Here, many cats spend their entire life at the Mosque. " Maybe he wasn't joking.

I have 12 cats, ranging from 12, 7, 1 1/2 years old, 9 my brush old, 3 months old, and a new born kitten almost two weeks old, and I adore them all. I’m glad Mohammed adored cats too and orders Muslims to love and respect cats. ♥️♥️

I'm not Muslim but I have 9 cats and they are definitely my family! I also have a stray visitor that I fell in love with, a grey and white boy that has a name here. I wish he would stay with us, but when he comes, there is always plenty of food for him also. Love cats.
I was not partial to keeping animals as pets because of my fear of them, but after my brother brought a cat into the family a few years ago, I fell head over heels for them.

In Islamic history there is a mentioning of a woman whose profession was not legitimate but she once helped drink water to thirsty " dog" from a well and Allah Almighty pleased with from that kind deed that she went to Heaven only because of that with Allah Mercy.
So in short Islam says be kind to all the animals especially allows to keep cats as a domestic pet.

Do need to clear one thing up though as sadly many cats ends up at the emergency room because of this, Yes cats have a talent to land on their feet, but its not always the case and there are common to get injured in hips or their bladder can break so please protect your cat from falling. PS, have had cats since I was a child. Also cats do not have 9 lives, they have one only , so please keep them safe.

I love cats, They are cute, intelligent, loyal and they do not give love to please you , they give love because you have earned it. Sadly in many Muslim countries cats are not treated well, and I wish that could change.

Hello how does you cat predict the weather? Mine simply bunkers up in his outside house I built him before rain, so I know when it's going to rain if I see him enter his house what way does you cat predict weather?
@@furrycircuitry2378 Hi usually when thunderstorms are coming most of my cats keeps asking for extra food but there's one particular female cat who gets this frightened look goes into hiding hours before the weather comes.
Sometimes weather forecaster says it's going to have thunderstorms and she's normal we look out for storm and nothing comes.
When it's earthquake she actually gets into panic state and wants to go outside doesn't want to remain indoors the looks on her little face tells something about to take place there are fault lines that runs through the islands and she senses the earth movements this affects her more than all of our other cats.
It is true that cats are part of the family; the Prophet of Islam was the first (and probably the only) religious reformer to teach this concept.

I find cats easy to live with than people as long as you give them respect and there space they have there own minds but know when you feel down or ill my cat all know how I was feeling she's was my best friend, we now take care part time a cat that she was friends with he's a lovey tuxedo boy they used to sit in the garden together and eat together when she passed he made a very odd cry and walked around looking for her ,this shows its not just us that feel loss ,cats are very special 😘😍

I am from Australia. I had a beautiful kitty from my mums boss. Looked after it is for 20+ years and her son lived two years more then her mu. Now i am married got a kitty from my father in law. Me and my wife love and look after him like our eyes (Turkish saying). I miss my Princess (my first cat here) but we love our Prince. Every creature is a blessing from Allah.
All beings with a wet heart bring merit. Allah will entrust your fortune to the cat that you care for, God willing, your life will always be made easy.
I hit my middle toe and although I treated it, it started to swell. I had made the decision to go to the hospital. While visiting my parents, I took off my shoes and the parents' cat, a few months old, jumped up and bit my finger. Black blood started to flow from the finger. In half an hour I had nothing left. From then on I called the cat "the doctor".

Cats are Sacred and have much to teach us! We had a neighbor that had gotten very sick from Hanta virus! This is a virus that comes from field mice and can injure and kill a human! This man did not like cats but after being sick he asked me if could make friends with one of my barn cats and learn about them. He was actually afraid of them from being scratched as child! We let him come over every day! Tom fell in love with the smallest of a new litter of Maine Coons! He made good friends, paid for his vet bills and is very happy! Tom’s wife passed away and his cat whom he refers to as” Kinzo“ a lovely Arab name helped him with his grief! Tom and his cat visit often and the love between these 2 is special to watch! Tom made a bed for his cat at the foot of his bed and the cat does not go to bed till Tom does!

My son was a chemistry professor at a university in the US. We only saw him at Christmas time when he came back here to Canada. On Christmas Eve in 2014 my 15 year old tabby cat became gravely sick. It was late but my son drove us to the Emergency vet. He paid the expensive bill but when our vet’s office reopened two days later we discovered that the cause of her illness was a large tumour the size of one of her kidneys. Her name was Mia & she could say “Mama”. My kids didn’t believe me but they heard her say it that day that we had to put her to sleep. Even worse was that I couldn’t grieve openly because my son’s wife had no heart for animals.
When they had to go back to the US my son came back to me after his wife got in the car & handed me a bunch of $20.00 bills to go find a new cat at the Humane Society in a nearby city. He knew that after he left my daughter would soon have to go back to university & I would be left alone with my sadness.
At the Humane Society they put you in a room & then bring in a cat for you to view. The third cat…she chose me!
Her name was Ruby & I thought she was an older kitten but she was 1.5years old & petite. She is half Snowshoe Siamese with lilac points.
She chose me by getting up on a table that was beside my chair & sitting kneading her little front paws & looking at me with her light blue eyes with such affection & happy purrs.
Almost exactly a year later, my son got lost taking an impetuous hike far up North where we used to live. He got lost & was found not too far from where he might’ve been saved.
He froze to death.
On the second night of crying & not being able to sleep, Ruby curled up on my chest & purred me to sleep & kept my heart warm.
That was in 2015.
She has been my beloved companion but also my “grief counsellor” & only comfort throughout this daunting journey that I am on.
I am disabled & still heartbroken over my son but Ruby is here to put a smile on my face with her silly antics & her love & affection. She is my heart’s link to my son & can often bring back to me some of the joy I had always had in my son.
Thank God for these beautiful creatures he created!
God bless my son, Jesse, and my little cat, Ruby.

I just rescued 3 beautiful cats. I named one Muhammad and 1 Isa, and beautiful Luna just birthed 4 beautiful kittens. I found out that Muhammad is the father. All of them now have a forever home and they are all so affectionate and happy with their new life.❤
Walhamdulillah I am rescuing cats for past more than 20 years and I have one blind cat one paralized cat who passed away last month I have more orphan cats i picked from streets some only one week old dome 4 weeks old. the blind cat was only 4 weeks old but thanks God he is 7 years old and full if joy and playful..my neighbour had poisoned 4 of my cats i live it on Allah. but the happiness I get from this rescue is unmathable with even millioners. I fill as Allah says me be part of my murci. Shubhanallah. Love from Tanzania

I have my fur daughter laying next to me while i am watching this.
But i am looking after my cousin's cats, who i feel like i am now their mother and all three of them are girls and they are more than looked after.
They are spoiled rotten with me, the only down side is that my girl Hazel, is not the type of girl that likes to share her space with her cousins.
But they are free range and they love to be outdoors more than being inside.
But i am so happy to live in a flat that the landlord is OK with having a cat in the flat, more importantly he happens to be my uncle. So much so that my fur baby loves when my uncle comes over and she just sits near him and just smiles.
But also my outdoor girls do give me their love and affection and at this stage Hazel and here cousin's can tolerate each other and when called for i have noticed that my baby stands up for her cousins.
And i have been given my cousin's blessing that if i do move away that her girls are coming with me. After all they are a part of my little family.

this is wonderful . , my cat Frida watched this with me. i hurt so much to see any that are hurt. i miss having more that one cat - i think you should always have 2 near the same age , so the most i had was 6 - because two older ones were ill . . .i only have one now, they make it really hard since the pandemic taking advantage of stores being closed and the only shelter has you fill out a form like you are going to be conducting brain surgery It's insane . I choose to pay for pet insurance rather than have a cell phone - so any questions ?
I have 2 kittens from a stray mom cat .Boy and girl love them and adopted out other 2 . I see how hateful people are to them .I'll drink from same milk ,water and try teach others .

Oh, that explains the many free-roaming cats in Türkiye. Whenever I travel there again, I'll bring some cat treats with me. 😼 By the way, someone from our tour group even saw a cat in the Hagya Sophia and shared her photo of it. I guess a cat could do worse. 🥰

Desde criança convivi com gatos. Eu admiro como eles são perfeitos, bonitos, amorosos. Admiro Deus através deles. Nunca deixei de ter gatos em minha casa, desde meus 7 anos. Outro dia fiquei muito contrariada com afirmações terríveis contra os felinos, em resumo, a pessoa dizia que eles eram malignos já que podiam transmitir esquizofrenia (!) e tinham a capacidade de promover possessões e abrir portais(!).
