Oh yeah, in terms of different alien races, there are a TON in 40k. I mean, the first game had you fighting Orks which are way different to the Tyranids you fight in the sequel. And even in terms of the Tyranids alone there are so much more types of them in the lore and the tabletop game that don't show up in Space Marine 2. I'd say the variation of Tyranids you fight are like, 30% of the list. If you look up the different species of Tyranid, there are waaay more.

*All 40k games look amazing.. Also, all 40k games are boring with zero fun mechanics.. They all get boring fast. Fire warrior, dawn of war, and battlesector are the only gems gw has ever made.*
