The Skaven are so akin to the orcs its terrifying. If for even one moment they decided to stop fighting each other we would all lose HARD like it wouldn't even be funny.
There’s so many skaven because they literally breed like rats, to the point even losses by friendly fire would be minuscule if they worked together for once
I genuinely hope you watch "Dismantling the IRS with necromancy" by this guy it's absolutely hysterical. It's probably the peak of his Warhammer fantasy series so far.
Actually the turn times in immortal empires are a lot quicker than they were in mortal empires considering the amount of factions. Towards endgame where a lot of the world is visible it might be different but at the start of a campaign it is actually really fast.
fun fact: Ikit escaped the endtimes by ascending to godhood and becoming hated by all the other gods including the great horned rat which makes sense he does have the biggest brain of all rats after all
You don't even need a frontline with the skaven plague magic can summon 5 clanrats units per battle. So throw in 2 priest and that is 10 clanrats every battle. 1 lord of choice, 1 engineer for missile buffs includimg range, 2 plague priests, 3 jezzails (snipers for lords heroes and monsters), 5 ratlingguns, 3 mortars (fantastic in sieges), 3 catapults and 2 lightning cannons. That can deal with most things. Edit: skryre best faction because it buffs all their best and most fun units aside from beasts and NUKES. Also they start in skavenblight which is their main city.
Suddenly blowing up an Empire city and then proceed to declare war on your only ally while the entire world is trying to kill you. Yeah. Sounds like peak Skaven experience to me.
BTW, for anyone who doesn’t know, or is curious about the part where Morghur of the beast men was able to tank thousands of bullets and walk away, that’s because Morghur has 75% Missile Resistance and 25% Spell Resistance. Which means if they are hit by a missile attack, any damage which is not blocked by armor because of luck, (because armor is basically a dice roll to see how much damage gats through) or because it’s armor-piercing damage, will only do 3/4 of it’s full damage. And if the missile is also magical (like a ratling gun’s warpstone bullets) then Morghur’s spell resistance comes into play, meaning that Morghur is actually hitting the maximum resistance ceiling in the game of 85% damage reduction. (since, obviously, making it possible for anyone in game to negate damage by 100% would be dumb)
About the 270 factions don't worry it usually goes to around 170ish by around turn 5 and 120ish by 10-15 because of the minor factions that start at war with the major ones and just other random also minors dying within that time frame And even with all 278 factions turns usually go by within 2ish minutes for me atleast
im beginning to realize what the hospitaller sees in the old man. whenever he starts behaving like an old goblin or rat-man...he looks kinda cute. i can respect her taste...not that im into that though
Currently doing a clan moulder campaign, I definitely use my lower ranked infantry to pin down the enemy while I call in rattling gunners, poison wind globadiers, poison mortars or laser cannons on their position, they say they rather not participate in that strategy, I told them I would put a pin in it and would get back to them in a few days.
Someone clearly doesnt know what Dawi do to those who they have a grudge on the burned a human town to the ground with the townsfolk inside and shelled a city to rubble, everyone breaks it, Skaven and Druchii are just creative about it
@@cpaul562 you can play skaven WAY more eficient and beat the endgame easy peasy... his positioning is bad and expanded super slow. he coud do better in nearly all aspects of the game so what do you mean? xD its funny but no way you lern how to play skaven here
