The GOAT 🐐 debate is OVER and LeBRONZE🥉🥉will NEVER be the GOAT. Here’s why.
    1. 8 championship losses which includes his 2 on Team USA🥉🥉
    2. He has a LOSING Finals record of 4-6 including 2 sweeps 🧹 🧹The greatest of all time can ❌NOT❌ be a guy that has LOST more than he’s WON. I mean what are we doing here. 🤷‍♂️
    3. He’s NEVER won a championship without joining a SUPER TEAM.
    4. He’s the all time leader in TURNOVERS. He even has more than John Stockton and John has 4,800 more assists.
    5. He’s a career below average free throw shooter. 10 seasons he’s been below 75.0% including 5 seasons in the 60.0% range and he’s never shot 79.0% his whole career. His HIGHEST season percentage is lower than MJ’s🐐LOWEST.
    6. He’s not a competitor. This is a guy that LOSES & RUNS. OK I LOST LET ME GO HERE. OK I LOST AGAIN LET ME GO HERE. OK I LOST AGAIN LET ME GO TO THE WEST NOW SO STEPH CAN STOP WINNING RINGS ON ME. 😂
    7. Steph and the Warriors built a DYNASTY on his back. Lebron runs so much that he’ll never be part of a dynasty. SMH
    8. He’s had more HELP than everybody in NBA history.
    9. Let’s talk about toughness in big moments. JORDAN🐐scored 38 with flu like symptoms in game 5 of the 97 Finals. Meanwhile in game 1 of the 2014 Finals Lebron had to be carried off the court because the AC went out. I guess he’s never played ball in the park. 😂
    10. He’s 6 misses away from passing Kobe to become the all time leader in MISSED SHOTS.
    11. He FLOPS and his defense is not that good. Sometimes he doesn’t play defense at all. Sometimes he doesn’t even get back on defense.
    12. I mentioned this is #1 but he’s also failed TWICE on Team USA bringing home 2 BRONZE Medals🥉🥉
    13. He’s the only guy in the debate that took the SUPER TEAM route to success. So how can we even compare him to guys that had traditional careers. 🤷‍♂️
    14. He’s praised for his longevity even though he uses, Cryotherapy, Normatech Leg Boots and spends time in a Hyperbaric Chamber. WHAT? Meanwhile he’s being compared to MJ🐐whose only method of treatment was icing his knees. 🤷‍♂️
    15. He’s only played a full season ONCE. MJ🐐did it 9 times including his final season at 40 years old.
    16. He’s possibly on PEDS 💉💉
    17. He’s been outscored in the Finals 7 times. Dirk, Wade, Bosh, Jason Terry, Tony Parker and KD TWICE. MJ🐐was NEVER outscored in the Finals. I mean enough is enough. Nothing about what I just mentioned says the greatest player of all time. I mean he’s done some great things but what people don’t seem to realize is without SUPER TEAMS his career is nowhere close to where it is today. Check this timeline.
    2003-10 Before Super Teams - 1 Finals appearance 🧹
2011-24 After Super Teams - 9 Finals appearances
See what I mean 🤷‍♂️ And along with all those deep post season runs came rings, records and stats that he wouldn’t have if he would’ve never left the Cavs the first time. I’ll give him 3, maybe 4 trips to the Finals at best.
Also here’s a list of some star players and how many BELOW AVERAGE free throw seasons they had. (under 75.0%)
    -
    MJ🐐 - 0
    Kobe - 0
    Magic - 0
    Bird - 0
    Steph - 0
    KD - 0
    Kawhi - 0
    Kyrie - 0
    J Tatum - 0
    N Jokic - 0
    Harden - 0
    Dame $ - 0
    Lebron - 10
Plus LBJ had 5 seasons in the 60.0% range and he hasn’t shot 79.0% from the line in 21 seasons. There’s ❌NO WAY❌ anyone can tell me he’s the greatest player of all time when can barely go the line by himself and hit two shots. FACTS💯 Long story short, Lebron due to way too many negatives on his resume is disqualified from GOAT contention. 💯

      @Ace-fe8gc 24 дня назад +1

Then that means Bron is a better efficient scorer!
Why take a difficult 2 pointer when you can get the same 2 points at the rim??
Jordan himself said he didn’t excel at shooting 3’s because he wanted to put pressure on the defense!
So why is it bad that LeBron puts pressure on the defense going down hill?
Kyrie looks better as a scorer compared to Shaq but we know Shaq is more dominant and efficient.
LeBron is a perimeter player going to the cup to score and is a more efficient 3 point shooter.

How do you explain your shooting comment and, if guys know LeBron isn’t a shooter and they play him for the drive because he isn’t a ‘shooter’ then how does he keep scoring at the paint?

    • @OpinionStated
      @OpinionStated 24 дня назад +3

@@Ace-fe8gc you answered your own question. By volume because of todays style of play in the NBA, Joel Embiid & Jokic shoot more than Jordan did 😂🤣 That doesn’t make them shooters. And how convenient of you to cherry pick Bron’s best statistical year from three. He’s still not a shooter, meaning the mass of his shots come within 2 ft of the basket - pretty simple. Steph Curry; Klay Thompson; Kevin Durant; Devin Booker; Luka Doncic etc are shooters my friend. Yes, Bron can FINALLY shoot better than his early career, but there’s no consistency in terms of balanced shots from different ranges on the court. Impossible to misunderstand or to argue.

What case can you possibly make that supports that idea? They were just simply two different players with different jobs. Here's another quick example, Larry Bird was a better all around shooter than MJ, better rebounder and passer, does that mean he was better? Some corrections for this vid: MJ played 15 seasons, not 13 (although the last 2 with the Wizards have nothing to do with his GOAT case - we all know his GOAT case is based strictly on his Bulls career, so saying 13 is understandable. Still, 15 is the actual number). Also, it says Lebron has been to 20 straight playoffs. This isn't true. He's missed the playoffs a few times. He's been to 18 playoffs total, and not all in a row.

The goat debate in the NBA is a pointless debate. It seems like people forget that basketball is a team sports. So many factors involve that each side has a point to raise. MJ will never be a champion if in each game in the finals you'll remove all the points and rebounds contributed by Pippen and Rodman, And so does Lebron he will never win his 1st championship if not for Kyrie.

Your analysis was pretty incomplete .you tried to be fair to both parties ny creating advantages fir both instead of giving defnitve answers you built up Lebron's strengths by making it look like mj didn't have the same strengths....you chose mj as the goat but for all the wrong reasons..you failed to mention losing 8 championship moments in his nba and Olympic career while mj never lost any championship once it was his for the taking....lebron has lost more final games than anyone I'm nba history...has the most turnovers in nba history.....you. created a scenario that Lebron was the more complete player based off of rebounds and assists...failing to mention most all of the other categories including scoring that mj was more efficient in as evidenced by every metric record and analytics in mj's favor and most of them mj is better than everyone...mj is the most efficient player across the board on offense and defense and it's not even close..failed to mention is also a top 5 all around defender of alltime and by far the best two way player ever on both sides of the floor and on top of being the best scorer ever...everyone knows the only reason lebron has scored the most points is that mj spotted him 6 seasons and counting....mj is more rich..more clutch...more soectacular...more hangtime...more famous and btw you didn't mention mj's incredible athleticism for his size....the only reason lebron is considered a spectacular athlete is because he is 2 to 3 inches taller than mj and outweighs him by 50 lbs....mj was just as athletic or more pound for pound....mj is considered godly.by the majority of the entire world...he sells the most sneakers because of this inhumane aura that no athlete or person ever has in history of mankind....the pedestal he is on is so much greater than Lebron ever will have....this debate is a joke conjured up by newbies who don't know any better....the only debate Lebron should be is for second place....leave mj out of this
..he put it too out of reach...only person that has a chance to be at his level is Vjctor Wembanyama because of his freak height a d athleticism that will control both sides of the floor.....Wemby most probably will never be 6-0 with 6 finals mvps and 10 scoring titles as no one will ever come close to doing that....but he can view for mj's status as best two way player ever if he continues to dominate om both ends equally like mj did

There are three reasons I think Lebron is the GOAT:
    1. Lebron is the more well rounded player (not just scoring) as he has more block and assists (he’s literally the only non-pg in top 10 assists all time). Even when it comes to scoring he is not far behind MJ. Besides he has done it far more consistently and at higher efficiency for 22 years!
    2. Lebron dominated in an extremely challenging era as he had battles with the super team warriors. He even won one of those battles which is much more impressive that Jordan beating a washed Lakers squad and a bunch of other teams that made it to the finals in a weak conference. I’m not saying like the kids say that they were “plumbers” but I am saying Lebron competition really was far better. This means that his finals appearances themselves (despite winning fewer of them than MJ) and the fact that he did win 4 teams despite his competition gives Lebron the edge over MJ.
    3. And my last point is that I just can’t give MJ the crown as the GOAT on principle because bro literally retired two times in his prime (one time literally to play another sport). This is something people don’t acknowledge but to me, it hurts his legacy because he left the sport for another one. If he had stayed with the Bulls and won like 8 championships, maybe id have him as the GOAT. But Lebron dedicated his entire career to this sport and has dominated throughout his career consistently from rookie to fossil (40 years old).
Additional note: for those who point to MJ’s cultural impact, all I have to say is that was a product of his timing. The NBA had just been resurrected to popularity again by Magic and Bird, so the world was primed for a new guy to come in and dominate like no other. If Lebron had played back then and MJ had played now, this wouldn’t even be a debate as Lebron would be the consensus GOAT. And the shoes and his brand are a product of MJ being a great businessman which has nothing to do with basketball.
If you somehow made it through that whole thing 😅, just know, I will only respond to respectable and logical replies.

Lebron is about to be the all time leader in missed field goals, missed FTs to go along with his already obtained title of most Turnovers.
Slap on most super teams formed, most coaches fired, most faked injuries, most teammates thrown under the bus, most traded teammates. Michael doesnt have major blemishes like Lebron. Where is the comparable collapse of the 2011 finals where he was the 3rd leading scorer on his team and was outplayed by Jason Terry? Hes been swept in the finals twice. If he was the goat he should have been able to steal one game no? Even Iverson snagged one game vs arguably the greatest team ever when he dropped 48 vs the 2001 Lakers.
Lebron legitimately could have been in the convo but hes done things like use his agency to tamper with players under contract to have them traded to his teams to improve his chances at titles ( ex Anthony Davis). Hes got media talking heads under contact to espouse his propaganda and slander the greats of the past to uplift himself (Shannon Sharpe, Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, Draymond Green and im sure some others who haven't admitted it..yet). Hes had Rich Paul email media members (See Rick Bucher) to put pressure on them to consider voting for Lebron as MVP. That shit again is tampering and taints the integrity of media members and the awards they vote on.
How about the Biogenesis scandal and that smoking gun that ESPN somehow doesn't talk about?
Earnest Mims, Lebrons longtime friend and business manager, was embroiled in the story as he bought PEDS from the lab. During Lebrons stint in Miami.
David Alexander who worked with Lebron and his wife Savanah as a personal trainer was busted for distributing PEDS in the scandal that rocked the MLB and destroyed the credibility of some great players like Manny Ramirez, A Rod and Justin Braun. They all received lengthy suspensions and may never get into the MLB hall of fame.
There was also Anthony Bosch. He was the mastermind behind Biogenesis. He figured out how to beat Olympic level drug testing. His assistant recalls Jameer Nelson coming into Biogenesis to pick up PEDS in person. She also recalled a man with the last name "Paul", as in Rich Paul, super agent of LeBron James, picking up packages every month that were labelled LJ.
Now from the sounds of it, also according to Victor Conte, the NBA is suppressing more details of this story (according to a source inside ESPN)...and I wonder why? They don't want to end up with a huge black mark against one of their greatest ever players and their league as a whole.
When you consider all of these coincidences and Lebrons durability...how can there not be a broader investigation into this? If this had been Kobe they would have suspended him for a year or worse and his reputation ruined. And rightly so.
This is a bit long winded but there are so many of us, NBA fans, that are sick of the narrative of Lebrons greatness, being shoved down our throats. I have watched hoops for 23 years now and I have never seen more pandering and simping for a guy than this. It's like he deserves to win the title every year just for being who he is. What happened to competing and earning it? What happened to playing 82 games. Staying loyal to teammates you are in the trenches with. Lebon sees his teammates as disposable employees to meet his ends. He wants it given to him because hes the "Chosen One". Sadly this era has birthed a geeration of Brontards who can't dispel any of the facts I just laid out. They'll just call me a hater. Sorry brontards, facts don't care about your feelings.

Lebron James the "ultimate playmaker"? REALLY?? I mean he's good, very good, but he ain't at that level. Magic is the real ultimate playmaker and Stockton is second. Besides when MJ had to play at the PG he was amazing. Truly amazing.
But Greatness, real greatness is not about stats, it's about MOMENTS, where the man shines and just shows to all that he's not backing down, willing to go through war to get the job done. It's the mentality in display that combined with other factors (athleticism, skill, game IQ) makes the man more than a man, becoming a symbol that makes all of us to aspire to become better. Magic, Bird, Kobe, Duncan and ofc MJ, they all had it, and showed it for th entirety of their careers. Lebron is a phenom, true, but he lacks the mentality.

The only thing jordan has over lebron is scoring, but not really too. When Lebron tied Jordans total points made, Lebron had 1200 less shots attempted than Jordan. So Lebrons a much more efficient scorer. I dont think theres much debate left in 2024, Lebron has been the goat for a while now in my eyes. But still really nice video you deserve more subs

Jordan by miles away in terms of steals and blocks jordan has 3 steals titles 10 scoring titles...and jordan was rank 77th overall....by what? By TURNOVERS AND LEBRON IS 1ST IN ALL TIME TURNOVERS that's the difference....

So Malone’s a better scorer than Jordan and LeBron? He has a higher fg% than both and when LeBron passed him, LeBron did it on more shot attempts
