Mapping the sand bags was the hardest part

Once you unlocked the Peacekeeper, there is still more to get with it:
- Get 10 Kills for the "Peacekeeper" Codex Entry.
- Get 100 Kills for the BLACK "An Awakening" Dog Tag.
- Get 25 Headshots for the "Wellington House" Codex Entry

can this be done on a private server? EVERY Damm time i try the server populates, and restarts, my friends join and help the server populate and it restarts, or they kill me before i get the candles figured out and the 4 min timer resets, or i figure ill get on a server were its like 2 in the morning so no one will get on and it disconnects due to bad server connection. i have like 16 hours tied up in this and i am about ready to drive to DICE and burn it to the ground.
WEBEKILLINGUM if you're having trouble it might be worth hiring a server for the day. It costs a couple of pounds. It does have to be unlocked, but can be private yes.
thank you i have always done every Easteregg one ever and i like to do it the hard way, with paper and pencil figuring it out as i go but seems like the universe is working against me on this one.

(PS4) For anyone trying to do this solo I found that one can parachute from a plane and at the right moment take a screenshot with the share button and be able to reference that for the sandbags mapping. It may not be as good as going into spectator mode but it should help.

When I said "It will remember B" around 12:29 I misspoke. It will remember H, but then pressing B, as I did, means it will remember B, because H - B is invalid, so it has the effect I wanted of now registering B - G as my next test and so the rest works.
The point to understand is, for an invalid pair (both rows or columns) the second letter is 'remembered' by the system and the danger is you forget one is remembered, carry on the test another pair, and the first of your pair is a valid pair with the remembered second of the invalid pair, so you think the pair you entered is valid, but it wasn't.
For example, if I enter: -
A-B (invalid)
Then C-D, the system will register B-C and, if that is valid a light will show. You will think C-D was valid! Worse, the system will now be remembering D as (since you effectively clicked B-C, which was correct, then clicked D) so if you click E-F, you have actually clicked D-E and, if that is valid, the system will then register the F as another hangover!
It's a nasty wrinkle when the system is already complex! Be careful!
If you get in a mess the only way to get straight again is to check the lights every single click, recording no results until one comes up. Then you know the last two letters are a valid pair and you can continue correctly. You might even need to go back a couple in case you mis-recorded some!
I had to do this many times when working this out!

@@Disposalist Yep, we're not talking about BFV and 2042. I just got hooked on this assignment and it's been driving me crazy for two days. I feel like I can't play the game unless I get this over with so many thanks for the guide. Esp. the mapping of sandbags - that's the trickiest part since now there are online solvers for the tiles and candlesticks.

Thanks again, it's my second time solving this easteregg, this time on PC. It's actually easy once you get the hang of it. The most difficult part for me was to determine the sandbags position.

I'm pretty late for this whole thing, but when I got the first dog tag I was really hyped about it, but when I moved on to this tag I really thought that it would be easy, but I think that I were really wrong about it. This video helps more than anything 5 videos. Nice job👍

I thank you for the quality of the files that left us in excel for everyone's use here so far seen its content and what else adds , not deserving the work of the rest I'm solo on the pc in search of the peacemaker, I played a lot the BF1 when i launched but at the time I gave up already in the 1 dog tag , today a little older and patient returned to play after 4 years and descends fetch the dog tags fantamas , here's my recognition.

Thanks for the video, I got the challenge done in 3ish hours (+/-) 20 min. the sandbag part was the hardest imo, got the tiles/pillars done easily.

Still helping us 5 years later, was flabberghasted because I didn't know putting an invalid pair (2 columns or 2 rows) would effectively ignore the 2nd press, but keep the first, thank you so much!

Managed to get this done years later on a second account, it confuddled me when a random light just turned on, now it know it was because after having no result with a combo, the last button is then switched to the first for your next sequence, that should hopefully save me some stress next time

just did this on PS4 after several unsuccessful attempts, the smoke appeared, i heard the strange noise, I celebrated! AND NO TAG :( hope it appears after all that work...

I didn't get how you used your map of the sandbags to press the letters; like how can I tell which sandbag is whhich letter? Watching this vid before i try it. Otherwise ur dog tag vids really helped clear out some questions I had.
The hardiest bit is trying to grid the sand bags because you don't know what section they are a part of. Any one on xbone who can help?

I love this guide. But if you do one letter at a time like AB, AC, AD, AE etc. it’s much easier to remember
Easier to remember yes, but more running hehe. Because you're making them on the matrix as you go you should be able to do whatever order you like, but anything that simplifies it is good. It's a tricky one!

Is this possible to do on a private server or does it have to be ranked? Earlier, i seen a video and someone said they did theirs in a private one? I started doing mine earlier in a public one but couldnt work out where the board was inside. I can now thanks to this video though
TwistedAspect Yes, I did it on both hired and public, but you can't set a password as it's then not ranked.
Just keep an eye out for randoms and kick them.

The voices have been silent far too long. I've finished the easter egg on ps4 console. Once you get the hang of it the easter egg can be solved under 25-30min. This video was really helpful with the sandbags on the 8x8 grid. Good job Disposalist!

Hello, i know it's late but when I tried different pair of panels, the floor wouldn't light up. I've tried different server but the same thing happened. Isn't it a bug? May I need to reinstall the game ?
Do you mean you got some lights, but after that, no more? Or do you mean you never get any lights at all, even though the panels can be clicked?

Sounds like a bug. Yeah might have to start again.
It's easier if you hire your own server for a day. It can be frustrating on public servers.
Edit: One thought: Don't forget, every match has its own unique solution. It won't be the same sequence that I did in this video.
@@Disposalist Thanks so much. I've tried again and it worked. I'll finish it later. I think I have changed the profile in document (My pc is bad though) and the user config file. I guess the bug came from here.
I've deleted all those files and reinstalled again and it works

I swear I got the locations of the sandbags correct and the corresponding lights but the smoke and sound didnt appear
Nuno After doing it maybe 30 times for myself, for videos and for others I still occasionally get the sandbag locations wrong first time.
If you don't get the smoke go back and check them. It's usually one of the top row that looked to be third from the left but was actually second.

I know the candle section has a weird time limit on it but does this bit, or can I take as long as I want
It does have a limit, I think, but it's much longer. I also think as long as you are pressing buttons it won't reset. It only reset for me once when I left it alone while making the video for quite a long time.

Sometimes when I was working with the 8x8 grid and clicking the coordinates it didnt light up and the grid I got at the end didnt make any sense :-(
It is confusing and tricky, but honestly the theory is sound.
I did it several times for myself and others and yes, sometimes had to start over.

@@Disposalist I already am in the Discord Community and there are links for morse code decoders, but the problem is that I can‘t hear the code because it is to fast. I will use audacity next time maybe that is going to help.
@@davidspahn3933 Yeah I didn't decode it by listening, but by filtering the frequency and viewing the waveform reduced to, essentially, dots and dashes (in Audacity)

i have an important question! if you turn on, lets say E and B and you want to turn on C and D right after that, does B effect that? Does B and C turn on instead? i don‘t understand the function of the buttons, when you click B 2 times, is it off again? I would be really thankfull if someone could explain it to me! Greetings
Felix Gep You only get B if the E, B combo didn't work. A pair that doesn't work leaves the second one 'active'.
When a pair fails make sure to start the next pair with a double press of the first
ok last question: when you activate A and B for example, and you want to deactivate it, do you have to go with A and B or B and A? or does it even matter? thanks for the fast answer!

You don't need to reset them. Working out what panel does what works the same whether you are turning lights on or off.
