Got mine waiting for me in Boston now, looking forward to picking it up then heading back to the desert to give it a try. Thanks for getting it out so quick. Merry Christmas to Rade Garage!
Thanks for this great Instruction! Just mointed my Kit, the only thing i did not find ist what to do with the Cover of the Keylock. But I just multitooled it now 😅
Wow reconnecting all the cables is painful... it's very tight in there. I also used some black RTV to hold the dash indicators and ABS (in addition to the o-rings). Probably not needed but makes me feel they're a bit more secure.
If I don't want to install the Scotts damper (and adapter) can I just skip the part of removing / reinstall the handlebars? Or do I still need to install the adapter for the scotts damper even if I don't plan to use any?
@@walkercythompson No but installed on my own. You need to remove the handlebars because there's a bracket that you still need to use even if you skip the scotts damper adapter.
Are you sure you have the model years right for the tower? My bike is MY 2021 and it has the cluster/speedo of what you call a 2020. If I didn't watch this video first, I could have ordered the wrong item from your website, because my bike is MY 2021, but apparently I need a 2020 version of F5 kit.
Hi, the F5 kit is not certified, however it can be approve by TUV individually. Beside that we work on general TUV certificate, but this is very time consuming, so we are not able to predict the date of TUV approval.
For fellow installers... The cable part is painful alright. BUT once you do that - you are going to have something in your life that you can always come back to "If I was able to solve that mess of cables I can do " :D

Hi, the OEM plastic cover of ignition key is supposed to be reused after proper trimming.
My F5 has shipped... looking forward to installation!!
I just posted a video of the F5 tower on my 701 if anyone wants to see more shots of it installed 🙂
The video looks very good! I just missed the torques to use on all these screws and nuts. Is there a list for these?
started to mount my F5 tower today. It is a little bit unclear were the Loctite shall be used and also the torque to be used..
Great upgrade

I have the same question. 2016 model year.
Did you ever get this answered?

US 2021 have the same speedo as 2020, Only EU 2021 - Euro 5 model has the new, updated speedo.
@@rosucristi Just to be sure before I order, this will fit my 2021 EU 701?
Hello ,will this kit fit with the long range tanks ,please answer .👍🤔👍
Yes, it does fit. Only side panels are not used.
Hi!
Can you tell whether a "TÜV" approval for the documents on street use is possibel in Germany?

Can you drill hole in top cover directly below gps mount so I can route power trough there?
Yes, you can drill a hole into the carbon top cover.

WHICH KIT FITS THE HUSK 701 LR MATE
Will this fit the 701 Supermoto ?
I want to buy this kit for my KTM. Is it street legal in Germany?
Only the headlights are certified as road legal. The entire kit can be approved by TUV, however it's a matter of customer's individual effort.
Hello have you got a kit that fits to the husky 701 long range tanks please
Hi Cliff, for LR version is identical kit F5 - only the side panels are not used.
Which kit fits the husky 701 LR mate
This one: www.radegarage.com/parts/husqvarna-701-lr-f4-kit/ It's basically identical, you only don't get the side panels
Do you have an install vid for the K5 on 2020 690R?
It's the same procedure as on 701 / F5 Kit.
@@RADEGARAGE1 Cool, I just received it today & I can't wait to install it.
Thanks
