She's a Viking, and not only does she look scared, she was. But as soon as the music starts she switches off. Literally. You can see how she comes back at the end. That was her first really important big gig. In the interwiew afterwards, she said that she almost peed her pants.

I really enjoyed your reaction! AURORA is just mesmerizing! When you get to them, the 2018 KEXP concert in Iceland (especially Churchyard and All is Soft Inside), the Nidarodomen Christmas Concert (in a cathedral with choir, orchestral ensemble and pipe organ -- every song is incredible, and it's worth it to take in the entire performance as a whole), and the 2019 HAIK Concert (in a forest, with incredible versions of some different songs than those performed at the other venues). Other commenters will of course have many suggestions as well.

Aurora is a true artist with the best lyrics. I think I mentioned in a previous comment that she and Angelina Jordan are the soundtracks of my life. You should know that the Nobel Peace Prize is the only prize handed out by Norway, the other prizes are handed out by Sweden. The Peace prize concert is held in Norway and promotes Norwegian artists.

Most vocal song must be "Through the Eyes of a Child" either Live at current for an acoustic version or Live at Nidarosdomen for a grander performance with a small choir, her usual band + harp and church organ.

I love your reaction with your parent, it's so cool. When she perform at this concert she was so nervous that she almost pi on the stage (she said) she was 18yr. Her close are designed by her and one of her sister who do all of her close. Aurora is not only a voice, she is a story teler, a performer, she is the music. I think it could be cool if take a minute to read the lyrics befor for your parents, they would be able to appreciat her even more. Take care.

In this performance Aurora was only 19, singing a song that she wrote when she was 12. This was 2015, there are two outstanding performance that highlight Aurora's versatility and development as an artist since then. 1/ "Through The Eyes Of A Child" from Nidarosdomen (Trondheim Cathedral) 2017 is simply a masterpiece (ruclips.net/video/ncG9zTzsisE/видео.html) 2/ "Daydreamer" from the HAIK concert of 2019, filmed in the forest where Aurora played in her childhood, sees her smiling, dancing and having fun (ruclips.net/video/XH-Pd8hYSoA/видео.html). Well originally we intend for this to be a family channel but pandemic hit. But now everyone getting shots and so forth makes it easier to find some time to get people together. If your mother is a vocal fan then you need to have her hear Sohyang Everyone. The Vimeo version has English subs. It’s truly a vocal masterpiece. Morrisette Akin Ka Na Lang on the wish bus is another mind blowing vocalist. But if you want to start down a rabbit hole of male singers then check out Dimash, SOS. @@CodyTheReactor Oh really, well if he or your mom have any classic songs they really like, I'm sure you will find a Angelina cover of that song. She has done Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra (her "my way" is amazing) among many, many others but she also has incredible modern covers of Adele, Queen and Amy Winehouse. If you go to Angelina Jordan - coverchannel, you will find all sorts of goodies! She just signed with Republic Records. And has five great original songs on her official You Tube channel too.
