Morning Craig. How are things in your part of the world these days? Hope you hare feeling better. I understand you have been under the weather recently and with change of work. That's enough to contend with. Hope you and your family are well. Looking forward to your next visit here.
Hi mate, things are good and hope they are with you too. Had a lot to keep me occupied recently so haven't been near the van. It will be finished come March though! Just need to get my mojo back to finish off the top cupboards and then on to the kitchenette unit. Other than that it's little odds and ends. Turning out better than I expected! 😄
Thanks John, appreciate your kind comment. Hopefully the next video won't take quite as long! Looking forward to getting out and doing some serious miles in 2022! 😊🍻
Super video. Pleased to see you back and sorry to hear you've been unwell. The van door look amazing. Thanks for sharing. Keep well and good luck with the new job.
Have been binge-watching all your videos for the past few days and they’re such an invaluable resource!! So thorough I feel like I can follow each thing step by step to build my van one day. Thanks so much for making such brilliant content, amazing stuff.
@@PilgrimPods I'm doin okay. Just got slack with updates haha. I ought to clad really. Got bed carcass. And insulation but not sure whether to vapour barrier. I put a short up just haha.
Good to see you back. Just a tip though, if your rear door carpet goes under the rubber seal, it might start to wick water through into the van when it rains. You could run a sharp knife around the inside of the seal with the door closed and remove the excess to ensure the carpet doesn't interfere with the seal.
Cheers Jake! Thanks for the tip. I've been out in the van to check everything is still watertight and all seems ok but I'll definitely keep your advice in mind should an issue occur. 😊👍
Lovin the look 👀 it’s something very unique and stylish, you’ve put a lot of thought into the design and pulled off a great result. It’s brilliant when a good plan comes together so well. 😎👍✅✅
Well done mate you've done a great job, ive finished the outside of my van with the combicolour and it looks great so thanks for the tutorial. Keep the videos coming.👍
Where you have your decorative inserts I have used the same method but replaced the ply with protective floor covering plastic panels. Lightweight, easy to cut with scissors a cheap. £5.60 for an 8x4 sheet.non of my carpet is actually stuck to the van
Going great guns such simple concepts that work would like to know what you have decided on seating kitchen and if you will include a shower and loo or not in the MWB van os the colour is great 👍
Being built mainly for weekends away it won't have a shower room but the toilet will be housed in a cupboard. Swivel seats will likely have a small table each for eating at and the van will have a kitchenette on one side and a sink unit on the other. 😊
Just to let you know I am in my van me the wife and dooser the dog on the Isle of mull having a beer fantastic vlog we are at the pink cow campsite with sea views nice spot
Craig I’ve watched your videos right from the start of your conversion it’s something like to do maybe next year; your doing a great job and are very informative can’t wait to see it finished keep up the good work 👍

I'm still here! Been chipping away at other things but have started back on the van as I want to start using it in February. Top cupboards will be finished tomorrow all being well. Just need to get the paint on Wednesday for them. 😊

What's the carpet like if you get a shower and doors are open. Does it dry quickly without leaving any stains
