Thanks for the wonderful reminders about always paying RESPECT. Easy for us Westerners to forget or ignore.

Good advice but a little late for me. Been married 18 years, have a 17 year old daughter and have lived in Leyte 15 years--Typhoon Yolanda survivor--HORRIBLE! Again, good advice for newbies.

Good to hear how long you've been here. I'd be very interested to talk to you about your experience over the years and going through Yolanda. I went through Typhpon Odette. Was scariest night of my life and lots of challenges in life months after

      I know brother.
I was sent to tacloban with the international red Cross to deal with the aftermath. 2 days searching for survivors, 12 days recovering the dead.
12 of us went in. 5 of us saw it through.
None of us were ever the same again.
      It was hell on earth.
11 years this November and I can still see the faces and the smell.........

@@WatchCaliforniaExpat yes brother doing very well. I’ve been traveling around for just over four months now and I love it and my intentions are to move here full-time.
Unfortunately, my father has fallen very ill so I need to head home next week, but I will be returning as soon as possible.
Keep up the good work 😁🙌
