I highly recommend north Austin, cedar park, or the domain area if you’re looking for safety but would like to still be close to the city. The Domain is the most expensive, but a very active area with lots to do. Cedar park is more family friendly and still a lot to do but a little further north and more affordable if you’re into modern/luxury finishes in your living space. Hope this helps! Great city and very diverse!! Traffic has gotten out of control but we are adjusting. Amazing Taco spots EVERYWHERE, great night life, Domain has awesome nightlife. Tourist west 6th is cool but is mainly a tourist attraction. Food galore different cuisines that cater to everyone Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian etc
