One of my all time favorites. They call this a Pretzel Salad but we eat it as a Dessert. It’s That Good!!! I’ve even made a Sugar Free version for my diabetic family members. Both are delicious 💕

Hi Catherine, I had this as a teenager in the mid 70s. Yes I am oldISH now but still 29 in head and heart. This is an awesome addictive thing as I remember. I have had it twice probably since. Giving me an idea of having a few neighbors over Sunday night for dessert outside. TY TY for good memory
My aunt used to make this dessert in the spring for potlucks and other events. However, she used raspberry jello instead of strawberry jello. Other than that, she used the same ingredients in your recipe. Oh the nostalgia!

I have made this so many times for big family gatherings. It vanishes so fast. Make more than you think you will need, because people will be begging for second helpings. I use "real" whip cream instead of "cool whip" topping. I've done it both ways, and trust me... real whip cream is the best. Thank you for reminding me of this great recipe. P.S. I've also used frozen raspberries, thawed. Just as delicious.

For the topping, I used 1 box 3-oz lemon jello & 1 envelope unflavored gelatin instead of the 1 box 6-oz jello. Can’t wait to try the other fruit/jello combos I saw through comments too. Substitute orange jello & mandarin oranges. Yummy
I mix a small can of pineapple juice into the cream cheese. I don’t add sugar. It’s delicious.
