This really shows how outstandingly easy it is to make my own frame with a bit of elbow grease. Thank you for the video! It really makes it way less daunting to try and make my own.
Thanks for the tutorial! I will use it this weekend to build mine. What's the name of the cloth that you mentioned you use more and that does not change after removing it from the gripper? Thanks!
Hello Vera - thank you for your great videos! Have you ever used plastic QSnap frames with the plastic grippers placed on each of the four sides to hold the fabric in place? The frame is made from white PVC pipe. If so, I'd appreciate your thoughts about it. I've punch needled with circular wood and plastic frames which I don't like. I look forward to your response or from anyone else out there that have used them. Thank you!
If you want to create an extra large piece then am I correct in assuming the gripper strip couldn’t be used on areas where you have already worked (as it may damage the punched wool areas)? What is the best way to work when you need to move around the canvas and not damage already completed areas? (Hope that all makes sense!)
Would making an even larger frame somehow jeopardise proper tension of the cloth? I mean, how large a frame can I make without ending up with an uneven canvas?
Is that an electric staple gun? I tried with one like the metal staple gun but the staples don’t go in. I don’t think we have the Bosch here in Canada, can you tell us what kind it is? The difference between the two? Thanks a lot!
I am from sri lanka. How do I purchase a gripper strip frame or pc of gripper strip. I studied this punch needle by watching your videos. This strip is not available in sri lanka. Can you please help me to get down one frame. Thanks and best regards.

Is this frame better than the plastic one you used before? Do the gripper needles stick through the cloth that you might get scratched? Thank you.

How can I prevent my fabric of getting loose when I remove my piece ?
i can find those strips anywhere im gonna cry
Hi, I‘d like to ask you something: What is the blue stuff you use on the sides of your cloth/fabric to stop the unraveling from the sides?
It's tape, paper tape, the kind you would use to mask of anything when you're painting. It's simple and easy way to prevent the unraveling.
