Using a fire hose is almost identical to water wasted by a hydrant being busted or cracked and letting loose. About 5 gallons per minute. Assuming the fire lasted over an hour that estimate is actually almost spot on with 500 between water and foam.
Close to the same time, Burgundy was also north of the border in Winnipeg to assist TSN with coverage of the Canadian Olympic curling trials, better known as the Roar of the Rings.
