      Yeah maybe less than that I hope people can find places to move because it makes no sense to keep rebuilding under the sea level

    Just found this video. You may know this by now. A few days after Laura the USGS came by our house in Cameron to find a water mark. It was at 9ft at our house, but the two story house at 0:29 had a water mark at 21ft. 😳

    Has FEMA shown their faces anywhere?

      @jenniferfrank9274 4 года назад +2

      Yes they have been in Cameron Parish since before Hurricane Laura. Sadly Gov Edwards has handled these hurricanes recklessly afterwards.

    When a place gets absolutely destroyed like this, there should be a law in place to turn it into a National Park because it's wasteful and stupid to allow people to rebuild.

      They won’t be able to get insurance, if they had any in the first place.

    • @brennyhughes7251
      @brennyhughes7251 4 года назад +1

      Instead of giving people FEMA and funds over and over... they’ve proven that hurricanes are only gonna get worse! Give them the money to rebuild elsewhere and shut this shit down the whole area! Makes no sense..

      We will be back, it's our way of life, oilfield, ranching, and shrimping. Most of us will rebuild on our own, no government funds needed.
