Hey Da'Mon, I've been interested in making my own videos in a similar format you have, but the subject matter being comics. What camera set-up and software are you using?
I mainly use my phone (Galaxy S9+) but also use a Canon T5i. I just built a custom rig for a better overhead since my tripod had issues with showing the feet sometimes. For editing software I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro, running on an iMac. Hope this helps!
I’ve been using toibox for a couple years now since I watched your instructions on it. Seriously, best $20 download I have ever purchased, I use it every time I have any sort of a close-up gig. I don’t get why people would buy the same effect but gimmicked and fragile and less practical and offers less freedom/utility and triple the cost. To each their own I suppose. But toibox is the best casual “mystery box” effect out there in my opinion, with no competition.
kammagic if i find these metal tins around here i will consider buying toibox. But i wonder what exactly is the effect? What does the spectator see? Could you describe in like 4 or 5 sentences?
I felt hoodwinked, but it is my review. Had someone on Penguin get angry, but I was being honest as to why I regret buying it. I felt the video was dishonest as it shows the creating magician going in the store to buy a "normal" Altoids mint box. Not true. Despite its price and it's gimmick, it does require a hefty bit of card sleight. Think Mercury. Personally, and this is my fought, but I don't like card destruction tricks. For obvious reasons. Not worth it my opinion.
@@micahsinclair5782 ...so you're criticizing my criticizing of those criticizing my initial criticizing of the trick in question. There are different levels of magicians Michal Sinclair and I left my review and will continue to do so, whether negative or positive despite dickheads like you. Many of these tricks are very expensive Micah Sinclair (I must look that name up) and if I can help save a few bucks to someone like myself, I'll continue to do so.
@@Bringadingus It's been a year, move on. The trick is not worth it, which is why many that bought it, don't use it. I'll repeat why I didn't like it. For one, it was dishonest for him to show himself buying a real Altoids box. Two, for a gimmick trick it does require a decent sleight. Three, It's not repeatable and four, not examinable. He probably made good money on the trick. Good for him. Not my first time being disappointed with a trick. I assume you've experienced the same thing at one time. That's what the comments and rating systems are for. I imagine I saved a few people a few bucks.
I've never seen Altoids here in Canada, so I couldn't justify spending USD$60 on a trick that I would have to (re)build from the ground up anyway. However, I love the effect (and the reaction), so I'm certainly interested in it. Help anyone?
Actually if you know the secret you could built your own other brand of mint boxes for a lower price , to fix the gimmick it is super easy , you need to buy the secret gimmick that cost about 16$ on Amazon that it should last long time and could be used to built lot of gimmicked mintboxes.
H-Sun street magician can u give a hint as to where u might find the tools to make your own...I own toibox and think the effect is much more practical ($60 is alot to spend) but a different approach to toibox could be nice.
Alex Burns you need only to buy a mylar film www.amazon.com/dp/B018VI75CS/ref=asc_df_B018VI75CS5420832/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=395033&creativeASIN=B018VI75CS&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198092200243&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=13334678450731713865&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9013222&hvtargid=pla-348556453900 you'll need a piece.
H-Sun street magician thanks I will definitely look into this...little trial and error and should have a good variation to an already amazing effect...thanks again
Hi I also just purchased toibox as an alternative because I’m broke and can’t afford the gimmick but I found the slights in toibox quite difficult for me and I am able to do some. I would love the alternative method so could you provide hints as to where to look. It’s fine if you can’t toibox has many applications anyway
For me is way to expensive, don't take me wrong I love Daniel Garcia ,but you can get better trick from him with that kind of money.i love CARD TRU WINDOW.
I don't know what Daniel was thinking when he put out this effect. There's already a trick exactly like this one, toibox. If the box breaks you can buy another one for a couple of bucks, the routines are fantastic, there's so many different routines you can do. With cards, with Bill's, with coins, and it's only $20. This was a bad decision to bring out this trick for $60.
Its cool Daniel Garcia put a warning on it wish Mathew wright did on his RSVP box that thing broke first day what rubbish should have bought this instead.
Is this in *mint condition*
This trick was brought out 10 years ago by Mark Southworth and it's called tin opener
What is the difference between mint box and toibox

GREAT REVIEW I HAVE TO ADMIRE YOU FOR NOT EXPOSING THE METHOD. BRILLIANT INTRO I'M SURE YOUR NOT THE WORST MAGICIAN.
I bought one and doesn't stay set up. As soon I open the box it goes back to the default position.
Check out TOIBOX.
kammagic Toibox for the win. Nothing will ever come close.

Thanks. Glad you are enjoying it.
Do you have to do mf in toibox

Randy you felt hoodwinked? I mean it is a magic trick, magic isn’t real

Randy I’m just saying you can’t be surprised when a trailer makes a trick seem better than it really is. Sorry for upsetting you so much man

Very good and intelligent review - and respect shown to the secret which is nice. Looking forward to more.
Ok

That’s exactly why you should buy it.

Toibox is way better. Also fully examinable.
Honest review
You can always count on that from me.
Brilliant review!!!

.99 cents at the dollar store, .99 cents for aluminum , and 2.50 for a deck a cards..... whats the mark up 4.50 to 60. bucks?!?! damn
Yea but that’s not what you are buying, you are buying someone’s idea. That is what makes America great. Not aluminum by the way it’s Mylar.
Thank you for the honest review!

Just admit you ate the mints :) nice review
Ha! That may or may not have happened. (^_^)
60$ is fairly pricey. But I’d pay 60$ for an effect I will use rather than a $5 effect I’ll never use.
I can stand behind this one. Sometimes it's not what you spend but the value you get for it.
When the box breaks, which it will, you have a decision to make, stop doing the trick or spend another $60 to get another one.
Its cool Daniel Garcia put a warning on it wish Mathew wright did on his RSVP box that thing broke first day what rubbish should have bought this instead.
Over priced
