Thank you for your succinct perspective. I fully grasp what you say but i feel i have gone beyond this concept of Maya to a more enhanced truth on reality, one which through experience and knowing is fundamentally in opposition to that of an illusory reality. From my perspective the magical lie as your term it is for me the magical gift. It is our creators way of saying i have created an experience for you which you will for a time be attached to, then come unstuck from then finally crystalise through sacred appreciation the fundamental truth that experience itself, be it in the physical or metaphysical or heavenly is fleeting for our benefit and growth. If it were not, we would be permanently stuck and unable to move through endless experiences. To call life a lie is to miss the point of life being one of the creators most amazing gifts. Reality is in itself truth. Our ability to judge it as a lie is only evidence of our creators infinite love for us to be infinite in our abilities to perceive.

I used to have deep regret that I didn't go into the sciences, astrophysics specifically. But the older I get the more I am willing to accept that as a species, and of course myself might never understand the universe. Right now they're debating if dark matter and energy was the right tree to bark up. So I appreciate accepting not knowing. With that said, science and math sure are useful! It's nice to know a plumb and level house won't fall down, or vaccines or medicine will decrease your chance of dying from certain diseases. So it's all semantics I suppose, lack of having the most accurate words to describe our experience. Maybe it isn't truth but a tool and that's good by me!
