Thank you for doing a open box review the build turned out awesome. I see you use the mod for the glass. I got to get me some. The build looks just like the box art. Have a great week Sir.
May have to try to find one of these. I've got everything ready for paint with the old split bumper one. Flash was an understatement for the orange car lol.
It’s funny that you said to walk away and come back later on that front end. I almost threw it but when I came back I got it straight. Lol. Great build my friend. Keep up the awesome work. 👍
Nice build! I didn’t know the history of the destroyed vehicles. Very interesting! Love the colour you chose for the body. I hate those separate bottom front pieces. Hard to make them fit 100%. Thanks for sharing!
I'm building 70 1/2 Camaro Z28 with the half bumper and doing some back ground work on the model and found your build of it looks great thanks for the video. 🙂Thomas over at The Model Hobbyist. I also gave you a sub as well
Another fine job. I like how you showed how you applied the decals to the back of the car, putting some decal set on to fit the contour of the body. The cement that you use has come a long ways from the stuff in the tube. No more “Glue Bombs” and finger prints on the roof. Great job, Louie.
Hey there, I'm Chris.......great job on that Camaro!!!!!! I have this same kit.....unbuilt for now. I'm excited to get 2 this build in thew near future......great color & great work........well done!!!!!!!!!
Nice build! I built one of the older split bumpers and went to put the body on and it didn't fit well. Back into the box it went and been there ever since.
Looks great! I have the split bumper version built and have this full bumper version in my stash. Hope it goes together better than the split bumper version!
My Dad has a 1972 Camaro that survived the bumper law strike. It was originally a full bumper 350 4 barrel carburetor 4 speed transmission car. Burnt orange and satal color interior. It is now black with black interior. 355 4 barrel carburetor and 6 speed transmission. I'll be building a model of it hear soon.
Great video Louie! Most of that kit appears to share parts with the Baldwin Motion Camaro. A lot of times I like to glue the body colored pieces together like the spoilers and lower valance like this car has and if necessary you can trim the chassis plate to get it in it makes it a lot easier to assemble the painted car.
Yay, another great one Louie. Although slightly weathered, turned out clean! Also thankful it is molded in white. Tiny tip when building a chevy V8 with detail enough to have the vac. advance on dist. clock the dist. so the vac. is at 2 when looking forward from the back. It keeps it outa the way 2! HTH
Louie!!! Great job here! I like the blue Duplicolor you put on it, did you put any clear on top of it? Your videos make the hobby so much fun and relaxing to do! I am a spray can user like you but I need to know what kind of spray booth and its blower motor you're using because I am looking for one. Everyone has spray booths for airbrush only and is not safe for spray can usage. Please help! 😬
I did put clear over it. The spray booth is portable one I have mounted to a dryer vent hose to blow it outside. It’s designed for spray can usage. I bought it on Amazon. Thank you for the kind words.
😁 Funny fact, not fun fact. Back in the day, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, when I used Testors bottle paints, I would pour a little out in the lid and put the lid back on when I finished. Then I would have to use adjustable pliers to get it off next time I went to use it. But it kept the paint from drying up in the bottle.
Hello there, I just came across your channel today, I built this kit about a year ago and had trouble with the front end too. But your right it is a nice kit and it does look really good finished up. What kind of kits do you like to build? Myself I build mostly the muscle cars from the 1960-1970s and I enjoy building big ribs and trailers. I'm always happy to find another fellow modeler ,looking forward to seeing more of your builds and learning new ideas from painting to assembly. By the way your camero turned out really nice, I like the idea of the flocking to make the floor boards look like carpeting . Take care.

Paint job's awesome. It's always better to walk away and clear your head then come back to it. Great job.👍
And watching you brush paint sure makes me wish that my hands were that steady again.
Nice review man, thanks for sharing
That turned out very well Louie. Beautiful color and great job. Exciting story about the ‘72 vintage, I did not know that. Model on 👍😃

Great advice Louie, it's always better to set the model aside and return to the problem with a clear head! Excellent presentation as well!!

Thank you for the kind words. I build mostly car and trucks from the 60s thru the 80s. Big rigs too. Thank you for watching!!
Louie, I was wondering what kind of clear you used on the Camaro? Thanks
I used the rustolem 2x clear. Thank you watching!!
great paint job did you make your spray booth
I bought the booth on Amazon. Pretty reasonable price. Thank you for watching!!
Hey. What glue are you using? And where did you buy it?
I use tamiya glues. I bought them at Andy’s Hobby Headquarters in Glendale Arizona
@@TheAutisticModeler thank you! 🙏 I'm gonna order some for my 79 Camaro model
What was the issue?...i have a Baldwin motion Camaro in my stash
The chassis is extremely tight fit. The body is new tooling compared to previous issues. Thank you for watching!!
