if you take the items you want and place them in the tiny room joining the elevator door and the door to the morgue, then run back to the save point shown in the vid, those items will continue to spawn there, so you can just toss them from there into the elevator, so you don't need to run into the morgue room and toss stuff around each time. this'll help you accrue nodes faster
As today, it sort of works.....the nodes a re no infinite anymore. Love the game, bought the series because it was on sale. Edit1: It does work, just make sure to wait 10 seconds by the save station, thought it didn't work went back to twice but it does work.....
@@akaalisbenjamin2093 I haven't saved it at all. I just kept attempting to duplicate the items and see what the max number is. For nodes I think it's 22 but I did mess up though, I picked ammo from 1 of the creatures, by the static items. After the dropped items disappeared then after a few times of duplicating they all disappeared (static items). Edit 1: you cannot start to duplicate the items, save and exit and start at the save.... Sadly though.

Extra tip: to make the process faster, the static items in the room can be moved closer to the door to repeat the process, this is because the game loads the IDs of the items but not their position. So move the everything in the room to the front of next to the door lift, but do not take a set, and go down the lift to the save station like normal, but then in future each item will spawn closer to the door instead of their normal positions, you can even do stacks of items so leave more than one behind and in future multiple will spawn, but the multiple’s sometimes do not work, because the game is listening for IDs and disappear after awhile but the original items remain. I think multiples stay when you go from one scene to the next within a certain time frame but that’s impossible to gauge how long you should stay next to the save station a quick transition is usually best.
Another tip: if you’re doing a plasma cutter only run, fully upgrading everything will take only 46 power nodes. That’s 29 for the rig, stasis, and kinesis module, and 17 for the plasma cutter.

This works for the PS3 version as of March 25th 2021. Note: I tried the glitch with the credits and nodes and it stopped working after around 30,000 credits and 35 power nodes. Then I tried duplicating only the power nodes and got around 65 of them.
Additional information about this is glitch is that to make farming easier. Place all the items in front of the elevator Take the elevator down and touch the save. Go back up and take the items into the elevator. Congratulations you just made farming easier, what this does is make the spawn at the ele

I can confirm it sorta works in 2024 takes a couple tries for the duplicates to actually spawn I’m currently working on it right now as it’s shown in the video it takes me all the way through the save screen instead of me just tapping it in view and going back P.S I’m not understanding why is not working the way it’s supposed to don’t know what I’m doing right if need to enter the room where all the items are everytime for them to duplicate
This is definitely more for people who want to get that impossible difficulty achievement and the Epic 3 Tier Engineer one as well or generally to test weapons and be less frightened. It's for a lot of things.

Be careful when doing this glitch, because having too many power nodes in the elevator can break the game and you’ll clip through the floor which will get you stuck, so save the game before you do this glitch

You need around 155 power nodes in the game to max out everything. To repeat the process of duplicating will probably take around two minutes. So for total, it will take 300 minutes or 5 hours to get all nodes
Which is why you only really need the RIG and Stasis upgrades cause you get so many the rest of the game the initial suit advantages are enough to get you thru an impossible playthrough.
With all items you can pick up and sell to get halfway give or take. Imo once you max rig stasis telekenisis pulse rifle and ripper the rest is all icing. You can pass the game with just the ripper and pulse rifle maxed because of the insane dps and limb damage. On a normal playthrough / + re-playthrough after beating the game once you can get like probably 60-100 nodes if you farm enough enemies and sell stuff. Plus you max your suit which imo is a nice touch since that costs like a good 100 000 credits from lvl 2 to lvl 5. That includes secret areas, mini games, and conserving ammo basically cheesing ripper and conserving ammo carefully. With the glitch on impossible difficulty you can pretty much max as early as lvl 3 or 4 without spending more than 1-2 hours max with the dupe. Yeah the other weapons aren't as good as the first initial 3. Especially the memethrower since necromorphs take more limb dismemberment damage not much fire damage.
So either continue on with the story but also possibly scraping by with how little items and ammo are on hard difficulty... or use a "feature" and instantly have as much ammo as you can carry and somehow fit 100 power nodes in your suit... I know what I'm choosing.
This glitch is driving me nuts on my fourth run the money disappeared when transferring between the little room and elevator so I kept going with the nodes and on my 7th time it dissappear too!! It keeps happening! I think the stuff gets lost in the wall when dragging it where I want with the kenesis
Anyone know how to start Impossible mode with my most recent playthrough armour? I tried it 10 times by loading up my Chapter 12 save file right before the final boss, beat him, then started impossible mode directly after, but I always started with a level 1 rig rather than the Level 5 i had in the previous save. Has this glitch been patched or something? I'm following every instruction from various forum posts about this, but none of them worked :( I'm on xbox 360 btw incase that makes a difference
Impossible difficulty begins on a new save file, after you unlock the difficulty mode you must complete the game on a fresh save but you can still do the glitch if you make it to the area.

Not sure about glitching your upgraded RIG to impossible from hard difficulty. But honestly just do this glitch on impossible and you'll have fully noded gear and you'll have the suit back in no time.

I hear on console its about 155 nodes before things start getting buggy But you can toss the items out on the floor you take the elevator back on and keep it relatively stable.
I saw a hack similar to this one used at the bottom of Engineering Storage at the power-node locked room in Chapter 3. You pull the pickups out of that room WITHOUT EVER ENTERING the room, then tap the save station up the ramp behind the malfunctioning door. Either one is outstanding, but the Chapter 3 version doesn't offer power nodes. This Chapter 2 one does. These are the only two I know about.
I've been doing this for so long and j fucked it up so gosh damn hard so I deleted the save and resumed one where I actually did it and im at chap 9 so whatever ill probably replay it over again later

BOOO no it's actually really great but there's cheat codes in the game rather was intended to put in there was other incident only meant for developers maybe with some help put into the game on accident somebody hacked it and put it in the game or what nobody knows why they are in the game but when you put the cheat code in correctly you should hear the little sound of the plasma cutter when you switch sides then the cheat code work

@@kbyobcspn1 If you think about it, doing this on a fresh save means you can hit the first bench and beef up your RIG and Stasis , stock up on ammo and health packs and even more nodes with the extra credits.

Can confirm this still works 8Jan2022. I farmed 116 Nodes with none disappearing. Running on Xbox Series X and took me 1 hour 35 minutes.

When I reached the end of this game I had like 5 power nodes so even withouth this glitch you'll get a lot of power nodes regardless

That's super incorrect. Takes 40 seconds a take. At most you will take 100 minutes

Gotta do it from a fresh save
You can save beforehand but you need to do this specific way and point in the story to get your items.
