    I’ve seen other guidance where they only add one liter of water to the solution, and not completely fill it. They only fill all the way up on the rinse cycle. Thoughts?

      Thanks for watching! The amount of water to be added is usually determined by the solution instructions. The specific one I used instructed to add up to the max line. Adding less water would make the solution stronger. The rinsing afterwards would need to be longer as well to ensure the descaling solution is completely cleared out of your machine

    So my pump doesn’t seem to actually pump water because I think it’s crusted up. So is there a way to clean the pump manually? So that I can then descale properly?

      Thanks for watching! If your pump is still making noises as if its on(maybe louder than usual) it could be the pump is running dry. Try to use the syringe method to add water to the pump first to see if the noises change or if it pumps out water(requires disassembling the unit by removing the back panel). I have a video on that as well. Another way to try and get rid of air from the pump is to turn the dial on the right of the front panel as if you are getting hot water from the steamer. Put large cup under it. But t
