D13 was just hatched today so probably not yet ready to eat yet. These parents are well versed in feeding their babies and caring for their young. No worry in the nest.
Glad to hear that the second chick is a new born, I have not had the time to keep up with the various nests that I enjoy watching, and I always tend to fear siblicide or starvation of younger chicks in a brood. In my own study nest I monitor for the currator of our natural history museum, I hate it when there are two chicks at one observation, and only one on the next.
the other eaglet (D 13 ) was just born this morning at app 930 am so maynot be ready for grub D 12 is having his first feeding since coming out yesterday PM
Being someone who observes an eagle nest for a research project, I couldn't help watching the other chick who was not getting fed, plus there may soon be a 3rd mouth to feed. Hopefully the other chick had been recently stuffed full of food, and was just not interested in this feeding. If this is not the case, than what is probably the largest chick, seems to have already established dominance.

If only some human parents were so patient and attentive!
