Viscosity And Quality Level Engine Oil

The viscosity of the oil for the engine of your car is essential for a long useful life.
The viscosity tells us how easily the oil flows inside the engine of your car, because if the viscosity is higher than that recommended by the engine manufacturer, then there will be no lubrication or protection of the engine parts.
Regarding the quality level of the engine oil, it should be consulted in the car manual as well as the viscosity: the quality level of the oil is designated with letters accompanying the API term: G, P, N or S for example.
The oil has typical viscosities with the following nomenclature: 0W30, 10W30, 15W40, 20W50 and the like.
