''There are artists who can wrest us up & place us into themselves.
These are the 'One's' who will continue to wrest us up...
Even beyond their rests in peace!
Stay thirsty for these 'One's' my friends...

Are leading us to the very gates of heaven?'' -gilpin 72918

Evening Sir! I'm new to Elston Gunn's fine channel and " as if by Magic" I found yours tonight. Bob Dylan celebrated his 78th Birthday a few days ago and I feel like THE WHOLE MONTH OF MAY HAS BEEN MINE!! 'cause of all the OUTSTANDING MATERIAL THATS BEEN UPLOADED this mo. And then this HEARTBREAKINGLY, MIND- NUMBING NUMBER HAS GOT ME WEEPING TEARS OF UNSPEAKABLE GRATITUDE FOR BEING BLESSED TO BE ALIVE AND SHARE THIS TIME BEING ALIVE AND AWAKE WITH THIS GENIUS, THIS PERFORMANCE, ALONG WITH EVERY, SINGLE ONE I HAVE BEEN GIFTED WITH WATCHING, HAS GOT ME ASKING.....WHAT HAVE I EVER DONE, TO DESERVE A BLESSING SUCH AS THIS?? I can barely contain myself as I listen to this fucking GIANT OF A MAN...WITH A HEART AND MIND AND VOICE THE LIKES OF THIS?? I AM NOT DESERVING TO BE GIFTED WITH THESE PERSONAL, POETIC INSIGHTS INTO THE MAKINGS OF A MAN AS BEAUTIFUL AND BRAVE AS THIS!! thank you for your brilliant work in filming this and sharing it with the likes of me. I am unworthy of Bob Dylan's excellence, but Grateful enough in my humble opinion, to acknowledge that. Again Sir, well DONE!! Sincerely, Sacha Littlefeather

Thanks for filming and posting this. One of my favorite songs of his, although that's a huge list, and a really nice performance.
Even when I was a kid, I never understood making noise, even good noise, during a song that wasn't an all-out rocker. I understand the burst of recognition, and of course, if someone plays a nice solo, sure. On a ballad, that really should be about it, IMO. First of all, and I perform music as an amateur, I don't think a performer who's doing a reflective, emotional song really wants to hear whooping like he's playing Born to Run or Sweet Home Alabama. If I were him and I could hear it, I'd probably be more p.o.'d than grateful. Second of all, everyone else wants to hear the performer, not you. But you can't overcome Bob's greatness with some whooping.
