I agree that sometimes love is complicated, because I love your videos but a lot of the times it gets TOO real, and it makes me think about issues I don't really want to deal with. Also You're spitting straight facts about online dating, I think it's really good at making "buyers remorse" and social media constructing certain "aesthetic relationships", it definitely makes it worse. Lastly, I think the future of love will be filled with people like me who will never find love because of lack of chance; and more tragically, with people that truly had the chance to feel it, only to easily let it go away.

Definitely agree, maybe not that people are destined to find eachother, but more that online dating is very flawed and doesn’t work, and that you can learn infinitely more about a person and wether you like them or not in person, rather than on a than a dating app. And plenty of people will swipe past people on a dating by app that they would have fallen in love with if they had met them in real life, kinda sad.

I have loved countless people in my life and also lost countless people as well. Death has become to me what love is to you, its all I think about now honestly. Even as I am writing this it feels as though my skull is going to explode from the pressure, I really don't know what will happen to me. To form a bond like the one you describe, two people need to spend much of their time together, without any externally dictated modern/institutional pressure. They need an environment likewise struggle to survive together. In today's economic system, where everyone serves everyone else, where everything (that includes food, shelter, and security, for example, unlike middle ages, you no longer need a man to feel secure, so men around you don't have chivalry anymore) you want is brought to your door by someone else, where money is so conceptually equivalent to power, even if that person is emotionally/mentally open to such a relationship, the possibility of being in such a relationship is very low. I am lucky enough to have experienced a fateful love connection with a girl who I met by chance and who reciprocated this feeling towards me. However, it is a Romeo-and-Juliet-like relationship, where despite the deep feelings we very quickly developed for each other, we have not actually been able to engage personally with each other due to external boundaries. I am very grateful that in today's age of social disconnection, I have been able to experience such a genuinely heartfelt romantic connection with this girl, and I really hope that in the future we can get to know each other better.

That's why I was celibate for 10 years . Then I found out it was still the same . So, I'm still waiting for depth. I thought it would change with age. I helped a friend get into a treatment center. Drinking got her. She was the closest I got to love. But, she's 1000 miles away now and she says I was her angel. But, she left me with the past when she started her new chapter. 5:40 this happened to me with a girl i loved, let me be real here.. i have had experience with girls before this, but got walked over allot and i never had any intimacy before, i was super shy and i didn't even know how to hug.. then i slept over with this girl that i talked to online, she was from my town or atleast very close but we never talked - she was super shy - and i was super shy. But months and months we never talked irl.. i was a stoner and smoked so much weed to numb myself out (because i felt so lonely, still do but thuggin it out :P ), hence this means i'm pretty deprived when it comes to intimate love, because i met up with her sleeped with her and the feeling i got was crazy, the respect, the appreciation for allowing me to be vulnerable and intimate and be physical.. it blossomed my physical love, i was so in love i could only think of her, i send her so much texts.. this is also the first time i started obsessively overthinking if i was doing something wrong because i was so attracted to her beeing i just completely set aside all red flags and just tried all my hardest in loving her, she was going trough so much so i always tried to be there for her etc.. we met up 4 more times.. it's been a year now and i still think of her, even tho a year ago she removed me from everything, i still remember all the texts and promises i sent to her, i cared so much for her, even tho i only saw her once, this was the first time i ever was in true love. Sadly the text i send her to ask her how she is doing gets ignored, the friendrequests get ignored.. I was so in love, i couldn't sleep without thinking of her, if i want to be intimate with myself i could only think of her, problem is that then started turning into feeling like a loser for a while, by then i couldn't even be intimate with myself without smoking weed, i lost all my drive in life, started praying and her fucking name comes up in the top of my head just automatically.. She was in my head for a year after she BLOCKED, IGNORED me etc.. she once told me she even stalked me before that.. i don't understand anything anymore.. she also suddenly was in the friendgroup i was in. which made every interaction with my friends completely shattered as i constantly felt hated when i was arround. Funny thing is, even tho i reacted so heavily when she was arround and had so much shame and felt hated etc (for which there is no reason, it's my feelings (confusion)) i still loved her, i still cared for her, - and this because i shared so much vulnerabilities with her, i literally told her my entire life, she did aswell.. i thought we where so close. You see all these complexes i went trough? It went with loving a girl whom i didn't care about was in a very bad rut mentally, who was actually very kind and gentle human beeing and i absolutely loved just simply beeing with her, not for her looks, but just because of the calmness and the peace - to feeling all these feelings of shame, guilt..beeing ghosted almost every day and always bu keeping hope, then beeing almost manically joyfull when i get a reply and it beeing very dry, bland.. gosh i felt ashamed, i was beeing a dog to a girl, i was 18 by then.. i'm 19 now i lost all my friends, who i thought where friends..i started getting psychosis, i even quit weed yet i got psychosis.. i started seeing stuff like i was in hell, schizofrenic type of stuff.. this lasted for so long, i cried almost each night just by the thoughts alone about her, but these times it all changed and it was me crying about myself, finally i was able to see myself and how lonely i truely am, and dividing this into a feeling i feel and not i feel because of someone else, (this is a problem we do allot in our society, project on oneanother) i have nobody, i removed my social media after this even tho i have so much followers, i actually got scared even more and deeper into psychosis with this thought, me having almost the entire town in my following and followers literally and yet having nobody, not even a single person who contacts me once in a while to catch up with me, it felt even scarier, why did these people even bother adding me? Now, even tho she was the trigger for making me go to hell, i am back. And troughout this i never hated her, once. I still want to see her no matter what, i don't care. Last time i saw her she answered me friends when i asked what we are, and i am fine with that. I do not care about not beeing able to fudge you, i do not care about f*** sex, i never cared.. why doesn't she answer me anymore :( is this love? I have never experienced love actually my entire life.. i probably have.. she might have destroyed me, but every little thing that is love that i see, because my eyes are open for even the smallest details of love, makes me so joyfull and warm and aaargh.. but now because of my past i'm at a point where if i would get intimate, i'd probably shatter infront of her in tears A real connection is all i want, i still am alone allot but i look at it in the brightside. I LOVE playing guitar and listening to music, it’s practically who I am. However, I’m not one to really fall in love with someone, I’m not asexual, I just can’t feel love for others like I do for my passions. Personal anecdote, there was this girl I talked to, and we would send erotic messages. One day it was too much for me and I realized this is not what I want so I stopped it. I thought I was experiencing affectation, but it was all just lust. Since then I’ve become distant from the idea of dating and relationships because to me it doesn’t feel like love, at least not the kind I know.

NGL this is very tunnel-visioned. Most people I know that are in relationships have met irl. Maybe don't use dating apps. And everyone says no one is romantic. Great vid and explanation of the phenomenon that is love. Was in this type of loving relationship for over 4 years and it was divine. Ultimately it ended due to different life directions, but that deep connection was one of the strongest and most addictive feelings ever. Still having oxytocin withdrawals haha.
That's why I was celibate for 10 years . Then I found out it was still the same . So, I'm still waiting for depth. I thought it would change with age. I helped a friend get into a treatment center. Drinking got her. She was the closest I got to love. But, she's 1000 miles away now and she says I was her angel. But, she left me with the past when she started her new chapter. She told me she didn't want to talk anymore, plus, she doesn't like depth. It was an interesting intense experience I'll always be grateful for. But, it hurt when she pushed me away..and it was deserved cause I was pushing her away in the beginning. Live and learn. Sorry, but, thanks for letting tell the story . Still processing it and you're right it helps to get it out . I don't have many ears to listen. Thinking of writing a book about it all. I started writing it many times. But, I'm having trouble allowing it to flow out . At least I have an aspiration. Got to acknowledge the positive right.

5:40 this happened to me with a girl i loved, let me be real here.. i have had experience with girls before this, but got walked over allot and i never had any intimacy before, i was super shy and i didn't even know how to hug.. then i slept over with this girl that i talked to online, she was from my town or atleast very close but we never talked - she was super shy - and i was super shy. But months and months we never talked irl.. i was a stoner and smoked so much weed to numb myself out (because i felt so lonely, still do but thuggin it out :P ), hence this means i'm pretty deprived when it comes to intimate love, because i met up with her sleeped with her and the feeling i got was crazy, the respect, the appreciation for allowing me to be vulnerable and intimate and be physical.. it blossomed my physical love, i was so in love i could only think of her, i send her so much texts.. this is also the first time i started obsessively overthinking if i was doing something wrong because i was so attracted to her beeing i just completely set aside all red flags and just tried all my hardest in loving her, she was going trough so much so i always tried to be there for her etc.. we met up 4 more times.. it's been a year now and i still think of her, even tho a year ago she removed me from everything, i still remember all the texts and promises i sent to her, i cared so much for her, even tho i only saw her once, this was the first time i ever was in true love. Sadly the text i send her to ask her how she is doing gets ignored, the friendrequests get ignored..
I was so in love, i couldn't sleep without thinking of her, if i want to be intimate with myself i could only think of her, problem is that then started turning into feeling like a loser for a while, by then i couldn't even be intimate with myself without smoking weed, i lost all my drive in life, started praying and her fucking name comes up in the top of my head just automatically..
I ruined myself so much for another person, just because i keep telling myself "even tho she hurt me so much by ignoring me, and i feel like i lost myself too deeply inside another person, i can forgive and love unconditionally) For a week i cried while trying to get more and more intimate with myself, exploring my emotions, learning to let go of another - because i needed to love myself.
She was in my head for a year after she BLOCKED, IGNORED me etc.. she once told me she even stalked me before that.. i don't understand anything anymore.. she also suddenly was in the friendgroup i was in. which made every interaction with my friends completely shattered as i constantly felt hated when i was arround. Funny thing is, even tho i reacted so heavily when she was arround and had so much shame and felt hated etc (for which there is no reason, it's my feelings (confusion)) i still loved her, i still cared for her, - and this because i shared so much vulnerabilities with her, i literally told her my entire life, she did aswell.. i thought we where so close.
You see all these complexes i went trough? It went with loving a girl whom i didn't care about was in a very bad rut mentally, who was actually very kind and gentle human beeing and i absolutely loved just simply beeing with her, not for her looks, but just because of the calmness and the peace - to feeling all these feelings of shame, guilt..beeing ghosted almost every day and always bu keeping hope, then beeing almost manically joyfull when i get a reply and it beeing very dry, bland.. gosh i felt ashamed, i was beeing a dog to a girl, i was 18 by then.. i'm 19 now
i lost all my friends, who i thought where friends..i started getting psychosis, i even quit weed yet i got psychosis.. i started seeing stuff like i was in hell, schizofrenic type of stuff..
this lasted for so long, i cried almost each night just by the thoughts alone about her, but these times it all changed and it was me crying about myself, finally i was able to see myself and how lonely i truely am, and dividing this into a feeling i feel and not i feel because of someone else, (this is a problem we do allot in our society, project on oneanother) i have nobody, i removed my social media after this even tho i have so much followers, i actually got scared even more and deeper into psychosis with this thought, me having almost the entire town in my following and followers literally and yet having nobody, not even a single person who contacts me once in a while to catch up with me, it felt even scarier, why did these people even bother adding me?
Now, even tho she was the trigger for making me go to hell, i am back. And troughout this i never hated her, once. I still want to see her no matter what, i don't care. Last time i saw her she answered me friends when i asked what we are, and i am fine with that. I do not care about not beeing able to fudge you, i do not care about f*** sex, i never cared.. why doesn't she answer me anymore :( is this love? I have never experienced love actually my entire life.. i probably have.. she might have destroyed me, but every little thing that is love that i see, because my eyes are open for even the smallest details of love, makes me so joyfull and warm and aaargh.. but now because of my past i'm at a point where if i would get intimate, i'd probably shatter infront of her in tears
A real connection is all i want, i still am alone allot but i look at it in the brightside. I LOVE playing guitar and listening to music, it’s practically who I am. However, I’m not one to really fall in love with someone, I’m not asexual, I just can’t feel love for others like I do for my passions. Personal anecdote, there was this girl I talked to, and we would send erotic messages. One day it was too much for me and I realized this is not what I want so I stopped it. I thought I was experiencing affectation, but it was all just lust. Since then I’ve become distant from the idea of dating and relationships because to me it doesn’t feel like love, at least not the kind I know.

NGL this is very tunnel-visioned. Most people I know that are in relationships have met irl. Maybe don't use dating apps. And everyone says no one is romantic. But if everyone is complaining why isn't anyone taking the initiative? Because people are scared. Guys get shot down once and never try to put their hearts on the line again, and most women don't even try cause of society telling them they shouldn't. And getting the "ick" doesn't mean you don't love them. To love someone is to accept someone, but it doesn't mean you should accept bad people. But you won't always see them at their best. I think hook-up culture is not as prevalent, it's a small minority of people that actually partake in it. Most people will have 4-6 partners in their lifetime. Best advice I could give is to take the first step. If you don't, why would you except someone else to do it?
