    Nice MOC and you nailed the shape of the Superbird! One look and I immediately thought I was going to watch a video about NASCAR at Talladega in 1970. 😊

      @jwbowl1 Thank you so much!! I appreciate that! Sadly I wasn't around for the Richard Petty era, but I used to love watching NASCAR with my dad on Sundays

    not sure about the foglights, i feel like they draw more attention than the real life version, shaping in general is very good, love the whole front geometry and hood scoops

    It would be cooler in the the Richard Petty (sorry for the spelling) livery.

      @onecleverpig  4 месяца назад

      @MTHEDGEHOG True!! A Richard Petty livery would be awesome. Hopefully, we can get some more parts in those colours!

    Would probably look even nicer in a color with trans-brown/black elements for the headlights but those are probably only available from alternative manufacturers. Lego really has too few pieces in transparent colors.

    • @onecleverpig
      @onecleverpig  3 месяца назад

      @mangabuddy Totally agree! I would love more transparent elements. I have no idea what's holding them back

    • @mangabuddy
      @mangabuddy 3 месяца назад +1

      @@onecleverpig Probably material considerations: Transparent elements are made of a harder, more brittle material. That means they don't have the same smooth clutch and it can get extra bad when connecting two transparent pieces. They also scratch other parts and scratches on them look very bad. They tend to break more easily when used in play a lot or after being connected for a long time. The bigger the piece, the harder it is to produce without artifacts like becoming milky. That said, other manufacturers do fine with a lot more transparent pieces and I think Lego is being overly cautious.
