I think you did great. My favorite thing about Speed Champions is it shows ways to create shapes and connections that I would never have imagined, and your build looks like it would fit the theme well. Great video!
@joe-bowling Thank you so much, Joe! That's exactly what I love about Speed Champions, too. They always have great techniques that surprise me and spark my creativity.
@@onecleverpigthat’s awesome! The wagon was such a great car. One of my buddies imported a B4 JDM donor and transplanted it all into his Aus delivered wagon. Lots of sideways action was had 😂
#1 Dad (allegedly) made me laugh lol I’m sure you’re an awesome dad!! 👍🏼 Your car is SWEET!! 😮 the rear lights are awesome. You nailed it!! It came out great. 👏🏼 you got talent, my friend!
I love the techniques and the design is really accurate! It's much cooler than a Supra! Great use of parts at 10:00, I wish I have a Speed Champions bucket. I planned on a MOC contest for wagons this month but it might have to come later
@PapaRex7567 I know right! Surprisingly it does not scrape at all. It took maybe 5 or 6 hours across a couple days? I had it sitting on my desk during work hours so I could think of ways to improve it too
Slick looking power brick man! Been a while, hope all is well 🙏🏼 I drive a Legacy for work every now and then… man they definitely have too much power for the Japanese highways and their 80km/h speed limits 🤣 Great build, loving how you made those lights pop, those bars were a things in the 90s hey, I remember seeing them on so many cars back then 😁
@Jordtomas Ohh yes!! The twin turbo engine has some nice kick to it! Now I am seeing bars come back to lights.... seems like all the new EVs have bar headlights. Super weird. Life has been good! I hope you and your family have been well too!
As a fellow owner of a 1999 gtb and lego fan this is great and i never thought id see someone make one 😂 the o ly thing i would change is i dont think the rear window is steap enough and they also have a wing but otherwise really good job.
@jamesferguson-cooke2269 yeah you're 100% right! The rear is tricky, tbh. I opted to let the roof overhang in the back to represent the wing, everything else looked way too big. That's awesome you have a gt-b!! My only advice is don't sell it! I miss mine so much. Mazda CX5 ain't nearly as cool 😂
@@onecleverpig Yeah, I'm really happy that the Chinese brands are branching out into other types of 8 stud cars a lot, even more so recently. Especially like the (very) classic cars but the CaDA Initial D cars have been awesome as well and that Power Block Mazda in purple has some tricky techniques but its SO beautiful and extremely high quality.
@@TheBrickArtist2992 I think so! I need to refine it more, but the style will return. It was the same in my Speed Champions camaro mod video. And thank you for checking it out!
