      Now with ksp 1 you can use mods (procedural parts for big ones and hangar extended) and then use cheat (debug toolbar) for send it direct into orbit without karen effects, sorry, kraken effects🤣
      I have build a 20km diameter ring with about only 70 parts(the main body).😅 For example, but you can build strong big ship with low parts and good fps if you use well all the mods that you need.
      But these large ships don't have much detail because otherwise the parts count increases to astronomical numbers. I hope that ksp 2 will allow you to merge all the parts together and make them behave as a single entity(maybe flexible too), except when too much force break it or when ships collied and then for the areas they touch, the computer then counts them as separate parts. That is, they are a single part until they take damage to an area, and only in that area do the parts come off.

    • @machekazzo
      @machekazzo 3 года назад

      Maybe if there'are too much big collisions, like 2 parallel planes 2kmX2km with 4000 parts each and you collied them the pc see that 8000 parts are too much for your computer and count them like for example 400 bigger parts/entity and the game don't crash.
