This is the other Miguel, yes there are two “Miguels” on our team….i ran the Gen 1 Stealth (C-change fabric) for 3 years and loved it. The only feedback I would say is that the tricot liner is very delicate and will delaminate (looks like burn holes) - this is caused by the natural salts in your sweat. The best way to mitigate this is by washing it throughly each and every time you sweat in it. This new fabric on the Gen two stealth is the same fabric used in the Raptor - it’s lighter, thinner and therefore more packable but the downside is that you do lose a bit of abrasion resistance. Personally my rainshell doesn’t really come out unless it’s really coming down. No matter how breathable the garment is if you’re wearing it during aerobic activity you will start to build up moisture on the inside which (if you don’t adjust your pace accordingly) you will get soaked from the inside which would kind of negate the benefit of a Hardshell. These are True to size - if you typically wear a medium jacket then a medium should fit you. If you plan to layer thick mid layers though you’ll want to size up as these have more of a euro fit.
so they removed ventilation pockets? they were genious.
Does water get in the front main zipper? $600 for it not to have a water resistant zipper.
The Stealth LT uses YKK Aquaguard series zippers which are laminated and water resistant
$600 and made in Portugal? First Spear or UF Pro might be better value and quality.
