Besides when i was a kid i don't like the cell stuff these days. It was only exciting to me at the time being that we had waited so long to get there repeating namek over and over it was finally here but now its boring to me. Still the first time goku went super saiyan fight was one of my favorites although drawn out forever. Still i find piccolo jr vs goku as a personal favorite. Everything changes a kid loved ssj stuff now i find the fact of a mostly even battle won by skill and endurance exciting over all.

I just see him as the villain that will truly rival both Goku and Vegeta due to their personal history and one that just simply won't be redeemed but will at times perhaps play anti protagonistic roles when it is needed much like he did in the TOP arc.
I would say Taishaku Ten from RG Veda is the most cruel and ruthless character I've seen in an manga. *SPOILER ALERT" In fact, he had to become like this to save the world from complete destruction by the heroes.
Ever notice how the Z fighters aren’t terrified of other villians after the Frieza saga? like Frieza had them shaking with fear, you don’t see that anymore.
