    Awsome video!
And for instance after carefully viewing several times your videos on the new Tenere I think they are the most honest and crystal clear all over RUclips, you always been so clear on pros and cons that I never ever thought you were trying to do some sort of marketing 😊
Back to the bike, have you planned to buy some sort of accessories other than the new seat?
I'm very curious to have your feedback on a travel/adventure setup (two cases and a light bag on the back seat).
    Thanks again!

Like the camera work with the rear suspension working. I also watch the unboxing, and your comment on the white color. I had a blue XT660R and upgraded last month to a white and red Super Teneré, and love the colors. The white is like a pearl/metallic white. I did a short video with just photos basically saying out with the old (XT660R) and in with the new (XT1200Z) :-)

Great video, thanx. This bike is a GAMECHANGER. The best 50/50 bike you can buy in 2019. And its a Yamaha. It will kill GS850, Triumph 800 and AT sales. Its what all us anti electronics riders have been waiting for.

  • @martin4819

Finally a video where someone tells you that they hit the limit of their suspension and provides you with the important detail - that they haven’t adjusted the suspension at all!
Preload stock is 10 clicks but can be sprung to 24. There is a lot of adjustment that can be made to not only load, but compression and rebound as well, that would cover 98% off riders and their skill level. This is why people like this bike, Yamaha isn’t making us pay $1500 for suspension to cover 2% off riders. Rather they provide a very capable out of box bike at a price where people can throw money at things based on their wants and riding skill. Yamaha also provided a $5 bar to mount the $800 dollar “computer” we all have in our pocket already.

Main thing you have to appreciate is all the gear you'd be carrying while touring going over rough country as I used to on my R80GS. Too much of a handful on my next bike, a R100GS. 800CC dual purpose is the limit for me off road.

Good work! As far as I am concerned, I would probably be a 80/20 travel rider looking for something simple, reliable, comfortable with good performance on tar and for when the tar ends and the dirt begins. I like the low torque. I am happy to see how you pushed the bike and how it performed. I am looking forward for an opportunity to see how my long in the legs, 6'2" frame will fit on the bike. You a right to think that we are anticipating your next video.

I really like this bike, your reviews are so clear and comprehensive that I do appreciate it. One thing that worries me about Tenere is the seat, in your first 300Km you’ve mentioned that was uncomfortable, is there any option to have a more confortable seat? I never doubt about the offroad capabilities of the T7 especially for us average riders not racers or professionals but most of us must travel sometimes 200-300 km away with luggages etc.. just to get to the tracks and trails and for that the best is on highways so i would like to know how comfortable it is on long and fast freeways distances

Very impressive! But let me ask you something: have you ever ridden the new version of the Suzuki V-strom 650 xt? On road, I mean. How does the Ténéré 700 feels and compares ON ROAD with the V-strom 650? Do you think it is as comfortable and capable of long trips as the v strom is? I mean, mainly on what concerns seat comfort and wind protection ?

Ronan Rogers that’s the point, I think. I don’t want or need the capabilities of the 790. And I will be happy to pass on its hideous fairing. The tenere appears to have plenty of capability at a good price point, and for my riding will be better dollar for dollar overall. It’s all what you prioritize in a bike.

I heard in another video that the *Yamaha Tenere* - T700 falls / crashes noticeably more than other off road bikes in the same conditions.
Something to check out if you are "seriously" planning on buying one.
    BUT...
The 2020 Yamaha T700 (Tenere) is a good basic bike. *_I strongly suggest_* you avoid the temptations by the industry &
dealers making their videos on the T700. Never, ever buy a brand new design i.e. 1.0. WAIT about two to three years for the:
    - fixes to the design bugs & issues
    - improvements/modernizations like on the Honda Africa Twin & now Adventure Sport version
    - aftermarket parts & accessories to be available
    - for other folks not wise enough to wait, to buy it and spend their money not yours
Something to think about that I am sure the video maker agrees with.

KTM is taking bookings for the 790 Duke here in India and will probably launch the 790 Adventure in a few months. Triumph with no competition is the king of the hill. BMW have started but exhorbitantly priced. And Yamaha India is still making puny 150cc version of their higher capacity bikes. This could be a game changer. A Tenere 700 priced at Rs 700k would sell like hot cakes.

In your unboxing video for this bike, I noticed that the rubber inserts were not installed into your foot pegs. Did your dealer forget to install them, or did you just opt to leave them off?

I was looking today at this bike at the dealer floor (many available for sale) and didn't like welded subframe as well as alu footpeg bracket mounted directly to pipe holding skid plate...
One good bump on skid plate and it's gone.

Good review. Feel sorry for the scratches, but no scratches mean you ride it too easy haha. If I could ask, where is this place please? Is it Czech Republic? Where exactly? Thank you!

I could maybe finally give up my xt600 for one of these... once it gets released in usa.

This has been a very helpful review! I'm going to test ride an Africa Twin today, which i'm quite positive it's not going to be my future bike, but i hope to test ride the Tenere this year too.
