Budapest Travel Guide | 15 Things To See and Do in Budapest
Traveling to Hungary was awesome and Budapest had so much to see! There are so many things to do in Budapest so here are our Budapest travel tips to help you out.
From the Hungarian Parliament Building to the Széchenyi Thermal Baths, you won't have a shortage of things to do there.
The ruin bars and nightlife are amazing and the people are super down to earth! And when it comes to the architecture, WOW! Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion would just incredible! Definitely walk to the top for an awesome view.
The Buda side of the city is breathtaking and the views from there are some of the best of the city!
Really hope you can make it there soon, we can't wait to go back. We miss the food!! Central Market Hall and Hold Street Market are where it's at! :)

Superb video! One thing though, man... 2:35 "...seven tribes that founded Hungary in 1895." LOL. They started building the Fisherman's Bastion that year. Hungary was founded almost a thousand years before that. :)

Amazing video, first time i'm hearing about the food markets and ruin pubs! We had plans to visit Budapest before the pandemic started so it's been pushed back to April 2022. We honestly can't wait!

I second that. I was only there about 3 days but fantastic. If you go to the Central market (cool!), walk a bit further and go to Jonas Craft Beer House right on the river, huge outdoor tables area. First Craft Beer & BBQ is cool too. We stayed at Roombach Hotel Budapest Center and Mercure Budapest City Center, both good. I need to go back.

Just returned after 3 days lovely city great history all the positives.
All the negative filthy underground, rip off taxi drivers literally untrustworthy, people not the most friendlist in comparison to other major Euro cities visited.
The 7 towers on the Fisherman's bastion do in fact represent the 7 tribes,but they haven't founded anything they just came in to the Carpathian basin around 896, Hungary was founded in the year 1000 and the bastion was built in 1895.

Both are great, it really depends what you’re into. We preferred Budapest mainly for the cleanliness, food markets, architecture, very friendly people…but you can’t go wrong with either one. They are very close to each other so you could always do both! Hope that helps Maria!

Neither is true. It was officially founded in 1000 with the coronation of Stephen I.

Each of the seven turrets represent "one of the Hungarian tribes that founded Hungary in 1895." Oops. Only missed it by 1,000 years.

No we didn’t check out that bath, but hung out on Margaret island a couple times. Will have to try that next time!

Thanks Arne! We always look up drone laws in each country - for Budapest we couldn't so we purchased Budapest drone footage. We wish! Drone footage is really important for us in travel vids to show people a more macro perspective, so if we can't drone ourselves, we'll pay to have it. Thanks for your comment!

It all depends on where you choose to eat, but overall Budapest is very reasonable because you can find affordable food and drink! All the best Denitsa!

Hey Ted! We get our drone shots that are taken in major cities from a third party source (because it’s technically illegal), everything else we drone ourselves with no issues. Same when we go to National Parks in the USA.
